True. That "snake" is actually pretty interesting to me. It’s got this eerie, unsettling quality to it, and the craftsmanship is solid—it feels genuinely alive. Though, if I'm being honest, even ordinary snakes can feel pretty eerie sometimes. 😁
Those aliens are a bit pathetic, I guess... especially during that scene in the meadow. 🙄 Next time I watch it, I'll pay closer attention to the details. Unfortunately, I had to rewind it quickly and completely forgot to rip it to the disc. God, I'm an idiot.
I was genuinely hooked on this movie until the very end, where it let me down just a little bit—though it wasn't a total disaster. What’s actually unsettling, though, is that alternative ending. Seriously, don't watch it! 😲
There are too many loose ends, and the characters feel pretty thin. Everyone seems to have these special abilities, yet for the drunk guy, for instance, we never really learn what his is. And here's what really bugs me about the whole premise: if they care about Duddits that much, why on earth haven't they seen him in twenty years? They're all gathering in that shack without him... it feels a bit silly, honestly. 🤔 The atmosphere and the visual effects definitely help save the experience... 👍
If we take that average salary figure at $1333, which is obviously a stretch—statistics can be quite deceptive, can't they?—it works out to roughly $7.25 per hour. That’s about $3.70 an hour. And just for context, what’s the price of a Big Mac these days?
dustyscout53, as much as you love to mess around—you aren't far off the mark. It’s roughly comparable to fashion and design; if something is so hideous it makes you want to crawl out of your skin, but a famous and "respected" designer signed off on it, it’ll be a total 🙄
I said I was done posting here—but 😁 this actually gave me a laugh.
The most hyped movie out there: it practically has to carry the title "Kill Bill, Vol. 1." Look, we all know Tarantino is good, but the sheer excess of it is just too much. You couldn't even crack open a jar of pâté without Uma popping out of it in that yellow tracksuit.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder 😎 and the same goes for madness, art, and entertainment... That’s just my take on it, and I have no desire to debate it any further.😉
To felt like twenty bucks down the drain... someone told me when I left the theater, "That's just Tarantino for you. You either love him or you don't." Apparently, I'm not a fan. 👎
And I honestly don't get the hype... if you all think it's brilliant that the foundation of a samurai showdown in Japan is actually a Spanish musical—fine, be my guest. It makes zero sense to me... just give me one example of those "artistic" ambiguities you keep talking about.
It was way better than I expected. Honestly, I only went to see it because the first one became such a classic—just felt like I had to. But man, what a surprise. It’s a blast 😎
stormycyclist13, don't be such a buzzkill—this is easily the best dubbed movie we've seen in the US. I honestly don't know if anyone can top this anytime soon. They set the bar so high this time that they actually seemed to put in some real effort 👍
brismarlin59, if you think that’s bad, you should check out "The Leftovers" featuring that little black widow from the scream of the raven. Now *that* is a disaster! 👎 Femme Fatale isn't even that terrible; I've seen much, much worse. 😎
Just finished watching it... truly unbelievable 😲 One minute you're laughing your head off, and the next, things get so disgusting I actually felt sick. Those guys are absolutely out of their minds... 😁 It’s a strange one—I can't exactly call it a "good movie," because it isn't even really a movie. But it's worth a watch, if only to see just how many idiots are actually running around out there. 👍
Last year 😉 The rumor was there from day one—that he set the fire himself. I won’t get bogged down in the details because it’s a rabbit hole, but personally? I buy it. When you see the level this guy operates at, it’s stomach-turning. He’s docking every single employee $167 out of their already pathetic wages just because of some burnt-out building that wasn't even his to begin with. Then, he cashes in the insurance money—which, by the way, was paid out just a month or two before the whole mess happened. Honestly, I don't even get how he managed to insure Diana's—formerly Universal's—building. To make matters worse, the structure was actually safe after the fire; it had been stuck without an occupancy permit for years due to terrible construction (everyone remembers how those floors used to sway if you even jumped). And the icing on the cake? He goes on public record claiming the fireworks for the grand opening of the new department store—which, again, isn't even his, he just got it from the city—only cost him $3.25 😲 . So yeah, he’s taking $167 out of people's paychecks for "renovations," yet finds the cash for fireworks for $3.25... I mean, seriously 🙄 . Maybe I'm wrong. This is just my IMHO 😎
At Walmart, it’s become a regular occurrence for prices to skyrocket between the shelf and the register. It’s happened to me more than a few times, always without warning. There wasn't a single sign or notice about potential price discrepancies, and the jumps were massive: one tool was marked at $6.25 on the shelf, but once I hit the checkout, it jumped to 35 😲 It honestly left a bad taste in my mouth... I even found several items that were at least 40% cheaper at Home Depot, which actually offers better quality since everything here feels like low-grade, third-rate 🙄
