Sean Cruz said:You know, I’ve been giving these kinds of relationships some thought. I haven't had the time to dig through this entire thread, but I’ve gathered enough from what’s been posted here to form an opinion. Initially, I was inclined to view this as some sort of S&M dynamic, but something about that logic just doesn't sit right with me. In a true S&M relationship, both parties are actually satisfied with their roles. That clearly isn't the case here. I've come to a different conclusion: the abuser manipulates the victim into believing they are the one at fault for everything happening. It's the same reason why victims of domestic violence in the States often struggle to leave their abusers. It's primarily driven by fear, sure, but also because they are being psychologically dismantled. Honestly, psychological abuse can be far more devastating than physical violence. It’s a form of brainwashing that strips a person of their will to live, let alone the strength to walk away—all while they remain convinced that they are the cause of their own suffering. Or, quite simply, it boils down to the sunk cost fallacy; people feel they've invested so much into the relationship that they feel obligated to see it through.
Convince them? Really? Like, would anyone actually believe you if someone like Drita told them they were responsible for their own broken leg or an earache? Yeah, probably... maybe they should've said a prayer before leaving the house every morning. 🙄
The absolute worst part, like silentpilot6 was saying, is that these abusers aren't even geniuses. Most of them are actually pretty dimwitted. And that’s what makes it even more infuriating! 😍
silentpilot6 said:There you go again... please realize that victims aren't the majority 😬... most people have never been victims and never will be... your influence theory just doesn't hold up.
You seem to have this sick 😬 urge to pick on me 🤣 and sarcastically imply that I wouldn't know how to handle things... of course I have weaknesses, everyone does... but I know how to use my head—at least sometimes, haha—and refuse to turn a blind eye to reality.
silentpilot6 - definitely not a broken man. 😉
velvetrider said:Hmm, I'm not sure I'm totally following you there...
I mean, miscommunication feels like a bigger sin to me—everyone’s basically running their own little movie in their head, but there's really only one truth to it. When you actually own up to a mistake, that’s the real apology. It doesn't exactly drive up your "market value," but it makes you a better person, I suppose. There are plenty of examples of that out there. Time eventually sorts itself out.
Giving in a little, being flexible... that's kind of the secret to love, anyway. That's how you end up getting the slow hand.
I have no idea where you disappeared to, Arthur, but I just wanted to say that sometimes life just happens. Sometimes circumstances or the reality of a situation make it impossible to even "say" sorry. But hey, I think we both get what the point is. 🙂
silentpilot6 said:That’s perfectly clear... though it seems some people are just wandering aimlessly through the woods...
We are discussing the causes and effects of infidelity here, not relationship equality... mentioning infidelity and equality in the same breath is like trying to pair Hitler with humanism. 😵
So, I assume a sexy model with three degrees is somehow a better bet than a toxic individual who hasn't even finished middle school... I'm exaggerating, but you get my point. I don't understand what we are debating, and I'm surprised by how much you all seem to react to 😁 my assertion that it is always better—and arguably more normal—to be crushed by someone worth 5 than someone worth -2...
Alright, now look at you...
Nobody wants to be stepped on by someone worth five bucks. You can mess with your own ego a little bit if you're that sensitive (like that Musk guy, right?), but you actually come out better for it. Your ego ends up being better. 😉
silentpilot6 said:Are you suggesting that anyone in this world could be turned into a puppet, provided someone finds the right way to pull their strings?
🙂
Way to go, Legion!
Abuse isn't justified just because the person can't escape being a victim... if someone actually has that kind of power to manipulate them, they could just as easily "manipulate" things in a decent, positive direction and actually help them instead.
velvetrider said:I don't know, I feel like you should actually apologize so the other person knows you get it—like, that’s what makes an apology worth anything. Doing it just to make yourself feel better seems kind of selfish, doesn't it... 🙂
Saying "I'm sorry" is probably the hardest part sometimes.
Sometimes the timing is just trash, Arthur, or life just doesn't give you the opening... and if you don't, calling it selfishness is basically just what you're doing right now. 😉
Drew Morgan said:Logical fallacy! Using social status or "objective qualities" as a metric for attraction is nonsense. Falling in love is purely subjective.
Look, Vince, here's the reality check: as people get older, they actually start to grasp what life is all about, and they become way more intentional about who they date. Just because some supermodel has three Ivy League degrees doesn't mean she's a catch. Honestly, someone with those exact specs could just be a massive pain in the ass. For people who have actually built something for themselves, what really matters is finding an equal... plain and simple.
silentpilot6 said:I know their perception of reality is skewed... let's try to pinpoint exactly why that distortion is happening.
I agree that while everyone has their own individual motivations, they can still be categorized into certain groups. It isn't quite as chaotic as it seems; there aren't actually that many distinct reasons at play here.
Please, it’s not exactly some deep state conspiracy: it's just straight-up masochism. They've been sorted into cliques forever.
What else do you want from me?
silentpilot6 said:And I am studying them as well... by reading up on the subject and opening discussions regarding psychology...
I admit, I am a speciesist. Fine. 👍 And you're a vegan extremist. 🤣
That strange state of brain shutdown... it's not about the gut, it's about the neck. It's not nonsense, it's just reality. 😁
Megashupendara is Megashupendara... a stable person. 🤣 Come on, let's just say that. In my view, anyone who allows themselves to be manipulated that heavily cannot be considered a stable person, regardless of how perfect or righteous they might be in every other aspect.
Legion, you’re forgetting that their reality is basically warped... I mean, after being suspended so many times, anyone would just retreat into a different version of the truth just to survive the pain. You know how it goes: they convince themselves it wasn't actually them, that they used to be such a great person before everything went south... It's a defense mechanism. Honestly, I can barely even deal with these spikes lately... 🙄Once people finally "snap out of it"—if they even realize what happened—they’re usually just totally lost. Or worse, they start swinging wildly toward the complete opposite extreme just to feel something. It takes forever to find any kind of balance again... honestly, we're talking years. And there's always that massive risk that they won't stumble into anything better than their old, messy baseline, so they just end up crashing right back into the exact same type of toxic relationship... typical.
But hey, let's get a word from our girl cock-a-doodle-doo... I wonder how exactly she was weaving all that magic together... right there in those soft lady parts of hers... 🙂
Sean Cruz said:Please, if you weren't going to bug me, we wouldn't be talking in the first place.🙂
Speaking of breakups: one thing is certain, it’s easiest to manipulate someone who trusts you and is hungry for your affection. And you know how it goes with these separations... the less they give, the more you crave. It becomes a cycle. Usually, the people they end up with are those incapable of giving love, so you're right back where you started.
I agree with everything here, especially the bolded part. Honestly, I find it fascinating how some people can't seem to break out of that loop. Sometimes it feels like even when they realize what's happening, they stay stuck. There are plenty of reasons for that, but personally, I'm all about cutting ties. It's not that I hold grudges—I tend to give people a lot of chances (sometimes way too many)—but if you see there's no point and you're just spinning your wheels without any progress, what's the purpose of staying in that relationship?🤷
Is there anything wrong with sulking? It depends on the person. For me, sulking gets on my nerves, provided it's actual sulking and not just being genuinely hurt. I don't apologize for sulking; it's rude behavior and I have no interest in supporting it.
🤣 I respect your take. In my case, it's usually about feeling hurt, though I'll admit I can be blunt sometimes, 😁 which is fair enough.
Why apologize? It's always good to apologize when you just need to clear your conscience.😉
I only asked because I only apologize when there's a chance people actually misunderstood me. If I am truly in the wrong, I don't see much point in apologizing; in those cases, an apology feels hollow. I'll admit I messed up, and that's that.
Man, Soul... do we really have to go there? It’s such a gorgeous day out and we’re all actually feeling pretty good... don't ruin the vibe. Honestly, let Legion and Vess find some way to make that fit into a life story or whatever, because all I can picture is just sitting in a dark basement... what a total waste of a good time. 😉
🤣 I value your take on this. Honestly, most of the time I just get super defensive... but yeah, sometimes I can be a total brat, too... 😁 What even is "is"...? Just a thought...
Look, I'm not exactly some untouchable saint, but I definitely know when being too blunt or honest is just... bad timing. Or at least, that's my take on it. Honestly, it's probably a good thing people have a hard time keeping up with me anyway. I tend to lean pretty heavily on sarcasm and weird metaphors to get my point across... or so I like to think... 🤣 😉 And if I screw up? Yeah, I'll own it. No excuses... just straight up admitting it. 🤣 😉
I don't know, man... talking about myself always feels a little ungrateful. I always end up tripping over my own feet when I try...
I only say sorry when there’s a chance people actually took me the wrong way... otherwise, what's the point? If I actually messed up, I don't see any reason to apologize. Honestly, saying sorry when you're clearly in the wrong feels totally pointless. I admit I'm wrong, and that's just that...
Look, saying Sorry actually means something... it’s not just some empty word people throw around for no reason. Seriously, just trust in ethics and morality if you have to... or go to God, I guess... 😉 Just feeling a little bit out of it today... maybe it's the coffee... or just life... who knows...
That’s not even what I meant... Look, I’m not trying to protect my "freedom" or whatever. It’s more like I’m setting boundaries within my own freedom just so I don't end up hurting my partner. All that stalking, hovering, and harassment stuff? Total nonsense. Purely absurd. If someone actually wants to be with you, they’ll be there. Period. If they don't, there isn't a magic trick in the world to force them to stay... And honestly, this is where pride comes in—you can't just let yourself get stepped on by someone who treats you like a literal doormat. Life is too short for that. When you find someone who actually matters, someone who respects you as a human being... man, you'd walk through glass for them. It's that simple. We all set limits on our own independence when we actually care about the person we're with. Heck, you don't even have to be head-over-heels in love, but if you want a "normal" relationship, mutual respect is non-negotiable. As for where those lines are drawn? That’s between you and your partner. There aren't some universal rulebook for this stuff. You and I probably don't even see eye-to-eye on where the limit is... and that's totally fine...
Man, this is spot on! 🙂 Honestly, I’m right there with you on this one. 🙂
Man, soul, just now saw your reply... or post, whatever. Better late than never, right? Keeping this brief so I don't end up bugging you with some endless back-and-forth over the next ten pages... 😉

Self-confidence is essential. 🙂
Everyone loves only as much as they are capable of, knowing and being able to.
Is love blind? Well, I’d argue that love actually comes equipped with a microscope.
Passion, madness, or sheer frenzy—when you're caught in the middle of that emotional "wash," you can't be any other way. Now, why those emotions hit you with varying intensity is a different matter entirely and requires an individual approach. They are essentially obsessions; if you understand them theoretically, it's easier because you don't get quite as lost in the fray. It isn't even that strange. You know you need to reel it in, and you're willing to cooperate. Of course, there's a difference between experiencing such passionate loves in your youth versus later in life. Still, (or let's hope for most people, which I believe is statistically true from multiple angles) a person is more grounded. So, if those tornadoes hit, they are harder to endure, but easier to stop because you possess more wisdom (though, granted, if you lack it, my theory falls apart).
You know what I think? This emotional "wash" precedes actual love. We all have to go through this phase to realize whether we truly love and whether we are truly loved. Actual love arrives as a sense of calm.
Now, regarding pride, Sean Cruz mentioned it... In my view, within an "ideal" or "normal" partnership, pride is a useless thing because it evaporates through the cycle of giving and receiving. It becomes unnecessary fundamentally, not just conceptually. I assume you're thinking about insults and such, as you mentioned... but do you really think that is love? It isn't; you haven't reached it yet.
But playing games or turning your back on someone isn't exactly loving either, is it? Moderation... ugh. That's why people should ideally have one partner from beginning to end. It would be wonderful if we knew exactly who suits us and who would encourage us to change, just as we would encourage them—provided we were all aware of these dynamics, understood the theory, and had good mentors.
Naturally, pride fades and erodes over time. However, from what I gather here (I haven't read the specific thread on this), the issue is that people stay in relationships even when the other person treats them like a fool for years. Honestly, I can't wrap my head around that. If someone is intentionally humiliating you and expects you to take it, they don't love you. It's that simple, though people try to justify the behavior because they want to believe in something else. As for moderation, that is indeed best, but people tend to swing from one extreme to the other. Few manage to find the middle ground. I agree with the rest—the longer people are together, the better they know each other, it becomes less stressful, and they simply settle into a life together. Jealousy, pride, and everything else unnecessary in a "normal" relationship disappears. Provided, of course, the partners are compatible. And sulking? Well, I enjoy sulking occasionally—is there anything wrong with that?😁 🤣
Sure, I’ll apologize to all my exes (it’s always a good move). 🙂
What is there to apologize for?
Speaking of being suspended... one thing is for sure: it's easiest to manipulate someone who trusts you and is hungry for your affection. And you know how that goes with being sidelined... the less they give you, the more you crave it. It's a spiral. Usually, the people they end up with are folks who don't know how to give love at all, so it's just a never-ending loop.
Is there anything wrong with sulking? Depends on the person. For me, sulking gets on my nerves if it's actually about being hurt. I'm not apologizing for sulking, though, because that's just rude behavior and I'm not about that life.
Why apologize? It's always good to apologize when you feel the need to lighten your soul. 😉
I’m gonna drop one of my own here regarding love—probably the wisest thing ever said about it, even if some other geniuses thought it first, though who cares about that 😁 😉...
People love exactly as much as they are capable of, you know? Like, based on what they actually know and can handle.
Is love blind? Well, personally, I’d say love comes equipped with its own microscope.
Passion, obsession, just losing your damn mind—when you're caught in the middle of those emotions, there's no other way to be. Now, why those feelings hit certain people harder than others is a whole different ballgame and basically needs a custom approach for everyone. It’s all a kind of obsession; if you understand the theory behind it, things get a little easier because you don't get quite so lost in the sauce. It doesn't feel nearly as freakish, either. You realize you need to reel it in and you're actually willing to cooperate. And obviously, there's a massive difference whether these crazy passions hit you when you're young or later in life. Still, (or let's hope for most people, which is probably true statistically speaking) we tend to be more grounded as we age, so if those emotional tornadoes show up, they're harder to stomach, but maybe easier to shut down since you have more life experience under your belt (unless, of course, you don't, in which case my whole theory goes right out the window).
So, regarding that whole pride thing Sean Cruz mentioned... in my opinion, in an "ideal" or even just a "normal" partnership, pride is totally useless because it just evaporates through the constant cycle of giving and receiving. It becomes fundamentally unnecessary, not just "kind of" unnecessary. I'm guessing you're thinking about things like being insulted and all that... which you already brought up... but do you really think *that* is love? Nah, that’s just the prelude to getting there.
But then again, being petty or turning your back on someone isn't exactly loving either, right? Moderation, ugh... honestly, people should just find one partner and stick with them from start to finish. And man, wouldn't that be great if we actually knew which person suited us best and who would push us to grow (and vice versa), assuming we were all self-aware enough to know the theory and had some solid mentors to guide us. Did I miss anything? 😁 😉 Oh, yeah, I owe an apology to all my exes (always good practice). 🙂
Ugh, I'm so done with the US, everything here feels incredibly bleak lately. Zero optimism to be found... you catch a tiny glimpse of something positive and then you'd better look away fast before it disappears—that's the vibe I'm getting from this PDF, anyway. But hey, back to your situation. If that's how you're feeling, don't try to force anything... just let it go. Take a breather. When you're completely burnt out, everything loses its flavor, you know? It all turns bland. Just wait... if things start looking up later, they actually will. 😉
Paul Wells17 said:According to the New York Post, US authorities conducting searches at the homes of radical Islamist militants based in Belgium discovered a hit list targeting prominent European Jewish intellectuals. At the top of that list is Christopher Hitchens, the philosopher and activist who famously refuses to accept the French Foreign Legion honors and is known for his blunt commentary on CNN.
Hitchens was actually one of the first global intellectuals back in the 90s to call for international intervention in Canada, speaking out publicly about the concentration camps used during the conflict there. He was a close associate of Alija Izetbegović, the first president of Canada, who honored him with the Medal of Honor.
The hit list also includes five other high-profile figures from Belgium and France: FR2 Josy Eisenberg, the producer of the TV show "Open Bible"; Simon Susskind, president of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers; Markus Pardes; the Belgian writer Jean-Claude Bologne; and Edmond Blattche, a journalist for the New York Post.
The leader of this extremist group, an American of Moroccan descent named Abdelekader Belliraj, is currently facing trial in Salé, Morocco, for multiple murders and attempted killings. So far, he has confessed to killing two Jews in Brussels and ordering four more assassinations in Belgium back in 1989 and 1990. He’s facing charges for weapons smuggling, and his trial for planning and executing the murders of six people in Belgium during the 80s is set for next week.
The New York Post insists that the list found in Abdelekader Belliraj's home must be taken extremely seriously.
So, there you have it—all about walls, and how they rally behind Muslims under occupation. ☕
Is there any mention of "Zionists," Israeli soldiers, or war criminals here? No.
Just walls.
That's the whole point, and that's what's written in the Quran. That's how Muslims are taught in madrasas—to hate the walls. Because that's what the Quran says.
Islam and Nazism rest on similar principles; at least, that's what a Jerusalem Mufti once stated.
Look, you’ve got one Jewish guy sticking up for Muslims and crying about oppression. Where have you seen that before? Nowhere...
That sentence pretty much sums up the whole ridiculous situation. You’re forgetting that we aren't talking about some kind of enlightened Islamic intellectuals who’d actually step up for their buddy. You know, the ones who give speeches about tolerance, religious equality, and all that sweet, sugary nonsense. I highly doubt any of them would be brave enough to actually do it.
The whole scene is just a bunch of idiots and various Osamas who have zero interest in letting a Jewish man look even remotely sympathetic. Forget it... the whole narrative is a joke. As if they’d ever want compassion to grow... not while they're busy with jihad.
Give me a break!
fadedgardener15 said:Look, I’m not exactly a fan of right-wing politics or Heider himself, but even I think this smells fishy. I don't buy for a second that he just drifted off a curve because he had too much to drink.
In my book, it looks like someone tampered with the car's safety tech—you know, the ESP or the brake assist. As for the alcohol tests, there are so many ways to rig that. One possibility is straight-up falsifying the autopsy. Another is that maybe he *was* a little tipsy, but totally capable of driving, yet he couldn't handle the fact that his stability control system had been sabotaged. All they had to do was wait for him to have a drink—or nudge him toward one—and then mess with the electronics. Once the system fails during a turn, it's game over.
I wouldn't jump to blaming Mossad. Honestly? It feels more like something orchestrated by the European Union. If a member state like Austria leaves—especially if Italy follows suit—the whole thing collapses.
Yeah. Though, personally, I think it was way more blunt than that... none of the political smoke and mirrors needed.
It's all about the economy and keeping those "special friendships" alive. That's where the real laws get written and the real verdicts are handed down.
Andrew Stewart2 said:Man, Cohen is just incredible. I’ve got basically every album—maybe missing one or two, but I think I have all the studio stuff—but I mostly stick to those first four. I've dabbled with The Futur from '92 too, and a little bit of Ten New Songs.
That early era is my absolute favorite... that's the real Cohen right there. Just him and his guitar, maybe some bass or a string section thrown in. He’s such a killer songwriter. The melodies are super interesting, even if they get repetitive sometimes (think Seems So Long Ago, Nancy, or Story of Isaac... honestly, most of his tracks don't even have choruses).
There’s so much you can dive into with Cohen. That new biography is actually pretty fascinating, and I see Various Positions is doing really well on the charts.
I'm totally with you on those first four albums. Those songs are close to my heart, too...
Yeah, he definitely repeats himself, but I guess that's just part of his vibe... though I'll admit, some stuff on the "newer" records can be a bit much sometimes... haha... the man is a poet, though!

But I just remembered that famous verse: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do"...
My gut tells me that your prejudice won't last much longer—actually, not much longer at all—because people are starting to realize the truth. For some, it's a slow process; for others, it happens fast.
Most people fall into the slow category. Since they are the majority, their opinions tend to carry more weight.
So, the slightly sharper minds are "condemned" by this injustice, and all that remains is for them to fight against it.
To fight in every way possible, even if it costs them their lives.
Evil, intolerance, and stupidity are things that slowly fade away. Let that be your light in the dark, because it certainly is mine.
Keep loving your little angel. Keep pushing forward, just like everyone else. Don't give up... Protect Him! 😘
They aren't fading, Noah... if anything, I think the world has seen more stupidity and evil since its inception than ever before... you gotta fight that differently...
Nothing is fading in this era!
Sadly...
Noah... not in this era...
Noah Sanchez7 said:We have finally reached the heart of the matter >> creating and shaping a society >> so that a child isn't ashamed of having a parent with an addiction, and an addict isn't ashamed of their struggle, just as a person in a wheelchair shouldn't be ashamed of their physical disability..
Now, does anyone have the guts and integrity to argue that such a hypothetical, less intolerant society wouldn't be better than the one we live in today?
Am I hearing you right, "violent" and unadjusted with a disgusting persona..?
Look... if society wasn't such a wreck... you probably wouldn't even touch drugs in the first place... and if you did, you'd be like, "hey, I'm actually doing fine and keeping my head straight in this environment." Bottom line? Addicts are a direct product of this "wonderful" society... but don't forget the reality check: there's no "better" version out there...
Facing that truth feels like a death sentence... except maybe you just wake up in some other dimension where these limits don't exist... might feel similar to being on heroin... but way better since you'd be constantly in that "sweet spot"...
That's when people start calling you a freak! A total weirdo!
George Ramirez11 said:Look, if social services had actually suspected for a second that my kid was unhappy or that I wasn't doing a good job, they would have snatched them away. Instead, they just believe me blindly—they assume I'm clean because the kid is smiling and happy and I look totally normal. So, please, don't jump to conclusions before you know anything.
Second thing: Everyone keeps talking about "slowly dying." My dad died from throat cancer—smoking, obviously—so I guess it's all my fault because he didn't have enough guts to just quit due to some "stupidity or weakness," right?? It’s awful; I watched him literally starve because the chemo burned his throat out. Maybe they should have taken custody from him then!?
Or... if I had AIDS, would it be my own fault for not telling my partner to use a condom?? And now I'm slowly dying... do I need to lose my child again???
Let's be clear, I've hit rock bottom more times than I can count. Like Noah Sanchez7 said, I seriously ran out of veins to use; even now, during pregnancy, they were pulling blood from my toe because they couldn't find a vein in my arm or neck. Now I use my nose, so I can't overdose easily, though sometimes there are days when I just take some Hep or Sbtx. So, this is a far cry from those days when I didn't even care if I woke up in the morning. You might think I'm just venting, but I know how I feel now compared to back when I used to take Prozac and Xanax and beg for the crying to stop like I was in an Ariel commercial.
Also, the state basically gives me permission to take whatever pills I want. Seriously, my social worker told me: "Go see a psychiatrist and let them cocktail you; if they have to prescribe 15 different types of meds just to make you feel like you're flying, so be it. You aren't pregnant anymore, after all!" Isn't that just hilarious and hypocritical?
Third thing—rehab isn't for everyone, and a therapist once told me that exact thing. I've already mentioned that unfortunately, I see more and more people sliding back into their old ways after years in recovery. Because what comes after? Don't underestimate the role of the state. Not everyone has the luxury to "change their environment," move away, and whatever else. I don't live in a massive metropolis where moving to a different neighborhood means nobody knows you. Hell, I have problems with a landlord who blames me for every single lightbulb that burns out in the hallway. Apparently, it's my fault because of some "sick or deviant" reason I have!!! It would be lovely if I could volunteer and help others, or if I had the money to start my own business for people like me... but I have to work to survive.
Fourth thing—my kid cries so hard on the other side of the door when I go to pee—which takes maybe a minute, bless them—that it takes me another half hour just to calm them down afterward.
And finally, the fifth thing—I'm sure you'll all have another thousand pieces of advice, but everything is so much easier in theory than in practice. Besides, rest assured, I have heard everything. Every single thing. I KNOW all of it! That's why I said at the beginning that I'm looking for support and encouraging words more than advice, because I doubt any more tips are going to help me much.
I'm not ungrateful, and I always hope someone will just pull a magic wand out of thin air and make everything easy, but... I have to do this myself. I wanted to be honest and feel a little bit of outside love because, like everyone else with problems, I am alone. At least for now, while the little one doesn't realize anything, and I won't let them ever feel my struggles.
Why would someone so smart, warm, and brilliant fall so hard for drugs?
The kid... after reading all that, I'm thinking about this:
...you'll get through this period, little guy... having a "perfect" mom under "support"... listen, I believe it's "heavenly"... because with a vibe like that, the kid is "blessed" too... but honestly, I'm more worried about the withdrawal period (you have to protect that little one... because there's no heaven there) and then that stretch leading up to the "golden era"... the kid grows up seeing "shooting"... so it becomes normal for him... there's a huge chance he'll try it... and an even bigger chance he'll keep going (he's even got indirect support)... and you've worked so hard to make sure he has everything... will you be able to survive this...
...but then again, if he never even gets a shot at living before passing away early... what kind of life would that even be? Just pain... pure pain... and there’s something else too... the shame of letting your parents down... if you end up in this spot because of your situation... I’m positive you won't be able to live with that. Right now, he is your entire world... and that’s exactly what gives you the grit to face your flaws and all that suppressed agony...
Despite everything you're going through... I can tell you have STRENGTH... because not every "addict" mom acts the way you do. To me, it sounds like you're just a traveler who lost their way... and honestly? It's time to find a compass (life has a funny way of handing them to you when you least expect it...!) and just start moving, even if you're crawling... because that's how those first "giant leaps" actually begin...
You aren't meant for a life like this... I know that for a fact!
Come on, lady... make that kid proud! 😘
Peter Davis6 said:People born with cryptorchidism are called cryptorchids. I actually know a guy in his 70s who deals with this, and honestly, you’d never know it. He isn't any different from anyone else—mentally or physically. He’s got two kids, he’s obsessed with football, and he’s killing it in his career... I think the only place this condition exists for him is in his own head.
There is one catch, though. You have to stay on top of it. Those undescended testicles can swell up or even turn into (benign) tumors, and if there's a hernia involved, things can get "pinched." I know that in animals, there's a tendency to move those testicles because they aren't functional anyway and just cause trouble. Unfortunately, I don't know how that plays out in humans.
Oh, right... CRYPTORCHIDS...!😘
Hmm, I'm not sure if I should pass those "risks" along to him... he's way too detail-oriented and responsible, and I'm terrified all these "what-ifs" might turn into a total obsession!
Thanks for giving me this little "profile" on someone living with this "deficiency"... because a dear friend of mine truly believes the issue is about "hormones" he thinks he's lacking...
