How do I find my old or recent posts? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Make sure you subscribe to the threads you're active in. The search function has been broken for ages now, and frankly, nobody has any clue when they'll actually get it fixed.
Just go ahead and install AdBlock Plus or whatever other ad blocker you can find in your browser's extension store.
Chase Student Starter Pack in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
As darkmaker94 puts it, an annual interest rate of 2,336.00% would be, shall we say... a tad excessive.

With an American Express, you aren't hit with interest unless you actually miss a payment deadline; once you do, they charge you based on the legal annual rate, which sits somewhere around 7%
. As for your checking account, interest is calculated on the final day of the month. Regarding your question about how interest is actually computed—assuming I correctly understood your confusion (and I truly hope you aren't majoring in economics 😁)—it works on the principle that interest accrues daily based on whatever your balance happens to be at any given moment. This applies to both credit and debit balances alike.
At the end of the month, your statement simply displays the total sum of all interest earned and charged.

No. The internet just isn't built for people who can't handle the heat.

Nickname change (read first post!) in Forum Help! ·
1) There really isn't any need to explain why you're switching to a new username
2) Since you're going through the trouble of changing it anyway, why not try to come up with something actually creative? You haven't posted enough to be stuck with one identity; you have plenty of room to pick something unique and original
3) Ultimately, the responsibility lies with you to double-check whether the handle you want is already taken before making the request

Kimberly Bennett94 and Duba would make one hell of a powerhouse IT admin😁

You'll see a little blue square with a white checkmark sitting right in front of every thread title. If you click that, it’ll jump you straight to the first unread post in the discussion. If there isn't a square there, it just means you're all caught up and there's nothing new to read.

edit: To be fair, I'm actually talking about the exact same icon Kimberly Bennett94 is referring to, except my way saves you the trouble of even clicking into the thread itself. Honestly, I didn't even realize the option was tucked away in the top left corner once you're actually inside a topic; I usually just stick to using it from the main index page 😁

Failing to read the opening post with any degree of actual comprehension will henceforth result in this being bolded from the first post

A few quick notes:
  1. Requests such as a change from Mark to John or something similar are not allowed. The only exception for a total nickname overhaul is for profiles with fewer than 50 posts. Minor corrections that are
    actually
  2. permitted include adjusting capitalization or any slight tweak that does not change the core meaning of your handle. It’s important that your identity remains recognizable. For example:
    • to timothy jackson2 or timmy. New nicknames are restricted strictly to letters and spaces. Adding any other symbols isn't allowed (like dashes, dots, asterisks, etc.).
*A period is only okay if it serves as an initial, provided the period isn't the only thing separating the requested name from the current one

**Additionally, please don't ask for a period if your entire handle or most of it would consist solely of initials
  3. Please do not reach out if you have already changed your nickname once before.
Before submitting a formal request to change your name, please give this a read as well:

  6. Blabla if there is already a user named
    • or something similar. Please be patient while we process your request. Don't expect it to be handled instantly—sometimes it might take a couple of weeks to get sorted out... Don't forget that changing your nickname also changes your login credentials. So, if your old username was meerko and your new one is
      mirko

، when you log in, you will enter
  7. mirko
as your username along with your password.
    • Once I approve the change—meaning your request meets all the rules mentioned above—you should send a private message to our administrator Nici and make sure to include a link to the post where the change was approved. *You can grab the direct link to any post by clicking the number (the link) in the top right corner of the post itself. Please refrain from posting things like "I don't like my name, can you change it to something else?". Please provide

  8. and single suggestion that follows the guidelines listed above. In cases where the name you want is taken, but that user hasn't logged in for years and has very few (or zero) posts, there is a possibility we might approve your request anyway. The administration will decide whether or not to grant such exceptions. The admin team is not obligated
to provide a detailed explanation for why a request was accepted or denied.
  9. How to check if a name is available: 1. Click on Member List at the top of the forum page.
    2. Once there, look for the search tool on the right side. Click it, type your desired name into the field, and hit Search.

Note: The administration reserves the right to accept or deny any nickname correction request, even if it falls outside these specific rules.

That's not possible. Just send me a private message with the email address you used when you first registered that handle and the new email you want to switch to, and I'll get the change processed for you.

No. Go back and read the very first post.

Let’s not get bogged down in semantics here. What you linked are just synonyms for speech sounds, which honestly has nothing to do with what we're discussing. I’m genuinely surprised you didn't opt for something like "diphthong," "consonant," or even "sibilant" 😉
. Come up with a new handle that actually follows the nickname change guidelines.

It’s just impossible.

Unfortunately, that isn't an option. You're going to have to stick to the guidelines laid out in the original post and pick a nickname that actually resembles your current one.

It isn't ransomware. You just got a little greeting from Reddit.
And you might want to take a closer look at that sentence; I'm positive you'll find it says "infraction," not "infection."

What on earth does "the topic of non-profits" even mean?
Are we talking about how to actually start an organization, or is this going to be a critique of how these groups operate? What exactly is your agenda here?
Nickname change (read first post!) in Forum Help! ·
Are you actually certain about that? Because honestly, that username of yours is pretty incredible 🙂
