ON TOPIC: Let's not forget that you need enough sleep, otherwise all the working out in the world won't do much for you in the long run. You also have to watch what you eat and keep it high quality.
True, but if someone isn't feeling the whole Khatu pranam thing, they can just pick up any other light exercise. 😉 I'm with you on the sleep part.👍 But it’s not just about getting enough hours; you really need to hit that window when your body naturally craves it—roughly between midnight and 4 AM. That’s the sweet spot where your body actually recovers best. At least, that's how I was taught. Ideally, you'd be hitting the hay by 11 PM... then waking up wouldn't feel like such a chore. 🤔Thinking back, that's exactly how I did it during my school years. I could roll out of bed at 5 AM feeling totally energized and ready to go. Nowadays... it doesn't work quite like that anymore.🙄

👍 But honestly, any kind of workout helps wake you up since it gets the blood pumping.😍
How can you be farsighted when you have a nearsighted prescription? 🤔 If I understood you right, you mentioned your eye exam results earlier and they were all negatives. 🤔
If you're in the minus range, you're actually nearsighted (maybe with astigmatism)—farsightedness is the plus side.
I wonder why my doctor never used those drops on me?🙂 I'll just ask her next time I head in for a checkup.😁 😬
p.s. My sister actually had her pupils dilated once, but she was totally fine by the next day. She just wore sunglasses that first day to deal with the light, so it wasn't even an issue.👍
Honestly, that’s kind of a joke. It’s hardly a guarantee. I mean, think about it—how many straight people have been infected with HIV, yet their blood would be accepted without a second thought? Their whole approach is a bit naive.🙄
I honestly can't believe they actually ban that🤔... ...I mean, they’re already running every essential screening possible on all donated blood anyway. 🙄
Johnson & Johnson Vision lenses are solid👍...I wore some of theirs for about two months.. but now I’ve switched to Biomedics and they are honestly a total game changer. I never get that dry eye feeling with these, which used to be a huge issue for me...that's actually why I couldn't stick with the old ones for even a full year.🙄
Look, there’s a huge difference between a quick rinse and a full bath. I definitely think a daily shower is a must. I always hit the shower at night because I can't drift off unless I feel clean... then in the morning, I'll splash some cooler water on myself to snap out of the fog. It feels amazing. 👍 You really get your blood pumping. 😍 During the summer? I might even hop in a few times a day. Just don't go overboard with heavy soaps or using way too much body wash, otherwise you'll end up with skin as dry as a desert.
I always eat breakfast since I’m an early riser, so it just makes sense to fuel up... though it varies. Lately, I’ve been loving some whole grain bread—you know, that dense, unleavened stuff—with a savory spread, mostly just cheese. Sometimes I go with cornflakes, but always the plain kind, nothing with added sugar or any of that junk. My nutritionist actually told me that muesli, especially the sweet varieties, isn't really necessary for the average person because it's packed with calories you won't burn off during the day. That stuff is meant for athletes or people working manual labor jobs.😬 Occasionally I'll have some plain toast, but it doesn't keep me full for long; I get hungry again almost immediately... and sometimes a salty bagel😍...but that’s definitely not healthy, so I rarely do it. Usually, I'll snack on half an orange or a kiwi first, then wash it down with a cup of instant coffee... though I'm planning to cut the coffee out soon. It just doesn't sit right with me; it makes me feel sluggish and gives me a bit of an upset stomach. 🙄
...Nah, I’m not exactly a culinary genius when it comes to breakfast...🙄
Eric Brown3 said:I noticed someone replied about jasmine tea.. honestly, I know there’s definitely pure stuff out there—like what you get from Twings in those little boxes—but I haven't been able to find any available here locally😢 so that's why I'm asking... I already have green tea with jasmine... and Jade Pearls😍
There is pure jasmine out there too,😍 so now I really need to go hunt some down.🙂 I've only ever stumbled upon blends until now, which is why I figured pure jasmine was impossible to find... oh man.. time to start my search!👋
Phepheronca said:Oh, great info! Just one more thing—are that Himalayan Ganesh and the jasmine, ginger, and cranberry blends strong teas? Like green tea? I really hope they aren't bitter... 😲 I was reading about sage the other day and apparently it's so potent you shouldn't drink much of it, maybe just use it as a mouthwash. Anyway, gotta be careful with that stuff. By the way, do you strain your tea through a sieve or just use one of those metal infuser balls?
Personally, I find the ginger and jasmine blend super smooth. It’s healthy, boosts circulation, and feels really refreshing. Ganesh is definitely a stronger tea, but the flavor is great... though I might not be the best judge since I'll happily sip any green tea. As for the cranberry, it's pretty mild, so you should be able to drink it without any issues. As for sage, nobody actually drinks it, and honestly, I can't even stand using it as a mouthwash... it makes me feel a bit nauseous.😁 I use a metal infuser ball.😍 You should grab one too; it saves you all the hassle of straining. They aren't expensive, probably won't cost you more than a couple of bucks at a place like Target. 👍
I totally agree with what Terry Hernandez6 said about Twings teas. I actually stumbled upon that exact collection she mentioned recently at a local cafe and they are wonderful. Someone asked if there's a pure jasmine tea... I don't think so, it's usually based on green or black tea. In my opinion, the green tea base is much better and lighter—it has a really natural jasmine scent, whereas the black tea base kind of overpowers it and makes it heavy.
I am a total tea fanatic😍 I always drink mine plain because anything else just ruins the flavor—I really want to taste what's actually in the cup. The only exception is during the summer when I can handle iced tea, and even then, only if it's sweetened with brown sugar.👍 No lemon or anything else for me. You know, I didn't used to be much of a tea drinker, but eventually, the craving just hit me naturally and now I love it. There are so many incredible varieties out there; once you dive in, you realize just how much enjoyment you can find.🙂 I strictly stick to loose-leaf tea. The quality is miles ahead of the bagged stuff, and it adds this whole new dimension to the experience—it becomes a little ritual.😍 If you’re stuck using tea bags and think green tea tastes gross, the best version is Lipton(or whatever the name is on those premium boxes🤔, you know what I mean? Those fancy bags are okay, but if you find their loose-leaf version, grab it immediately because it's amazing. That standard bagged green tea just doesn't have the punch it should. My two absolute favorites are Himalayan Ganesh and jasmine tea... mostly because of the aroma and the taste. Ginger is wonderful, cranberry is great too... honestly, almost any tea works for me (except sage😬).😍
P.S. I never squeeze lemon into hot tea because the heat kills off all the vitamins.🙂

Do I know you? 🤔
William Gonzalez3 said:don't go thinking anyone is judging you for it..
and is it really something worth judging? 😕
William Gonzalez3 said:we're just trying to suggest you take a closer look at what you're actually doing and think about why he perceives it as flirting.
Then that sounds like his issue... honestly, it feels a bit like "wishful thinking" on his part. 😉 it's not my personal problem, don't worry🙂 The whole thing was just an example of how some people take things way too literally, completely ignoring everything we know about non-verbal communication. It's not just body language; there's a massive amount of context to consider, which is what I was getting at.
