Check out Funky Fish on Broadway—somewhere around 42nd Street—or maybe try Profile over on 5th.
I need that thing—the one drivers keep in their cabs
I’m looking for a personalized vanity plate—the kind you see on those long-haul rigs. Does anyone know where I can buy one or get one custom-made in the city?

Does anyone know if this has been released on DVD here in the States?
For me, the best one is "Message!"

Look, they were part of an experiment. Basically, three families from rural towns swapped their kids with the children of professors—the theory being that farm kids are physically hardier, so if you drop them into academic households with top-tier education, you end up creating some kind of superman. When the twins were born, they went through the same swap: one stayed with her biological mother (the farmer), while the other ended up in the professor's family. Once they grew up and realized what happened, they tracked down the truth and decided to get even.
Fair warning: the book handles all this much better—it’s a tense, gripping thriller—whereas the movie barely scratches the surface.

She basically became an agent out of sheer boredom. She was just finishing up her degree when some recruiter approached her with a job offer—she passed their tests, and suddenly she’s an intern-agent. Because, you know, she’s still a student.
I finally gave up on the show because the logic is non-existent. Look, I get it, it’s TV, whatever—but the idea that a woman comes out of a brawl with a gorilla without a single scratch? Yeah, right 🙄 . And her friends are unbelievably dim if they actually buy into this plot point where she has to drop everything at any hour just for some part-time gig at a bank.

"River Nile 2"

I’d been reading the book—which is actually quite excellent—so I was curious to see how the movie held up. It didn't work. They completely missed the mark; you finish the film without having any real grasp of why those women were even doing what they were doing.
The only redeeming quality is that scene where Cassell is fighting off those punks.

It’s not a bad setup... if things keep moving this way, it might actually be entertaining.

Given how many people worked on this thing, you’d think it could have turned out better. Honestly—the first two acts were just pure boredom. The only moment I actually found myself laughing was when Banderas makes his comeback and catches up with Tim and the kids in that whole sequence.

I think the movie is brilliant—the whole concept is just completely wild and off the rails. Between the editing happening on the 7th floor and that boss who’s convinced his speech is slurred even though his secretary is actually the one losing it... and then, of course, there's the Malkovich scene. 😁
The soundtrack is top-tier.
