G. Gershon is incredibly sexy...🙏 🙏 🙏
As for the movie, I saw it ages ago—though, unfortunately, not in its entirety. If it ever airs on TV again, I might give it another look..

Do I enjoy those mindless romantic comedies? 😍 😬Maybe.

Me too...😎

Even in this mess, one finds a few decent movies...
Come on, admit it. Didn't you shed a tear just a few days ago watching 10 Things I Hate About You when they were pelting Drew with eggs...😉
@Roger Allen3 - watched Luke Skywalker on my cousin's computer the other day... poor guy, couldn't even leave the house for a year...

I find myself in total agreement regarding this film...
In a sea of mediocre teen rom-coms, this one stands out as actually decent—even quite entertaining, if you have the patience for it...
Someone mentioned Clueless, which remains my absolute favorite from that genre...😍

Ashley Chase92 said:Those idiots at the local news networks could at least bother to mention when new episodes are airing, rather than letting people assume they're just reruns like everything else.

Exactly. I was convinced they were reruns, but decided to tune in anyway out of pure boredom...
Turns out they were new episodes after all. Who knew?

Season 4 has arrived...
I can't say the premiere left much to be desired, though I suppose we'll see how it unfolds. It's early days, after all.
The chemistry between Bristow and Vaughn seems to have faded somewhat.☕...

A director who can unite such disparate personalities in a foreign setting with that level of brilliance and elegance? And she followed it up by filming two consecutive projects with Giovanni Ribisi? That alone should be enough to settle the debate. 👍

Seeing this thread title, she was the first one that came to mind. The woman responsible for one of my all-time favorite films. Who else could it be? The Virgin Suicides. Is there anything more hauntingly beautiful?Even if most people will inevitably bring it up first. Lost in Translation. Is anyone actually listening? It didn't leave nearly as much of an impression on me as the former. Beautiful, gentle, a fairy-tale atmosphere paired with the most exquisite soundtrack imaginable. A pure cinematic treat, really. Why bother with anything else?🙏 🙏 🙏 I said it myself: if a woman follows up a masterpiece with total garbage, she’ll still be royalty in my eyes. Not that I'm calling Lost in Translation trash—far from it. Or Marie Antoinette, which I actually haven't seen yet. I'm looking forward to it.

I finally finished watching that absolute garbage of a sequel today. I started it about a week ago with plenty of skepticism, and honestly? I fell asleep. And you know never fall asleep in front of the TV, no matter how dull the movie is. Sure, the first one was great—most people agree the ending caught everyone off guard—but this was just bottom-tier. The acting isn't an improvement over the original, though you don't expect much. The script was a disaster, and the ending was painfully predictable. The whole "woman involved with a psychopath" trope was obvious from miles away.
Still, at least the memory of the first film remains intact. 😍
Oh, right, I nearly forgot: Dina Meyer should have had a much larger role. She isn't exactly an actress, but she’s stunning. 👍

Everyone constantly brings up Coppola's "Lost in Translation," but for me, "The Virgin Suicides" is far superior. It is one of the most visually and auditorily stunning films ever made. It possesses such a unique, dreamlike, almost fairy-tale quality. A beautiful film.😍 😍 😍

Today was the finale, and frankly, I’m disappointed. After all that anticipation, such a hollow conclusion. 😕 😕 I suspect they left things dangling just to bait us into another season, because nothing actually feels resolved.

For me, last night’s episode was brilliant, despite the unfinished ending... did Sophie intend to resurrect Brother Justin by draining Ben's strength?
I was absolutely terrified when Brother Justin lost it in that tent and started swinging that scythe at everyone😱 and then the showdown moved to the cornfield—it felt like some twisted version of "Children of the Corn."
Poor Jonesy...🙂

Listen, there isn't anything wrong with it. I always tear up when E.T. wants to go home.🙂 Is there any child more endearing than little Drew in that film?
*The Thing* is an entirely different matter altogether. Why confuse apples with oranges?😉

God, those eyes and eyebrows of hers are stunning (though I doubt most guys are paying attention to her brows...🙂). That scene where she sings "Sway" in the bar? Pure perfection.
As for the poll, who knows? I respect both. They both have their own particular charm, don't they?👍
Carnival (2003-2005) in TV Series ·
Perhaps a foolish question, but why does Brother Justin have blue blood? If my eyes didn't deceive me... I know he's nothing but evil😈 and all that, but still..🤔
Otherwise, an excellent episode..
After much deliberation—and honestly, this poll is a masterstroke 👍—we find ourselves choosing between two icons of modern cinema. I’m casting my vote for Chris "Ollic" Klein. While he technically won by a hair (actually, scratch that, I doubt he has a single hair on his body), Freddy Krueger isn't exactly a loser either...
Let’s look at why Ollic-Klein takes the lead. What is his edge? For starters, those eyes suggest a genuinely warm soul. I suspect this guy would choose a romantic evening by a fireplace with Richard Clayderman over anything primal any day. Plus, those cheekbones give him that subtle, soft touch people seem to crave.
Of course, that hairstyle—reminiscent of those messy curtains—is the ultimate weapon that breaks even the toughest defenses...
But what truly sets him apart from the pack is the fact that he managed to land, and actually stay with, Hollywood's coolest icon: the one and only Katie Holmes. She’s put on a little weight lately, but that’s a story for another time.
Ollic-Klein is the man. 👍 🙏
