To sleep with or without a pillow? in Health ·

I’m still standing by my claim—I've definitely got two heads... 👋

I honestly don't get how someone with your level of experience—and let's be real, you've been around the block—could be this clueless.

I mean, seriously... how does anyone manage? 😁

Well, I've got my ways.
Two hands
two feet
and two brains...

Look, if that’s really the name you’re obsessed with, fine.
Call them whatever you want...
🙂 😁 😛 👍

They call it Papilov nonsense.

For me, the pillow acts as a sort of structural barrier—I lean against one part while resting my head on the smaller section underneath.
Honestly, I used to sleep however I wanted... just total chaos.
But ever since those spinal issues flared up, I’ve had to switch to sleeping strictly on my stomach.
Does anyone else have this bizarre setup?
My "star" configuration actually has five points, rather than the standard four. 🙂
Or maybe it’s six—I’m really not sure how you even count them at this point... 😂
You sign up for a forum, drop a few links to products or websites, someone bites, and before you even get banned—boom—the marketing machine is already in motion.
But if you ask me? The whole thing just looks incredibly cheap and naive.
Co-pays and out-of-pocket costs in Health ·
Having supplemental insurance doesn't change a thing.
They’ll just keep systematically billing you for every single scrap of paperwork through $3.25.
And honestly, I have no clue how you even prove you've already paid your taxes for the month—probably just by waving some receipts around.
So here's the real kicker: how does anyone at Medicare actually know if someone has already covered their $10 for the month? If they've already paid, they shouldn't be charged again...
I mean, if you happen to get on the good side of a clerk, she might just tell them you're all set $10 and you won't get billed a dime.
How on earth is Medicare supposed to track all that?
They really ought to develop some kind of integrated software system to track existing payments—which would probably cost millions of dollars—but hey, as long as the bureaucrats keep lining their pockets, who cares...
Inpatient Rehab? :( in Health ·
Your question is a bit too vague to be helpful.
Every spa destination has its own specific specialty.
If you actually lay out what you're dealing with, maybe someone here can point you toward the right spot...
Facial exercises for muscle toning in Health ·
Stand in front of a mirror and just go wild—make every single face you can think of. Watch which muscles actually twitch... basically, just do some facial gymnastics until you've worked every single one of them.
Spa therapy in Palm Springs in Health ·
In my experience, Palm Springs is the absolute best—though I know people will have their own opinions on that.
When you arrive, they let you choose your room setup; you can go with one bed or two, though they used to offer four-bed rooms back in the day.
If you’re looking for some actual privacy, they have apartments available in the newer section.
Once you're checked in, a doctor performs an initial assessment and prescribes your specific treatment plan.
They provide everything—hydrotherapy, exercise sessions, massages, electrostimulation, and various other electrical massage therapies.
You’ll have a follow-up exam after one week, and the cycle continues from there. Honestly, staying for three or four weeks is the way to go.
There’s also gymnastics and structured exercise classes.
The food is decent enough if you aren't a picky eater, but it gets repetitive after about fifteen days since they rotate through the same menu...
As for your specific situation, I really can't say which exact therapies would be prescribed for you.
How clean are your local dentist's offices? in Dentistry & Oral Hygiene ·
It’s perfectly standard procedure to disinfect everything.
Any equipment that doesn't make direct contact with a new patient—just basic surface tools—gets disinfected.
But anything that actually touches them, you know, things like drills, burs, needles, tweezers... those undergo full sterilization.
Are you seriously suggesting that shouldn't be happening either?
Help with circumcision in Health ·
First off, you really need to sit down and ask yourself if this is something you actually want—and what exactly your goal is.
There are basically two different issues at play here.
1. A tight foreskin, which is typically handled via circumcision, though there are various ways to approach it—you can opt for a more conservative or a more extensive procedure.
2. A short frenulum—if that area starts stretching too much or tearing, then you might just need a localized surgery to fix that specific issue.
As for HIV, I don't think there’s a significant difference in risk, unless you're suggesting that a smaller surface area somehow limits exposure...
But again, that's just my take on it.

So, we’re looking at two different models here—one at 100V and another at 23V.
Is there any way to get a photo? If people even post images on this forum, that is... I'd really like to see what this thing actually looks like. 🙄

Don't just take this at face value.
I’m well aware that those little bumps can pop up as a reaction to something in your diet that just isn't sitting right with you...
Or maybe it's a sensitivity to your laundry detergent...
It could even be an allergic reaction to just about anything under the sun.
Then there's the possibility of a staph infection...
Or perhaps it's an infection or irritation centered around the hair follicle—especially if these things are appearing right in your pores...
Anyway, here are a few observations I just thought of.

Are you some new spokesperson for the supplement industry, or just another nobody looking for attention?

If you don't mind me asking, how exactly did you measure that 100V spike?
Was it DC or AC—and more importantly, how long does that surge actually last?
I'm also curious where you even picked this thing up and what it looks like in person.
It sounds like the whole point of this switch is just to give whoever flips it a nasty shock...
?
And is it actually possible to start a fire with something like that—considering most people would probably jump out of their skin from the shock alone?

I've heard that Vitamin C can help out too. 😁
P.S. Look, I know I’m hardly an expert here—but sometimes you just have to speak up...
