Forgot to mention, I’m definitely a tuna girl myself—sometimes I toss in some cream, or even the thickest, greasiest mayo you can find on the shelf 😁 (honestly, that "light" crap is just depressing), though I try to steer clear of hard cheeses... well, maybe not entirely.

If Bill Clinton’s health issues are what happens when you eat "wrong," then I’m basically a walking corpse at this point.

God, I really am the undisputed queen of junk food...

I wouldn't call it fast food, per se, but the stuff I do eat is loaded with everything. I try to watch my portions, but let's be real—even my "small" servings are bigger than a meal at Burger King.
Melissa Cruz2 said:and hey Betty Rivera14, you might wanna ditch the mozzarella 😢 and those hot dogs.
maybe I’ve been a little too "relaxed" lately... 😁

not that I have tons to cut out—I actually watch what I eat—but clearly something's off because even with running and keeping my carbs pretty tight, the scale is still creeping up. 😢
plus, life's just been a total grind... I've been under insane pressure for like two years straight now.

It feels weird to me that it's all just diet, especially when we're talking a bit of cheese and some hot dogs. I mean, I check every single box for high cholesterol—living with another metabolic issue for ages—and I eat way, WAY heavier than you do, yet my cholesterol stays perfectly, absolutely normal.

(I'm knocking back half a liter of yogurt every day, eating meat daily, haven't quit pork, and yeah, I grab bacon every now and then)

Or maybe there's just some pig next door she's been fighting with over the property line, and she'd be thrilled to finally take it out...

wearyowl29 said:Yeah, sure, easy enough... except first you gotta squeeze the Cow in if she's bigger than the clover patch, so maybe a few days on Atkinson's diet... gotta prep the well and everything while you're at it... etc...

Poor little Cow would probably end up with some nasty indigestion from all that heavy meat on Atkinson's plan...

Honestly, I'd just put her on that UN diet—I think there's a breakdown somewhere online...

That magic soup thing won't work though, she'd just get way too bloated. At least, that's my guess for the Cow...

So, a few weeks back my mother-in-law calls me up—totally sounding all official and serious—and goes, "The neighbor's heifer broke her leg," and then just hangs up.

Now I'm sitting here completely baffled, trying to wrap my head around what that even meant...

🤔 "Well, we should probably take her to the vet," I tell her.

Then she drops the bomb—she’s gonna slaughter the thing, and she wanted to see if I wanted in on a portion of the meat to stick in my freezer... 😁

Anyway, I haven't even seen a hint of retinopathy or cataracts yet, nothing like that, but my vision is definitely getting blurry... eyes are always watering, things go dark for a second, and man, my night vision is just shot...

Nah, you probably won't even get r. 🙄 , you'd have to be dealing with some seriously messed up stuff over several years before you actually get stuck with that.
If your tear ducts are actually acting up, maybe ask if they can just give you some fake tear drops or something.

Supposedly—though I don't have any firsthand intel on this—yoga is supposed to help with the kind of strain and eye fatigue you're talking about.

I've had a prescription for both eyes (about a 20/40) since '88, plus a few tiny spots on my retina here and there, but they've been stable for ages now...

So, let me get this straight... it pulls heavy metals and grease right out through the pores in your feet? It stabilizes blood sugar, fixes your blood pressure, and cures random ailments? Throw in the ability to brew a decent cup of coffee and guarantee I'll spend the night with Nives celzijus, and I am buying it in a heartbeat. Honestly...😉

😂

I was honestly just waiting for you to chime in... 🤣
Look, don't get your panties in a bunch.

I mean, seriously—you're telling me you wouldn't even put your name on a waiting list for a transplant from a deceased donor if you were facing organ failure? Fine. Whatever. That's your call...

Me? I’d be right there on that list.
Betty Hill82 said:"Waiting for an organ" is just the politically correct way of saying "waiting for someone to kick the bucket so they can harvest their parts and give them to me." Honestly, just kill me now (and feel free to split up my organs 😁), but I don't see anything remotely humane about that whole setup.

but people die regardless...

It’s actually more humane to take a kidney from a cadaver than from a living donor—I mean, taking it from a living person is a massive health risk for the donor, right?

btw, those transplants in India you were talking about—they use living donors there; people literally sell off a kidney for cash. 😢

If I'm reading you right, you wouldn't even agree to a transplant because being on a waiting list feels inhumane? Are you really sure you'd be happier spending three weeks on dialysis if your kidneys suddenly quit on you and there isn't a living donor available (unless maybe in India 😉)?

:-) said:Look, I’m just throwing out an opinion here, not some airtight argument. That's just how I feel—I'm saying it's possible. It doesn't mean it's actually happening. There have been movies made about this kind of stuff, and honestly, I think we need more oversight because the potential for abuse is just too high.

Man, please don't just talk out of your ass like that. Sure, there are movies about this kind of thing, but you can't just claim that "organ harvesting during autopsies" is just happening all over the US without any proof...
:-) said:I haven't actually heard or seen anything myself, but honestly... I'm just making an educated guess based on the usual "moral high ground" nonsense you see in our healthcare system.

Maybe try actually looking into things or verifying the facts before you start "concluding" stuff without any real arguments behind it?

Melissa Cruz2 said:Healthcare costs a fortune regardless of how much money you actually have... we spent way too long treating everything like it was totally free back in the day, and now the whole system is just completely screwed.

I mean, honestly, we’re already paying for this stuff right now anyway. Just take a good look at your paystub and do the math—calculate how much they're stripping away from your check every single month versus what you actually see in your pocket...

And don't even get me started on the whole under-the-table economy and all that mess...

It’s not present tense, it’s perfective.

Look, a little while back, I actually volunteered to be the guinea pig for some scientific study on how a cellular nutrition program affects your buddy Mac... you know...
We went through all the motions—set up a committee, picked a chairman, found a treasurer. We even scouted out a venue!
And then? Absolute nothing. Zilch. Total bust.

Man, that would never fly around here—he’s way too spooked by stuff like that.

Just total idiots, honestly... that's all there is to it.
