Full Moon tonight in Health ·
Honestly, even when I don't realize my cycle is peaking, I start dealing with sleep issues or just feeling a bit on edge. And that Blue Moon effect? You can definitely feel it hitting you a day before, or even lingering for a few days after.😉
Shrek The Third (2007) in Movies ·
Alright, I finally bit the bullet and watched it.🙂
First impressions: honestly, since I was expecting a total train wreck and thought sitting through it would be a chore, I was actually surprised it wasn't half bad.
Objectively speaking, the movie lacks originality and inspiration, and it definitely needed more depth... it’s nowhere near the first one. In my book, it sits right in that mediocre sweet spot, just like the second part.
It's a bummer, though, because I was really looking forward to having some fun with it.

redwalker6 said:To me, the first Shrek was an absolute blast and hilarious.

Shrek is a legend.😍
The second one wasn't quite as great, but it was still funny enough to hit the spot for me.

The sequel actually let me down quite a bit; it was okay, but definitely a step down from the original.😢

From what I hear, the third one doesn't hold a candle to the first or second, though people say it's still decent entertainment.👍.

If it's worse than the second one, we're in serious trouble.🙂
I was really hoping it would be stronger than the sequel, even if it didn't beat the first movie. It’s like how the second Indiana Jones movie felt a bit off, while the third one was actually a masterpiece compared to the start.

Personally, I prefer the original voices. Even though American dubbing isn't terrible, nothing beats hearing Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Mike Myers as Shrek, and Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots.

True, the American dubs aren't the worst, but when the original voice acting is this iconic, it feels wrong to change it.

I picked up a copy of Shrek from a street vendor today, but the audio quality is total garbage.👎 Now I'm stuck—do I suffer through this crappy recording, or wait until I can find a decent version?🤔

That is seriously adorable! 😍

Alex White6 said:I'm sorry if I came off as aggressive. That wasn't my intention. I didn't realize you were an OB-GYN, though I did assume you were in the medical field—my bad.

You aren't bothering me, just throwing me a little loop. We're good.🙂

Glad we cleared that up and moved past the misunderstanding. No hard feelings on my end at all. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Brenda Cooper46 said:this is basically 😳

Look, I only asked because this doesn't match anything I've read about the hymen. It’s supposed to be a thin layer of tissue partially covering the vaginal opening. What I have feels more like a growth inside—I can't tell exactly how deep, maybe a couple of inches in—but based on this picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:V...english%29.jpg, what I'm seeing definitely isn't a hymen.

That's exactly what confused me too.😉
But hey, there's really no need to stress out about it. 🙂

Just take gentlecanyon92's advice and you'll be golden.😁

Alex White6 said:Where exactly did you see aggression? Look, I'm not a med student, so help me out here—how does your take actually align with the medical definition of the hymen?

It’s pretty obvious.
I never once claimed to be a medical student, and you just assumed I was a gynecologist on top of that.🙂

You're saying you didn't claim I was wrong, even though you insisted it definitely wasn't the hymen (using those little emojis that were supposed to mean something, I guess).

Yeah, because based on how the OP described it, it sounded like something inside the vaginal canal. My logic was simple: if it's deep inside, it shouldn't be the hymen.
Maybe I took the "a few centimeters inside" part too literally, but honestly, neither of us knows for sure. Only the girl who started this thread can say. Neither you nor I can play doctor here.🙂

And about the emojis... I like using them. Didn't realize they were such a trigger for anyone. My bad.

Why the hostility?😕 I wasn't saying you were wrong. I was just sharing the sources where I found that info and leaving room for the possibility that I might be mistaken.🙄

I'm just asking a straight question—does this align with what you said?

Also, even in that quote you shared, it says "at the entrance to the restroom," not inside the restroom itself.

gentlecanyon92 said:so I don't get where she actually found it—was it deep inside or just on the surface? Like, how far in...

But based on the description, that cylindrical shape sounds more like a tire rim to me...

Honestly, I'm just as lost as you are.🤔

Alex White6 said:aha. whatever you say. ☕

Alright, my bad. I totally misread that. 😁 My mistake. 😁
So, are you an OB-GYN? 🙂
Cervical polyp or something else? in Women's Health ·
gentlecanyon92 said:Wouldn't that just be the hymen? 😁

I’m confused about the timing—is it right at the entrance, or does it happen after they're already in? 😁

But yeah, it’s most likely the hymen. 🤣

Just look up a diagram on Wikipedia to see what the hymen actually looks like.😉

Alex White6 said:I really hope you aren't a gynecologist.🙂

Not even close.🙂 Read the post more carefully.😁

Hey, does anyone know what she actually means by that? I’m totally lost.🙂
Cervical polyp or something else? in Women's Health ·
Look, maybe it turns out to be a cervical polyp 😬, but there's no way it's the hymen 😛 😁

That’s why I said we can't really know for sure without more info. 😉
Cervical polyp or something else? in Women's Health ·
If you’re going to laugh when you don't know the answer, at least do some homework first to figure out what a hymen actually 🙂is.

And honestly, if what you felt was just the cervix🤔, then there’s really nothing else to it.🤔

Someone more of an expert please correct me if I'm wrong—this is just what I remember from anatomy class, and that was a long time ago, plus I wasn't exactly a straight-A student back then.😁
Headaches after washing my hair? in Health ·
So I guess it's not smart for me either, since I usually rush straight out the door right after washing and drying my hair.😳
Dry skin issues in Health ·
I honestly don't buy the idea that how much water you drink dictates your skin quality (unless you're basically living in a desert without a single drop).
Look, I chug water all day long, yet my skin is still bone-dry.🙄
What actually works for me is using an exfoliant paired with a lightweight oil—something way thinner than those heavy oils everyone uses. It doesn't leave me feeling greasy; it just leaves my skin looking naturally hydrated.🙂It’s packed with citrus essential oils, which I think is the secret sauce. You should definitely try something similar; it might do the trick for you.

Also, I’m convinced the real culprit behind dry skin is hard water. 👎At least, that's what I've figured out. Whenever I travel somewhere with soft water, my skin issues just vanish.

Angela Wright said:Good grief, this is absolutely insane😲 🙂

Well, here’s another reason to find some silver lining in life's messes. At least my eyesight is working perfectly fine😍

And now you’re coming at us visually impaired folks just to make us feel bad about ourselves? Real classy.🙂 😉 😁

I'm sitting at a -5.25 in one eye, and I'm pretty sure the other is around -4.50.🤔
I need to hit up the eye doctor soon, so I'll probably end up needing even stronger lenses.🙂 😬 🙄

Larry Lewis2 said:Maybe feeling this way is just a side effect of moving forward, and getting worked up about it is actually a sign that there's still some personal growth left to do?🙂

It’s possible. Maybe it just opened up spontaneously and he wasn't mentally prepared for it yet. He probably needs more time to build that foundation. I'm not even sure how old he is—is he still pretty young or what?🤔

If they’re young, it makes total sense that they feel that way. Honestly, I thought I was going to lose my mind trying to process everyone else's emotions. 🙄

Honestly, I wish I could tell you exactly what did the trick, but I really don't know.

I’m not sure who suggested pulling back from people, but if you mean distancing yourself from the ones who drain you most—rather than cutting everyone off entirely—then that’s my best advice. Honestly, that was a game-changer for me. Use that space to focus on yourself. It always pays off in the end.🙂
Look, there's no need to get all dramatic about it. It can actually be a pretty great feeling when you finally find that rhythm and everything just clicks into place.
I know, I didn't really help much.🙄
Movie theater pauses: Yay or nay? in Movies ·
Against because I don't even pause when I'm watching a movie at home, so I don't see why I'd need an intermission at the theater. That would honestly just annoy me.🥳
Something feels off with my new glasses... in Health ·
I was having such a hard time walking down stairs lately. It felt like they were suddenly way closer than they actually were, and I honestly thought I was going to wipe out.😬
But look, it’s just part of the adjustment process.😁
You'll get through this.😉
