Megan Wright9,
Look, if you’re thinking it sounds like hemorrhoids, then we aren't even talking about the same thing. What I had was barely even there—just this tiny, super shallow little slit. Almost invisible, really.

Are you actually sure it's nothing to worry about? Because honestly, it sounds way more serious than that. Don't just mess around with this... seriously, go see ANY gynecologist, okay? Just get a professional opinion. It's starting to bug me.

Megan Wright9 said:Still haven't dealt with it. My head is still spinning... honestly, I just feel like passing out.
So, I’m in the bathroom this morning, you know, just doing my business, and suddenly—bam. It felt like someone took a freaking scalpel to me. Like, seriously, a surgical blade right there. Anyone else ever deal with that kind of sharp, localized agony out of nowhere? Just... absolute madness. 🙂
So, I finally bit the bullet and picked up some hemorrhoid cream. We'll see how it goes, I guess... honestly, it’s hard to imagine it making things any worse, even if it ends up being a total dud.
Anyway, regarding the OB-GYN situation... I’d probably just settle for some advice over the phone. I mean, there's no way they could actually examine me, right? 😕

So, you asking if he’s more like what I described... or if he’s actually even more intense than that? Honestly, who knows? Sometimes things are just way heavier than you expect them to be when you're sitting there picturing it. Is he going full throttle or just hitting those levels I mentioned? Hard to say, right?

Watch out with that hemorrhoid cream, seriously. There's a chance it might mess with your natural flora down there... I mean, I don't actually know if that stuff would have a bad effect on that area or not. Maybe do some digging first? Personally, I wouldn't put anything on myself until I’d had a real talk with my OB-GYN. Just call the substitute doctor and get an appointment lined up. Tell them exactly what’s going on—and if you can't or won't explain it over the phone, just insist on coming in. Honestly, it's better to just have someone give you a physical exam and chat about it in person where it's private.

Quick, get that phone in your hands. 🙂

See, for me, it wasn't even about sex... it was actually from hair removal. Just pulling that thin layer of skin around my lips too hard. It only happened because I had no clue what I was doing back then, you know? And it wasn't like anything bloody or intense, just those tiny little slits where the skin stretched too far.

So, I'm guessing it's basically the same thing—just the skin cracking easily—but for Megan Wright9, it happened in more spots and maybe even went a bit deeper? Am I getting that right?
It’s really not a huge deal.

Megan Wright9, right?
Let us know how you end up fixing it.

Kenneth Hernandez67 said:Man, what kind of gynecologist charges an annual fee like they’re the only clinic in town?

It’s probably just a yeast infection, but yeah, go see the doctor, obviously.

But did you actually read what she wrote?
Megan Wright9 said:My skin cracked in 3 or 4 spots around my vagina and uuuuuuugh, it HURTS so bad. 🙂

So, it’s not a yeast infection. Her skin literally cracked. It hurts—it’s not itchy, it *hurts*... and this is actually happening...
Don't tell me you've never had skin cracking before 😁 (and I don't mean from giving birth)

Has anyone dealt with this before? Like, what am I supposed to do?
Should I just grab something at a drugstore? Or what?
I'm currently on my period...
I feel like I just gave birth to... twins!!!!
Please help meeeee

Good grief 😕 ... man, what caused it?? Was it rough sex?

I don't know... what can you even do? For me, sometimes when I was hair removing, I’d accidentally nick that thin little layer of skin around the outer lips, you know? It would crack slightly, almost like a tiny paper cut. It stung a bit whenever I washed, but it usually healed up in maybe 2 or 3 days and was good as new.
hiddenviper9 said:Amy Martinez5: well, my blood pressure isn't even high

Michael Jones23: not in my case, it’s not linked to that—I’ve never dealt with high blood pressure!

hiddenviper9:
Blood pressure fluctuates, you know? It shifts all day and night based on a million different internal and external factors. Those swings are just the body kicking in its own mechanisms to keep things flowing right depending on what's happening around you.
And those spikes can be short-lived... stuff that happens even to the healthiest people out there.

Look, I get where you're coming from, really. But I don't deal with those kinds of swings, nor am I prone to them. At least nothing drastic enough to make me feel seriously jittery or stressed out.

hiddenviper9 said:Anyway, don't feel like you have to explain it to me; what meditation actually does for us—I mean, it's enough to tell you I was already printing books on self-healing back in '89—and two more books were published in the States in '99, one of which was even translated into German and Dutch.

so why didn't you just say so? I just wanted to let the folks who aren't up on this (the "modern scientists") know that how meditation helps lower blood pressure has been common knowledge for ages!
hiddenviper9 said:Look, nobody here actually mentioned having high blood pressure!

I guess we’re just not on the same page here.

Because, more often than not, that "weird" heart palpitation thing is tied directly to blood pressure shifts—whether it's spiking or dropping—which triggers anxiety, which then leads to all that mental stress that can eventually turn into a chronic issue.

In my case, there's no connection. I've never dealt with high blood pressure!
Maybe it was slightly elevated at the time, but honestly, it was negligible. It didn't even hit the threshold for being considered high.

Like you, me, and everyone else... we all need meditation. Not specifically for blood pressure, just generally to feel better and stay healthy.
Transcribed from:

- "It's still not entirely clear how meditation actually helps lower high blood pressure, but scientists suspect it might have a positive effect on thinning out the blood vessels."

Honestly, I’d tell anyone looking into this to just go grab a copy of "The Relaxation Response" by Herbert Benson. Once you read it, you'll finally get the full picture of how meditation actually works to bring that blood pressure down.

Really solid read. 👍
hiddenviper9 said:Here’s your miracle cure:

Look, nobody here actually said they have high blood pressure!
I mean, seriously, my pressure is actually on the low side.

And as for meditation? That’s common knowledge at this point. Sure, you can just meditate away any health issue you want.

Obviously, it’s not that easy in practice. I’d be thrilled if doctors actually prescribed meditation and taught us how to do it in hospitals instead!
That's happened to me before, too. And usually, just like what chocogirl35b was saying: if I hit some sudden shock, an intense burst of stress, or just general anxiety (basically just dealing with 😁 at work)...
I actually went to see my doctor once. They sent me off for thyroid tests and bloodwork—looking for those hormone levels, probably... everything came back totally fine! 👍

The doc just prescribed some Xanax for the nerves, but I didn't touch them after reading through all the side effects... 🙂 ...I figured I’d just be creating a whole new set of problems for myself...

So yeah... it’s been a long time since I felt that heart-pounding sensation, maybe just once after that doctor visit.

If you ask me, it's all purely psychological. That's just how it is. 👋

Joshua Jones13 said:So, I was thinking about this earlier... why exactly do people act like you have to wait until the ball drops on New Year's Eve just to switch up your doctor? Like, is there some secret rule in the medical handbook that says you’re stuck with whoever you picked last year unless the calendar flips? Seriously, if your current doc isn't vibing with you—or if they just aren't getting the job done—why sit around waiting for January? It's not like health follows a seasonal schedule. You don't suddenly get sick only when the snow starts falling, right? So why should changing your provider be any different? Just feels like unnecessary waiting for no real reason. 🤔

Oh, for sure. I mean, you can switch doctors whenever the hell you want. It’s your life, right? If the vibe is off or they aren't actually listening to what you're saying, why stay? You don't owe anyone your health just because of some sense of loyalty. You just find someone else who actually gets it. Simple as that.
You’re totally out of the loop, man... honestly, everyone was talking about that big-time. Seriously.

Man, you better swap that guy out fast tomorrow... seriously.

I’ve actually been in to see them myself—they’re incredible at figuring out what's wrong with you, and honestly, I've been feeling way better since I started using their stuff. They have locations on Draskovic and also over on Field Road.

Can you drop the full address and a phone number? thanks

Seriously, same. I need someone to just... yank me back into shape. I feel like I’m constantly curling inward and tensing up. My neck, my back—everything is just raw. Especially the neck.

Does anyone know if a deep tissue massage actually helps with this stuff?

Mark Hill3 said:Post: Thu Jun 02, 2:46 pm Subject: Liver stuff So... liver issues. Anyone else dealing with this? Just feeling kind of off lately. Not sure if it's diet, stress, or just bad luck. Is it even worth worrying about? Or am I just overthinking things?
I've heard people talking about that old-school "cure"—you know, the whole yogurt and garlic concoction... haven't actually given it a shot myself yet though.

Anyone else dealing with this... or has anyone actually tried any meds for it?
Liver "cleanses"? Seriously? Give me a break.

So, here's your go-to natural remedy for liver health: http://www.cro-web.com/zdravlje/index1.php3?newsid=213
So, apparently this stuff is supposed to help with liver issues? Is that what the label says? Honestly, I’ve seen so many of these claims floating around online lately... just one after another. Does anyone actually know if there's any truth to it, or is it just more marketing hype? Anyone here ever tried something similar for liver health?

Megan Reed said:So, basically, if you get started right on day one of your cycle, you should be good to go. But if you’re starting anytime between day two and day five? Yeah, you definitely need to use some extra protection for that first week. Just to be safe, you know?

I can't really make sense of that link you dropped. It looks like some broken URL from a medical site over in Europe or something? Probably a dead end if you're looking for actual info. If you were trying to find stuff on how to track blood work or whatever clinical nonsense was on that page, just hit me up with the actual topic. I don't do much with broken links—too much wasted effort, right? Just tell me what you're actually hunting for and we'll go from there. Simple as that.

I mean, I don't think you're totally hitting the mark here. Like, if she just started taking them for the first time? You have to give it some time before those pills actually kick in and do their thing. For instance, when I first started on Diane, it took me like... what, three months? Yeah, about three months before I really felt anything.

So... I’m just sitting here wondering if you guys even feel safe at all. Like, seriously? Is there even any actual protection in place? Honestly, I'm not convinced for a second.
Look, you absolutely have to ask about it or at least read the fine print... because let me tell you, not all these pills are created equal. Seriously.

Are you kidding me? It tastes so good, though. 😁

Btw, if anyone actually knows why this happens, let me know? My doctor—one of those ones you go to for bloodwork...—told me she doesn't know the exact science behind it, just that it's been proven. Hm.

If I were you, I’d grab that doctor's office number (or have your brother give her a quick call personally) and just ring her up. Ask her to explain what's actually going on here. Come on, will you call her? Please?? Pretty please?!! 😍
