I’ve lost my temper with my boss more than a few times—yet somehow, she’s still walking around perfectly fine... so clearly, it hasn't done a thing to lower my stress levels.👎
🤣 😂 👍
Back to the topic: I decided to buy myself a little plush smiley face toy to squeeze when things get intense; it has this absolutely manic grin that makes it impossible not to crack a smile.😁 Laughter therapy, I suppose...👍

True, and then you've got Keith Richards playing the father in the sequel... 🤣
Sandra King86 said:It might not be the most popular take, but I’m not exactly a huge fan of Depp either. He has a bit of an unpleasant look about him, though I have to admit his acting is actually quite solid. 🙂
He didn't bother me at all in Chocolat, the Man Who Cried, or Blow. I thought he was great in Once Upon a Time in Mexico / Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
I’d wholeheartedly suggest checking out both Secret Window and Pirates of the Caribbean... 😍

What she's getting at is that anxiety, stress, and those other mental struggles that can trigger heart palpitations don't suddenly make someone "crazy"... 🙄

😛 😁
The real issue isn't getting a clean bill of health; it's the fact that they can't actually tell you what's wrong with you. And honestly, that's hardly an isolated case. People deal with chronic issues all the time, only to have some doctor run a basic blood panel or some other trivial test and declare everything perfectly fine—which is really just medical shorthand for "it's all in your head."
It’s happened to me a few times as well... That sudden sensation where my heart starts pounding so hard I feel like it might actually burst out of my chest... You can practically see it thumping against your ribs from the outside. And mind you, I’m perfectly healthy; I don't have any underlying heart conditions whatsoever.
I’ve realized it usually kicks in if I’ve experienced a sudden shock, some intense physical exertion, or even just a sharp, sudden movement... In those moments, I just force myself to stop, try to take slow, steady breaths, and eventually, everything settles back to normal...
Honestly, that's just how it goes—I’ve had all the checkups done, and everything comes back perfect; I'm as fit as an athlete.
It might not be the computer itself; I spend nearly all my time glued to my desk, and honestly, the only thing I feel is the constant ache in my back from curling up on the bed while working.
Why don't you just head over to an eye doctor and have them give your vision a proper checkup?
I honestly don't have a preference when it comes to genres; it really just boils down to my mood and who I happen to be hanging out with at the moment...
My mother’s brother had a pacemaker installed when he was in his early seventies. The surgery itself was a success, and he likely would have enjoyed many more years if he hadn't stubbornly stuck to his habit of smoking about twenty cigarettes a day and living such an unhealthy lifestyle... He managed to get another four or five good, solid years out of it—years where his heart didn't give him any trouble...
Ultimately, everything hinges on whether a person actually listens to their body and adjusts their habits to match their age after a procedure like this. From what I understand, these surgeries are generally quite successful and can grant people a significant amount of extra time, so please don't worry; everything is going to be just fine... 🙂

- do you opt for non-GMO fruits and veggies? I try my best; I usually just end up "borrowing" some from my grandma’s garden.
- do you use vitamin-infused creams? Yes, things with Vitamin C and CoQ10...
- do you have milk every single morning? Every morning, and definitely in the evening after a run.
- do you enjoy intimacy with your partner daily to keep that glow?😉 😁 😁 😁
- do you laugh often? All the time—which explains why I have so many laughter lines.
- do you eat an apple every day? Apples aren't really my thing; I live for oranges, berries, apricots, grapes, and figs.
- do you make sure to get to bed before midnight?....... That’s where I fall short. It’s almost never before midnight, sometimes even later, yet I’m up by 6 AM. I rely on the weekends to fully recharge.
I try to appreciate the little things and refuse to let life get under my skin; if someone does manage to rattle me, I just go for a run and come back feeling like a new person.😉
You are a total inspiration... I really ought to follow that routine myself. 👍

There’s already an entire thread debating how harmful it is, which is honestly devastating news for me since I can't survive a single day without my morning bowl of Cocoa Puffs. 🙂
Everything becomes toxic if you consume too much of it... 😉
Regrettably, I haven’t been making much of an impact lately...
I do consume a significant amount of milk—just shy of a quart every day 😬 ) and I make a conscious effort to unwind and find some fun whenever possible, if only to maintain my sanity... But that is essentially it...
I am holding onto the hope that moving to a new city will finally allow me to turn things around for the better. 😉
Maybe three or four times a week... I wouldn't call myself an addict, per se, but I certainly enjoy grabbing a coffee here and there. I actually just brewed one for myself—my first one of the week. Usually, I save them for those slow weekend mornings when I don't have to rush off to work, so I can just sit back and truly savor it.

I’m dealing with constant cramping in my feet; it doesn't matter what I'm doing—it hits me while walking, changing clothes, exercising, you name it. I recently started yoga, but the moment I have to kneel or sit back on my heels, naturally, the cramp strikes and 😱
Not to mention the "fiery awakening" I experience in the middle of the night when a sudden cramp seizes my calves. 😠
Help. 😢
I had foot cramps last night too... probably from dancing... I suppose that's just what happens when we aren't in peak shape... 😁 We really need to get out and party more... 😁 😁 😁 Otherwise, I've heard that increasing magnesium levels might help reduce the frequency of these cramps, though I can't be entirely sure about the reliability of that advice...
