Austin Wilson60 said:Honestly, this movie is just straight-up mediocre... I mean, Rockwell was a total miss—he didn't capture anything about Bush, from his look to how he actually carried himself. If you actually want to see what a real portrayal of Bush and Dick Stone looks like, just go watch Stone's "W." instead...
You're the failure here 😁
Man, honestly? I actually liked Rockwell the MOST in that trailer That classic stare and the way he moves his mouth... I definitely didn't see that kind of detail in W.🤷
Honestly, I’m not even surprised. The way he goes off in the comments makes it crystal clear that we're dealing with someone totally unstable who lives to manipulate people. And the worst part? We’ve still got plenty of those types holding down high-level positions in the US.
The movie basically picks up right where the first one left off—man, those memories feel like they happened just yesterday. Honestly, the fact that it took this long to even get a sequel tells you everything you need to know about how much they wanted to do this right and stay original. Before the movie kicked off, they showed a teaser for some yeti cartoon, which looked honestly pathetic compared to what we actually got here. I’m pretty sure I saw more adults in the theater than actual kids, too. And the design? Man, it still blows my mind. Every single detail. The action was killer. They leaned into the whole baby thing a bit too hard if you ask me, but hey, it worked...
Plus, the voice acting is spot on again, total masterpiece 🙏
It’s split into four distinct personalities: there’s the small, normal one who just watches the Television, while the Liverpool FC and FC Barcelona fans end up carrying the weight of Juventus ☕
🤣
Just so you guys know, back in the day, televisions used to be huge and heavy as washing machines. ☕
I’m telling you, if you actually look at that trophy—which they basically swiped through some cowardly, backhanded maneuver—there would be enough fuel there to trigger a massive federal investigation and a dozen lawsuits in a heartbeat☕
Look, there was a reason they used to require you to actually win your domestic league first. Now? It’s just a joke. Honestly, I’d feel totally embarrassed walking around if I somehow won the LP without even being the champion of my own country. For real.
So, what I'm hearing is we've got the sports package (Madison Square Garden + ESPN) on DirecTV, but now the Champions League is just... gone? Like, totally off the menu?
So, I just finished watching this, and man, it’s the exact same director behind San Andreas. Just like I suspected, it’s basically San Andreas but with three giant hybrids thrown into the mix instead. I actually dug San Andreas, so I’m feeling the same vibe here—it’s got that massive disaster spectacle going on without all that annoying, useless filler crap that wastes everyone's time. Honestly? Pretty well put together. We get a solid, straightforward setup, a killer setting (around Chicago), some characters you can actually latch onto, high-octane action, and the helicopter sound design is legit. That’s it for me. I'm satisfied.
The only thing that totally drove me up the wall was how the scale of the monsters kept changing from one scene to the next. Like, how big are they supposed to be? Pick a size!
