I honestly live for just plain old cornflakes drowned in hot milk, it’s the absolute best
all those other people obsessing over adding fruit, granola, or chocolate—to me, it all just feels way too sugary and overdone

Patrick Fowler83 said:it feels like everyone here is busy pretending to be active, but nobody is actually taking any real responsibility for their own physical health; what I mean is, if you’re constantly moving around, you can't just cycle through gaining ten pounds, losing it, then gaining it back again like it's some kind of revolving door.

To put it bluntly, nobody seems to have an actual sense of wellness—and yeah, that includes staying fit.

No offense intended, and
without making any sweeping generalizations (though it does seem like Justin Ramos2 is probably the most dedicated one among us when it comes to hitting the gym),

😕

but honestly, the specific sport you're into might actually be doing you more harm than good.🙄

Man, just thinking about some crispy fried elderberry makes me want to drop everything right now, head out into the wild, and start gathering them before they're gone... 🙂 👍

Honestly, this tennis thing is incredible—everyone keeps telling me how great I look playing it, so I’m basically a walking billboard for the sport.
👋 👍

Come on, post a photo so we can actually see you 😉 ; personally, I don't buy into any of those wild claims unless there's visual proof. 😉

Honestly, those two things just go hand in hand. 🙂

atlantis said:and honestly, if you’re dealing with a legit allergy, just toss that "just stay out of the sun" advice out the window, because you could actually end up in real trouble if you keep exposing super sensitive skin to the UV rays...

I’m leaning towards it being a sun allergy myself, mostly because I'm too lazy to actually drive down to the doctor to get some professional opinion 😎

It’s been happening to me over the last few years whenever spring hits, the sun finally decides to show up, and I swap my long sleeves for short ones
I end up scratching myself raw—even in my sleep, really—to the point where I irritate my skin so much that by the next day, I've got these tiny little bumps all over, almost like my skin is swelling up 🙄

The weird thing is, I don't even have pale skin; I tan incredibly easily, which makes this whole situation even more baffling to me
😢

I mean, you really went through the whole checklist with the creams and those pills you listed... honestly, where do I even start with all that?

It’s one of those gray, gloomy days here today—no sun in sight, just clouds rolling in like it’s about to pour—so, thankfully, my skin isn't acting up quite as much as usual. The itching is actually pretty manageable for once.😉

Jaundice 😲? Like, what even is that? Give me a breakdown here, I’ve honestly never heard the term used before!

It’s also right here... down by my forearm 😁

Is this some kind of sun allergy or something?

I’ve already gone and absolutely shredded my arms from scratching them; honestly, I look like I spent the afternoon rolling around in a patch of poison ivy 😲 😕
What on earth am I supposed to do about this!

Has anyone else stumbled upon that new "Take It or Leave It" quiz?

I mean, is anyone actually forcing anyone else to do anything here?

It’s really just about whether an individual decides to explore options outside of what your standard dermatologist suggests. That's all it is.

Personally, I feel like my dermatologists have done significantly less for me than other methods I've tried... and look, that was entirely my choice. It doesn't mean things like prescription creams, Oil City products, omega-3s, or even just some sunshine and time at the beach won't work wonders for someone else.

...and honestly, nothing gets under my skin quite like when people acting like they represent FIFA start posting those bitter, condescending comments, mocking everything and whining about commissions...
If you think about it for more than a second... why would I even bother offering my grand donations if nobody is going to deposit them into my checking account anyway?

🙂 🙂

We gave the little guy some cash as a gift, and he decided—after checking in with his mom, of course—that he’d pick out something himself

I mean, seriously, why can't you just walk into a specialist's office without some official referral and simply pay out of pocket for the appointment? It should be that simple!
Look, I’ve never had an issue with referrals myself—my doctor is great and writes them for everything my kid or I might need—but I really don't think the whole referral system should be such a massive roadblock for everyone else...
Just go see someone, Justin Gonzalez87, at least to get a pediatrician to confirm that everything is actually fine. You have no idea what I'm dealing with right now—the chaos involving the kids, the family... it's a total mess. Honestly, I know the local hospital systems and private clinics better than I know my own bank account at this point.

Elizabeth Perez57 said:Most people who say they want to lose weight actually just want it to happen overnight, without having to lift a finger at the gym or deal with hunger pangs, and they won't listen to anyone unless it's some guru peddling a "magic" diet that promises you'll drop 15 pounds in three days. 😢

Honestly, those "miracle soups" are three times worse than anything from Herbalife—if you ask me. At the end of the day, everyone just picks whatever fits their own vibe, whether it’s based on their daily habits, the food they actually enjoy, or that one specific thing they feel like they absolutely can't live without...
Ear infections in Health ·
Justin Gonzalez87, my little Theo is already five years old now...
The constant ear infections really kicked off once he started preschool. Our pediatrician finally told us we needed to see an ENT because having an infection every single month just isn't normal—there’s clearly something going on with his ears, throat, and nose that needs looking into.
granitebadger25 actually described the whole thing perfectly. We ended up going through with removing his third tonsil and having tubes put in his eardrums just to keep the canals clear so the fluid could drain out. Once we did that, the ear infections vanished, but... well, we hit a massive snag. During the procedure at the hospital, the poor kid caught a Pseudomonas infection. We're fighting it now, but without surgery, it feels like we're hitting a wall since it's moved into the bone... honestly, we're all losing our minds back at home...

Melissa Cruz2 said:Wouldn't it be better, cheaper, and way healthier to just grab two or three slices of fresh cheese and some bread instead of a shake?
Or maybe a boiled egg and a salad, or... whatever else.

Look, when I was actually using this stuff, it allowed me to go without food for the exact windows prescribed by the diet plan—something I definitely couldn't have done on just bread and cheese, because I would’ve been hit with the shakes, stomach jitters, headaches... the whole nine yards.
The thing is, that shake—since it's basically complete protein nutrition—probably has all those specific components that keep your body running smoothly so you don't end up passing out, which is what Amanda Barrett28 was talking about.
All I know is that with these products, I actually pulled off my goal, something I never managed to do with any other diets.
As for health, I felt great, honestly satisfied, and my digestion actually improved, too. And regarding the money... well, I've wasted a fortune on countless stupid things in my life, but at least this gave me the results I was looking for.
I'm only posting this to share my own experience, which seems to be the only positive one in this thread...
Sure, I had massive willpower and stayed persistent, but I have to admit, the fact that I dropped all that cash on the food was a pretty big motivator, too.
Herbalife thoughts? in Health ·
I actually dropped about 25 pounds in roughly three months back when I did this two years ago.
Look, if you’ve got the grit and can actually stay consistent, losing weight isn't even the hard part—it's just that brutal first week where everything feels impossible. If you can somehow white-knuckle your way through those first seven days, your body eventually just settles into a rhythm and things start moving in the right direction... honestly, out of all the weight I've lost over the last two years, I've only gained back about 4 or 5 pounds, so I’m pretty stoked with those results. But let's be real here, I’m still hitting the gym at least twice a week and watching what I eat, because you can't just check out completely.
For me, this was hands down the most effective way to drop the weight.👍
Weight loss pills: What actually works? in Health ·
I haven't personally messed around with those pills, but common sense tells me you aren't dropping five pounds in five days just by being a normal human being.
Honestly, I think these kinds of products are basically designed to screw over even the healthiest people, and there's a real chance they could leave you dealing with some pretty bizarre health issues.
Most likely, these things contain something that breaks down fat and adipose tissue, sure, but they’re also tearing through your muscle mass and flushing water out of your system... and if you stop to think about where you'll be spending most of your time, it's definitely on the toilet.
It’s the fastest way to absolutely wreck your entire body, tank your immune system, and turn your digestive tract into a total circus.

If you're going to take these supplements, you might as well find a comfortable seat near the bathroom, grab a stack of magazines to pass the time, and I really hope you aren't sensitive to chemicals, because your backside is about to take a serious beating.

Austin Lopez4 said:Has anyone else noticed that a huge chunk of these things don't even list their calorie counts?

Oh, they definitely have them, believe me—some of these are straight-up calorie bombs... you just have to actually bother reading the fine print on the packaging, because it’ll tell you exactly how many calories are in every 100 ml and what the total serving size per container is if you look hard enough.
