Honestly, I don't root for any FC in America, and I don't even bother showing up to games because of the exact kind of scenes and hooligans you see in this movie. It leaves me wondering: Is it actually possible for us to be this primitive? WHY CAN'T SOMEONE JUST CHEER FOR THE OPPOSING TEAM WITHOUT GETTING MASSACRED BY THE HOME CROWD?

Check out a similar vibe—there's this great British film called "The football factory." The whole plot basically revolves around three away trips by Chelsea FC fans where the entire point isn't even watching the game... it's just about brawling with the locals. Pure brutality, as much as you can handle. 😬

Yeah, but it doesn't hit with that same intensity. They mostly use that stuff to coat highway guardrails and some of the newer road signs.😉

Susan Gomez33 said:Alright then, why don't you finally explain the difference—in plain English, just give it to us straight and simple😁

The question is short and sweet... what's the actual difference between natural and lab-made ascorbic acid? We're looking for an answer that's just as direct and precise.

Synthetic stuff glows in the dark—so, where do you think all our streetlights come from? 🙄

🙏 😂

Even vegetarians wouldn't touch watered-down broth. 😬

Isn't it just better to enjoy fresh, wholesome food, clean water, and spend your time out in nature breathing fresh air—rather than stuffing your face with greasy, processed junk while sitting in some smoky cafe surrounded by alcohol, coffee, and cigarettes?
It honestly feels like you don't even know what real quality living looks like.
Besides, I’ll be sure to ask you when you hit 50 exactly how much longer you think you'll actually last.

Look—"good" and "bad" are subjective things that can be viewed from a dozen different angles. Someone could argue that kale or celery is "super healthy," but if the taste is repulsive to me... then it isn't "good." To ME, "GOOD" means eating what tastes great and spending my time in places I actually want to be—consuming whatever I want with whoever I want. Honestly, I couldn't care less whether I live to be 50 or 75, as long as those years are spent eating and doing exactly what I love. No force on this earth is going to make me obsessively count calories, scrutinize ingredients, or track where every leaf was harvested... my vitality isn't going to hinge solely on that—it depends on my genetics and my actual drive to stay active. 😉

And frankly, I've heard enough preaching at Sunday Mass. 😁 😛

Michael Long5 said:Wait, nobody actually watched it? 😢 😢

Well, guess I'll just go hunt down a digital rip then.

Honestly, now I’m starting to seriously doubt if this movie is even worth the effort...

I haven't seen the original, but this isn't really a horror flick—which is weird, since John Carpenter is basically the king of the genre.

It's pretty predictable, though it works okay as a standard thriller—you could probably even draw some parallels to the political mess we're dealing with here in the States. 😬

Oh, and Maria Bello is in it too. 🙂 😁

Look, you're right—plant fibers swell up in your stomach, create volume, and basically trick you into feeling full so you don't overeat. But here's the kicker: whole grain bread actually HAS those fibers, while white bread has absolutely zero. So, what’s the point? There's zero nutritional value—no real energy boost—so why bother eating it just to fill your gut?

Exactly. That white bread is specifically marketed to people who need fewer calories so they don't end up turning all those monosaccharides into fat reserves (aka "not getting fat"). I mean, seriously, do I need to draw you a diagram? Do you need a freaking pie chart to get this? 😵

Bread, pasta, rice, cereal, fruit, veggies, milk, dairy products, sugar—they all have those carbs, but bread and pasta are definitely the biggest culprits. 😛

Basically, I didn't give up anything else.

So, what? Were you just pulling carbohydrates out of thin air?😁

smjeskica said:Look, man—it’s not some mindless argument when people ask "where were you when things went south." I get the point, but if you were just somewhere else while unprovoked fires, rapes, starvation, and genocide were being unleashed on the very city you called home just yesterday, then that's different.
And you have absolutely nothing to say about the thousands slaughtered in that same city? Meanwhile, much bigger artists and much more significant figures across the globe had plenty to say about it.
It just proves you don't actually stand for the things you were singing about until recently.

I disagree, and honestly, I think a lot of people feel the same way—Nellie’s new album is a massive step up. At the same time, I don't agree with Joe churning out these pale, washed-up versions of old stories—but hey, I've said it before: arguing about taste is a losing game.

Besides, the power of Smoking 20 was never really about the vocals—it was always about the lyrics, at least for me... and let's be real, Nellie isn't exactly a powerhouse vocalist.

🙏 🙂

banderas said:Total nonsense. The guy basically replaced Bregovic—he writes the soundtracks for Emir Kusturica's movies and they're constantly touring together as "Emir Kusturica & No Smoking Orchestra," selling out massive arenas all over the globe.
Regarding the "Zabranjeno pušenje" days—the BG version released the album "Ja nisam odavle," which I actually agree is way better than any of those ZG version tracks from "Zabranjeno pušenje." That album got slammed back then for being anti-Mexican, so I definitely wouldn't go along with this supposed spitting on his hometown.

Look, "Ja nisam odavle" is definitely not better than everything the ZG version did—not even close (though maybe it sounds better to you personally)—and it doesn't touch the old stuff the band did before the war. And let's be real, he definitely took plenty of shots at his hometown—banderas, you clearly have no clue.😛

Nellie headed out to Baltimore and rounded up some of his usual Z. P. stuff—meanwhile, Snoop Dogg did the exact same thing over in New York City. Honestly, Nellie went a bit overboard with those folk tunes, but he’s still got some solid tracks in the mix 😉

The absolute nonsense that "ex-DJ" guy tries to pull. Unbelievable.

And honestly? I bet some Country Music track hit him right in the feels, and now he's just too stubborn to admit it. 😉
