Milky Way said:Look, I actually put in the work and read up on everything there is to know about creatine online. I didn't say anything wrong. Creatine is basically a catalyst. On its own, it’s not going to do squat. But when you pair it with protein and actual training? It works. Period.

Have you even ever taken it?

Creatine is great for beginners, or people who haven't been hitting the gym for very long.
It isn't some magic pill, but it's a solid motivator because if you take it right, you'll see progress.
Not miracle gains, just enough to keep you going.
And you don't even need extra protein to make it work.

Look, I don't know what they're on. But they have no definition. They just look rubbery. You only look like that if you've pumped up a ton of muscle in a really short amount of time.
What else would it be if not creatine? And those aren't even real muscles. If you want quality muscle, you actually have to put in the work.

maybe you should go read a book about how creatine actually works... then you wouldn't be spewing this garbage

creatine isn't some "magic potion" that suddenly grants you massive amounts of muscle
even if you dump "tons" of it into your system🙄

Matthew Sullivan32 said:It’s winter, sure, but for those first few minutes? Forget about it. It’s physically impossible to feel the chill because you’re moving too fast and the body heat takes over. My girlfriend and I actually head out past the tree line all the time—we aren't idiots, obviously, we wear gloves, scarves, leggings 😁 and beanies.

This is basically the ultimate way to toughen up your immune system
and get your circulation
moving.

I honestly can't believe it, but I can't even last 15 minutes on that machine; if I ride 10 minutes forward and 5 minutes backward, I'm dead.😢

Look, I already told you this, 😳
you just have to stick with it. It’s brutal at first.
...but you'll notice your stamina picking up before you know it.

The trick is that it's basically like running. With that resistance dial, you're essentially doing those uphill sprints and interval training.
Harder-easier.
And going in reverse actually feels a bit easier.
It’s not a bad idea to push through when it's tough, even doing the reverse part—the main thing is just to keep moving.

Though, if you ask me, nothing beats actual outdoor running.
(Even if an Orbitrack is way safer for your joints)
...but let's be real, it's way too freezing outside for that right now.
..plus, having this beast sitting right there in your living room makes it impossible to skip...

I’ve set aside some time to work out during the news (which I watch every night anyway while lounging on the couch 😢 ), so it'll be about 30 minutes daily.
I want to know what to expect—basically, what kind of physical changes have you guys noticed after about 3 months of working out? (Like, did muscles get stronger, better endurance, improved circulation, less body fat, or a firmer butt/stomach, etc.?)

Look, yeah, I forgot to mention that part, but you figured it out yourself, 🙂 didn't you?
Watching TV while using the Orbitrack = awesome, because the time flies by way faster.
You just have to make sure you don't get too sucked into the show and lose your rhythm.

If you stay consistent (without making 😁 excuses), three months is actually a pretty solid window...

- Your endurance will go up.
(You'll notice you can push yourself harder and longer.)

- Leg muscles firm up, and your butt does too.
- Maybe a bit less stomach.

- You'll "replace" fat deposits with firmer muscle, so basically, you'll lean out.

And yeah, don't obsess over the numbers on the scale when it comes to losing weight.
Muscle is denser than fat.
The number might stay exactly the same, but you'll feel better, firmer, and more toned.
And ultimately, way more satisfied.

Look, there’s no point in overthinking this.

I’d say you need at least a baseline of three times a week, for about 20 to 30 minutes per session.

But honestly? Ideally, you should be doing 30 minutes every single day.
If you do that, you’re guaranteed to see results.

There’s that little adjustment wheel where you can toggle between harder or easier levels,
so just dial it in however works for you.

Bottom line: listen to your body.
You don't need to absolutely wreck yourself every time, but if you actually want to see progress, you can't go dragging your feet with a pace that's too easy.

How to stop biting your nails? in Health ·
I am a recovering chronic nail biter, officially one year clean.

Basically, my folks were absolutely fed up with me chewing on my nails and cuticles (usually until they bled), so they offered me $33a deal if I’d just quit.
..Since I was completely broke at the time, I told them—fine, deal!

...BUT—they added a condition—if I ever relapsed, I’d have to pay back those $33dollars! 😁

...And since there is zero chance I’m $33handing any money back, there is no way I'm starting to bite again. 😁 😁

I sold my soul for a few measly $33bucks! 🙂 😂

Good call. 👍

By the way, I've always heard people split on this one.
Nobody seems to think it's just "okay."

...It was either a total masterpiece or complete garbage.
...There was no middle ground for anyone.

Personally? I love it.

Creatine (Crea Pure) in Health ·
nimblehound11 said:Trust me, I did the exact same thing. I used some Creatine, think it was Twinlab or something similar. I know for sure it had the Creatine label on a white tub. Paid about $30 for 300 grams.

Then the Creatine itself isn't the issue.
Actually, seeing a Creatine or UltraPure label is basically a guarantee of quality...
And the price point makes sense too.

...so I don't get it. Were you even drinking enough water while taking it?
...you need to be drinking way more than usual...

What’s the doctor saying?
Creatine (Crea Pure) in Health ·
First off... how exactly were you dosing that Creatine?

Dosages have to be strictly calculated based on an individual's body weight...
...there’s actually a specific formula you should be using to figure out your own personalized dose.

Plus, when you're taking Creatine, there are three distinct phases you need to follow.
The loading phase, the maintenance phase, and the depletion phase.
The amounts you take during loading are totally different from what you take during maintenance.

...Second... who was the manufacturer of that Creatine?
...tons of brands put out cheap Creatine that is absolutely loaded with impurities.
...pure, high-quality, lab-tested Creatine costs a lot more, but trust me, IT'S WORTH IT... both for your health and your actual results.

Third... while you're actually taking it, you need to stick to some ground rules.
Take it on an empty stomach (mixed with juice or honey), meaning at least half an hour before a meal. No coffee, and definitely no alcohol...

I am actually shaking😱

Absolutely horrific😲 😲 😲

..I mean, how are those people even coping right now?
...all the potential lawsuits and sympathy in the world won't fix this😢

...they said on the radio that they're probably looking at a volunteer blood donor who was recently infected with HIV, since the initial tests didn't catch it
...and the incubation period is about three weeks

Damn😢
My heart goes out to those patients; they did nothing wrong

William Castillo19 said:Yeah... but why would they play like him! Why on earth would he try to play like them!? It’s ridiculous! How can you even claim I can't? Steve Vai isn't going to play like Brian May! What does that even have to do with anything! That is such childish logic. Honestly, this forum is starting to drive me insane with all this "this is the best" and "that is the worst" nonsense! Don't people get that there's no such thing as absolute best or worst?

Castillo, he wasn't trying to crown someone "the best"... he was just making a comparison to show how good Vai actually is 😉
