Jason Campbell70, I know you're still nursing that wound from Jacques Villeneuve's WDC win.
But honestly, he earned that title fair and square, even if there was some other driver drama involved
where someone tried to snatch the championship using a tired old playbook.
At least this time, he wasn't dealing with any schemes involving Damon Hill.

As for this race, I’m really crossing my fingers for a dry track and a much more intense battle between the top two drivers.

Pastor Maldonado finally rolled into town for the Monaco Grand Prix yesterday.

When it comes to the power unit, I suspect both General Motors and Ford are likely scrambling just to figure out how to tap into that full 160kW output, especially since everyone seems to be hitting a ceiling at around 120kW.

Doesn't the hybrid system cap everyone at roughly 120kW?
That's about 160 horsepower. It’s highly probable that only the Mercedes Hybrid system is actually delivering that full 120kW, while the others are struggling with a lower output.

Valtteri Bottas was absolutely convinced yesterday that he could have overtaken Jenson Button.

We saw a nearly identical conversation last season during this same race, though back then, the main focus was all about Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.

Looks like we’ve got one less competitor in qualifying in Bahrain—Daniel Ricciardo is out.
What kind of penalty did Kevin Magnussen pick up today?
Valtteri Bottas just wrote his name in the record books as the first driver to rack up penalty points.
I guess he can't complain; since he's from Finland, he doesn't exactly have any buddies at the Department of Homeland Security to call to make those points disappear.

Bottas jumped up 10 spots. In my opinion, Massa really should have let him through so he had a shot at overtaking Button.
Maybe he wouldn't have pulled it off, but at least he would have given it a real go. Massa didn't even attempt to put any serious pressure on Button.
Back in Malaysia, Pat Symonds wasn't there, so maybe things would have been handled with a bit more tactical finesse. Since Steve Smedley is heading to Bahrain, we'll
likely see the drivers coordinating their strategies a little better.
Williams is struggling with rear downforce. That’s why they looked so much weaker in the wet, which was pretty obvious during both qualifying sessions.
On the flip side, it gives them a bit more straight-line speed. Based on what I could gather regarding fuel consumption, they were among the most efficient out there.
All in all, I can be happy with these first two races. We might have missed out on an extra point or two, but honestly, seeing the
progress they've made compared to last season makes watching these races so much more enjoyable.

You'll see... Tyler Bennett5, if you don't listen. 😁

🤣
I'm feeling a bit chilly today and I've been sleepy all day long.
Well, at least the kids can stay entertained until about 11:00 PM.

As for the race, I'm really hoping for some dry qualifying sessions, but after that, honestly, I don't mind—it could rain, or we could have those annoying little showers every ten laps.

I think I'll stick to blondes myself.

It is truly music to my ears!

My dearesteeeeeeeeeeeeeee Dorian, do we require a new servant? 🤔
Perhaps we ought to hire this handsome gentleman.

Is this how one speaks of a lady in her absence?

Your manners are quite lacking! 🙂

My dear, you must challenge him to a duel to defend my honor! 😁

I assume it isn't just you and Nicole running the show over there. I'm really hoping there are other gorgeous ladies on staff who might need a hand every now and then—and who would be happy to return the favor.
That said, I’ll leave Dorian to serve as your exclusive genie.
Please don't think for a second that I find you unappealing; it's just that Dorian and I are part of the same crew, and we have our own little gentleman's agreements.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind the bathroom either.
I'm sure you'll need someone to pour some hot water into the tub.
And if you need some bubbles, I can handle that too.

One by one, the tribesmen dropped to their knees, showing their respect. Even young rustycobra32 knelt, bowing his head and offering up his tomahawk. stormybadger8 let out an American war cry, thrusting his tomahawk high into the air. A large "Gray Finger" tattoo was visible on his chest.

- That’s Chief Gray Finger! - shouted rustycobra32
- The prophecy is true, the manitou is powerful! - Leslie Eldridge added enthusiastically.
- Yeah... the prophecy says Chief Gray Finger will emerge and lead the people to a massive victory riding a red bull. - DMW MAXIM finished.

DMW MAXIM tried to crawl away and make something of the situation, but stormybadger8 spotted him and pushed through the gathered Apache to head straight for him.

Meanwhile, akoj, Pat, 4season, and Josip Presvetli arrive at Padock. Since the town is basically a ghost town, they decide to push on toward Tamburello.
In Tamburello, the sheriff and his deputy reach the edge of town. Noticing a stagecoach parked with an unknown driver, the sheriff crosses the street while Fortinbras stares out at the prairie, trying to make sense of the dust cloud approaching them. It turns out the driver is none other than iceman-st, and the group kicking up that dust arrives shortly after. tomi, babunovich, Tijs, and Tsigalko 11 dismount their horses. iceman-st joins them, and a tense standoff begins between the sheriff and Fortinbras on one side, and the newly arrived quintet on the other.

- Alright boys, take it easy... - the sheriff said, trying to gauge the newcomers' intentions.
- You're in our way, Sheriff. - tomi snapped, while Tsigalko 11 just spat out some chewed tobacco.
- We need to know why you're here. - Fortinbras chimed in.
- All you need to know is there are five of us, and you two... - Tijs stated confidently.

Dead silence. Standing face-to-face, the brave cowboys sized up their opponents—and themselves. Fingers drifted slowly toward holsters, and countless scenarios played out in their heads.

(Here's a little interactive bit. On one side we have Panagloss and Fortinbras, and on the other iceman-st, tomia, babunovich, Tijs, and Tsigalko 11. The duel starts tonight at midnight local time, following these rules. Basically, anyone can shoot anyone by typing BANG followed by the target's name in the thread. For example, tomi types BANG Fortinbras. Once that post appears, the shot is considered fired and successful. Only posts timestamped at 0:00 count. Anything at 23:59 or 0:01 and later won't count. Since the odds are uneven, the lawmen have 2 lives—meaning you have to hit them twice to take them out. After time runs out, we'll check who's still standing. Naturally, shots are handled chronologically as they appear in the thread, so if a cowboy is already hit, their subsequent shots won't count. If there's any confusion, we can hash it out before midnight.)$

During all this, Tyler Bennett5 and Rain were relaxing while looking at the beautiful chest of the caring Tyler Cruz32, who was tending to Dorian. Captivated by the sight and pretty drunk, Tyler Bennett5 turns to Rain.

- Damn, if I hadn't missed my chance at that poker hand, I could've had a pair like this! - Tyler Bennett5 muttered to Rain.

Rushing into Pit Stop, the scout hopped off his horse, looking visibly shaken as he searched for the veteran captain, Fernando Alonso. After reporting the chaos unfolding at the Paddock, he briefly thought of the old captain before pulling himself together—ordering about 20 soldiers to gear up and follow his lead.

Meanwhile, Akoj, Pat, the holy Joseph and 4season decided to head back toward the Paddock. Maminho was making his way toward Tamburel alongside Ricardo Gasquet, while over at the Apache camp, TBF and rustycobra32 were locked in a tense game. Taking a pipe from TBFove's hand, the young kid just crushed it and ate it.

(TBF, it's your turn now—you can either try to knock that kid out between the legs or just start lecturing him about Sebastian Vettel)

After cleaning up the black pig, Nica looked around, trying to figure out an escape route. A bit further off, mobberzg and ruggedfox28 managed to snag two runaway horses from the camp. Seeing the lady approaching, mobberzg turned and chased a horse straight toward Nica. She caught mobberzg by the arm, Nica deftly swung herself onto the horse and pulled the cowboy around her waist. Together with ruggedfox28, they headed off toward Tamburel.

Things were just as messy by the train cars. Pastor Maldonado was busy explaining to Pilatus exactly how and why his horse had bolted, while Vuco watched the argument unfold with pure disbelief.

- Look, I seriously wasn't provoking him when I realized I was losing ground. – Pastor Maldonado tried to justify himself.
- Like hell you weren't... - Vuco snapped back.
- Oh yeah? And how exactly did you think you were going to get out of this? – Pila cut in.
- If he knew what he was doing, he wouldn't have pummeled the guy like that! – Vuco yelled, grabbing Maldonad by the vest.
- Enough, both of you! It's not like he actually beat him up. – Kamui Kobayashi interjected, nodding toward WayOut, who was slowly getting up.

Then, Holger Badstuber tossed an unconscious Rtzuiop out of the car and politely helped Begemotica down from the wagon.
The rest of the group was closing in on the gold mine, and accident started blowing the siren to signal their arrival. Riciardo and Sebastian Vettel stood at a makeshift station, watching the train approach.

- What are we doing with them? – Holger Badstuber Pilatusa asked, pointing at Rtzuiop and Begemotica.
- Watch, we're heading to Tamburel to play a hand of poker, so we'll need some chips for the buy-in. – Pila replied, giving a wink to the loser, Adrian Sutil.

He just chased the horse toward WayOut, who was just standing up, and then with a precise throw of the lasso, knocked him right back into the dirt, dragging him toward the rest of the crew.

A carriage with a small escort pulled into Tamburel. Stopping in front of the saloon, the driver tapped on the roof and the doors swung open. Lewis Hamilton stepped out, looking sharp in a fine suit and a top hat. With a look of pure disgust, he eyed Dorian.G lying on the ground with a bloody face in Meadow's arms, before turning back to the carriage. He reached out a hand to help Nicole Scherzinger down. Once inside the saloon, Nickole went up to her room, while Lewis Hamilton joined The Endo's crowd, along with Felipe Massa and Sergio Perez, for a drink. Arciero sent someone to fetch Mr. The Endo, and Sheriff Panagloss and Fortinbras decided to wander over to the saloon to stretch their legs.

To be continued...

Just wait until I get Max Verstappen in line. 😬🤣

Max is going to tear through those redheads, and someone’s going to be left picking up the pieces in the camp.
At least so far, the ones who stayed out of the fray have always come out on top.
