I honestly didn't think I could squeeze into a size 25 either—my Levi's are usually a 27—but the clerk insisted I'd make it work. Turns out she was right. It was the last pair left, and honestly? The denim is killer.
They were a bit tight around the hips at first. But after a few washes, they stretched out perfectly. Just right now.
Five years ago, I picked up some Gap jeans that I still wear religiously. I saw the tag the other day—size 27—and honestly, I’m horrified. But damn, I love them. A few months back, I bought another pair from Gap, size 29, because I couldn't fit into a 27 or 28 anymore. After leaving them in the closet for a while, I can barely even button them now. To make matters worse, I have a pair of size 30s that fit my waist exactly like those 27s do. I have no idea how to explain it. They're all Gap. It makes zero sense.
Maybe I’m not as built like you, but I’m certain I wouldn’t be caught dead in jeans under a size 29—especially now that I’ve finally put some actual weight on my shins and hips.😁
