I really thought we were the only ones still keeping track of these dates, but clearly, there are more of you out there. And let me tell you, the 15th wasn't exactly some celebratory day for us; we were in a complete state of panic because the very next morning, Leona had to go in for an open lung biopsy. There was this massive, terrifying question hanging over us: would she even survive it in her current condition? Anyway, everything went okay. She’s slowly recovering now while we wait for the results to come back. We are desperately hoping they finally pinpoint why those lungs just aren't working and that there might actually be a solution. To be honest, the 15th wasn't much of a milestone, especially since just two months ago, we were absolutely certain we’d be back home by now—or at worst, staying in a parent's house with Leona. But nope, luck wasn't on our side. We're still stuck here in the ICU, and things just aren't moving forward like they should...
You need to "shadow" that seller constantly... I get that he’s dragging his feet, but being 11 months late on things like claiming the garage is a total wreck? That's just ridiculous... especially right now when sellers should be practically begging for buyers... honestly, my gut tells me something is definitely off here.

Every time some new guy wanders in trying to explain the grand conspiracy because money isn't backed by gold, we should just shut it down—or better yet, ban that chromalternativemoney person or whoever they are.
Scott Patel said:Is there any way we could start a dedicated Economy PDF? I honestly think it would be a massive improvement to have a separate section just for economic discussions. Right now, we have topics under the General Business heading that are strictly pure economics, and I’m convinced an Economy PDF would attract its own specific audience. 🙂
P.s. I'm not entirely sure if this is the right sub-forum for a suggestion like this, so fingers crossed I'm in the right spot...
You hit the nail on the head regarding the location 😁
But look, just like Antonio Banderas and feraltrucker5, I'd really love to hear the actual pros and cons here. Like, specifically, which topics should fall under General Business and which ones belong under Economy? If we can get some solid arguments laid out—and I mean heavily sourced with links—then we can truly go to "war" to get this new PDF approved!
From what I can gather, there aren't really any hidden fees involved, unless you count getting some paperwork notarized for certain types of pawn loans... or if a specific bank decides to tack on a fee just for managing your credit account...
Or are you actually talking about the interest costs? 🤷

More and more banks—especially now with this recession hanging over our heads and everyone freaking out about job security—are obsessively checking whether you're on a contract or a permanent position. I mean, there really shouldn't be such a massive gap between the two, but... yeah. That's just how it is.
I get that they might look at that when someone is reviewing a loan application manually... but what if the process is fully automated? What if it’s all being handled by an algorithm?
I honestly couldn't disagree more with that take... Look, if your employer is actually depositing your paycheck on time and everything is above board, the bank's own automated system handles your overdraft limit. It isn't some special privilege tied to whether you're a permanent employee or just working a contract gig... It all hinges on one thing: having a clean, reliable relationship with the bank, much like how a major corporation manages its accounts at an institution like JP Morgan Chase
We’ve got ourselves stuck in a contract with Comcast that’s basically rigged so they can never be wrong 😁 ... and honestly, they mess up our programming whenever they feel like it, all the time... don't even get me started on the pricing... at the end of the day, we’re left with the choice of either sticking with them or jumping ship to someone else... but let's be real, it's all just a total load of crap anyway 😁
Emily Foster5 said:The packages aren't actually being scrapped; I suspect that's just an employee rumor designed to push through the Zaba fan transition as quickly as possible. The bank isn't legally allowed to hike up service fees or switch your account type from a package to a Zaba fan without getting your explicit signature first.
Look, any bank can raise the price of a service they offer... hell, they can even roll out entirely new ones whenever they feel like it... I honestly don't get where you're getting this idea that banks can't raise fees without a signature. It's ridiculous. I mean, look at ExxonMobil—they hike up gas prices whenever they want, and they certainly don't ask for my permission or my signature before doing it. That's just a corporate decision. At the end of the day, it's on you to decide whether you accept the new price or walk away.
They can't force you into a different bundle or a specific "fan" tier without your consent, sure... but they absolutely have the right to shut down a specific package or tier altogether.
Since that GoFundMe link isn't working for me, I went ahead and "dug up" the one that actually functions properly http://www.facebook.com/note.php?not...5457206&ref=nf.
Wait... are we even talking about student loans or personal loans here? Because let’s be real—with either one, you're on the hook to pay it back whether you have a steady paycheck or you're totally broke. It's one of those things where you really need to sit down and crunch the numbers before you sign anything. You can't just flake on a bank. They aren't going to take your "I don't have a job right now" excuse lightly. They will come after you, period. And once they start, the costs spiral out of control with all those late fees, collection notices, penalties, interest hikes, and...
@Olivia Reyes97 .... Look, there is an absolutely massive thread right now on the Business section of the front page regarding PayPal, and honestly, I’m fairly certain you'll find the answer to your question buried in there somewhere.
If you're using the mobile app (and don't have a dedicated card reader handy), then it's $0.67 ... doing it at a local branch costs you more, and if you just walk over there, it’s basically free 😁
Let’s just sit tight and see how this plays out... @Richard Wright is an outside consultant (and from what I can gather, he’s incredibly well-versed in the specifics of this offer), yet even he’s completely in the dark about them.
I honestly wish they’d share this information with the rest of us too. It feels like every single time I turn around, someone is coming up to me claiming that these kinds of loans get approved left and right... so that we can actually know 🙂
It basically works by tricking you into walking into some massive big-box retailer—usually one of those places overflowing with high-end appliances... then you swipe your card to buy a bunch of stuff worth, say, $6.75, spread out over 36 monthly installments. The store gets their money, you’re stuck grinding away at the credit payments, and all you actually walk away with is maybe $5.00 (and even that’s a huge "if")
Daniel Fisher said:The text mentions "only with regular monthly income," which might just be their way of verifying that you actually have a steady stream of revenue coming in. I think I'll head down to my local Chase branch tomorrow to ask around and get some clarity myself; isn't it always better to hear things straight from the source?
That is absolutely the move... please, I am begging you, once you get the real scoop, come back and lay it out for the rest of us.🙂
