Based on my math, ovulation should kick in around September 14th, but my cycles are pretty unpredictable. Last night we 😁... well, let's just say everything went inside me, and I figured it was no big deal since I didn't think I was in my fertile window anyway. But then today, I noticed a lot of dischargeβ€”the exact kind you get during ovulation. Does this mean I’m actually in my fertile days after all????
Sorry for rambling like this, but if anyone can make sense of what I'm asking, please let me know πŸ˜•

Since I'm not getting any replies on my other thread, I figured I'd just post this here:

Based on my math, ovulation should be starting around September 14th, but my cycles are pretty irregular. We had some action last nightβ€”everything stayed inside me, so I didn't think much of it since I assumed I wasn't even in my fertile window yet. But then today, I noticed a lot of discharge, exactly the kind you get during ovulation. Does this mean I'm actually in my fertile days after all????
Sorry for being such a mess with this post, but if anyone can make sense of what I'm asking, please let me know

Roughly how long are your cycles?
And regarding that mucus you noticed, it could very well be 😬

haha, I actually had the exact same thought once; I genuinely believed it was my own πŸ‘ since it felt like my fertile window was supposed to happen much later...

I am strictly talking about his, and that is what I noticed. 😬

No way, I know exactly what mine looks like versus what his does 😬
And honestly, I have no clue how long my cycles are; they’re so erratic that "irregular" doesn't even begin to cover it. I can't even come up with an average if I tried...πŸ‘Ž

In that case, it’s nearly impossible to be certain. My own cycle runs about 33 to 34 days, yet my ovulation window hit on December 12thβ€”who would have thought?! It’s anyone's guess. You just have to wait until you either don't get it or you finally do, and then you'll have your answer. I realize the waiting game is agonizing, but that is quite literally the only way to get a definitive answer to your question.😘

yeah...
the last one started on August 28th, and the one before that was July 22nd.

I honestly can't say for sure; you'll just have to wait and see...
But the real question is, do they even want this pregnancy?

Good grief, until both of you actually get your act together, I just hope you end up exactly where you want to be.😘

If you happen to know exactly when ovulation occurred, the earliest you can realistically take a test is twelve days after ovulation.

Huge congrats! 😘
I’m crossing my fingers for a positive result for myself, too. 😍

Could be ovulation, I guess. Especially if your cycles are all over the place, but why would you think you'd get pregnant on the very first try? Give me a break. It’s pretty rare for people to just jump straight into parenthood without any effort. You'd have to be incredibly lucky. From what I know, everyone usually has to work at it a little bit first.
Just check out http://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/ovulation-tests/about/acm-20354398. That'll probably give you a better idea of when you're actually fertile and when you aren't.

Honestly, half my classmates at State University got pregnant on their first attempt totally by accident... 😬we’re basically having a massive baby boom hereπŸ˜‰

Based on this calculation, my fertile window actually kicked off back on September 2nd, which means that unprotected sex on the 6th happened right in the middle of it... 😳

Must be nice. It took us six months for the first oneβ€”just a random spontaneous thingβ€”then the second one took two full months. And yeah, it happens pretty much all the time.

Just grab a pregnancy test in a couple of days and see where you actually stand. All this nervous guessing isn't going to get you any closer to an answer; it could be anything, or it could be nothing at all.

We only did it once this whole month πŸ™‚ so yeah, she's currently passed out in the crib. πŸ™‚

It definitely looks like it... honestly, it could totally be ovulation, no doubt about it.
If you’re under 25, you're looking at an average of about 14 ovulations a yearβ€”so, yeah, having two in a single month happens way more often than people think!
I actually know a girl who ended up pregnant on just the 9th day of her cycleβ€”purely by chance, too.

So, if you're actually hoping for a baby, start getting excited!
But, if you are *not* looking to expand the family right now... well, maybe start panicking a little bit? πŸ™‚
Just hang tight for about 15 days, then grab a test and it'll tell you exactly where you stand.
