To be completely honest with you, I really *should* be more on top of things, but I usually only bother seeing my gynecologist if there’s an actual problem. I went once before my vacation, but before that... man, the last time was way back in '97.😁

I’ve honestly never heard of a doctor there who wouldn't see you if you have standard health insurance, rather than demanding private coverage or cold hard cash upfront. 😕
I mean, I get that certain specialized stuff requires out-of-pocket payments or private plans—you know, things like dental work, braces, high-end glasses, or getting a private single room in the hospital...
But basic, everyday medical care? 🤔
First time I'm hearing about something like that...

She told you that whether the doctors here are private or not doesn't really matter... they just take your insurance card, so you aren't stuck paying out of pocket like how it works back in the States... 😉

Actually, we're looking at the goal differently. Baffy’s goal is strictly defined, whereas mine—if it even exists—can change in a heartbeat. 😁
With Baffy and his military discipline, I probably look pretty ridiculous and unserious to him... 😁
But life isn't run like a military operation, or am I wrong? Things happen constantly, and it's all up to how people deal with them.
Some people need a solid foundation—religion, discipline, set goals, a master plan... but others don't have that; they just go with the flow. They just float. 🙂

Hehe, Baffy, what would you do if you fell out of your perfectly planned, fully equipped boat and started sinking? Maybe you'd grab onto the first float you saw... those things aren't as useless as they look. 😁🙂

We all live within illusions, whether we like it or not. And as for goals, everyone sets their own... though it seems like most people just end up chasing goals that someone else laid out for them. It feels like the majority fall into that trap. 😉
Besides, I have plenty of little goals every single day. Like, right now, my goal is getting to the bathroom, then maybe grabbing a coffee downtown... but the beauty of it is that I can change my mind three times on the way there and decide to grab a pastry instead, skipping the coffee entirely. 😁
You wouldn't get that. You wouldn't even realize you actually wanted the pastry because your "goal" was the coffee, and you don't allow for deviations. 🙂

Even though I was feeling pretty low yesterday, I honestly think it was just a fluke. I’ve never really noticed any kind of influence from the Moon on my own life... no restlessness, no bouts of darkness that just seem to cycle through periodically or anything like that. 😉

Person, I wouldn't say that's quite right. I always feel like I'm freezing, honestly... I don't really start feeling alive until it hits at least 90° even when I'm sitting in the shade. I handle the heat pretty well, so if it's actually starting to bother me now, then things are seriously 🙂

Well, we'll find out next week. Or maybe we won't. They'll probably just tell me everything is fine in the end, and they don't have to tell me twice... if they say that, I won't be anywhere near them for the next ten years. 😁

Hey, Susan Ortiz43, my blood pressure has been bottoming out for decades now... I'm used to the whole deal where I can't jump out of bed or get up from a chair too fast without getting all dizzy and stuff, but why on earth would my legs suddenly start swelling up from that? They've never done this before... And nothing has changed with what I'm eating, or my weight or anything like that.

Just let me enjoy my weekend, because next week I'll be heading off to see those "men in white" doctors. (That's what we call them here, guess why... 😁)

It’s not that I’m hating my life so much that I want to check out early... it’s actually the exact opposite of that.
Honestly, I might actually lose it if I live to be 90. There’s just no way I can handle the physical stuff in real life anymore—if I take a tumble down the stairs, there's no climbing back up. And don't even get me started on tech; I can't even see the fonts on my computer unless I crank them up to size 72, and yet I still want to be out there causing trouble all over the world... So, if anyone is wishing me a long life, they clearly have a grudge against me.😁
Everything will turn out fine, but seriously...🙂
