Right... but what's the point of those tiny little 12oz ones anyway? If I hit a fourth one, I know I’m going to wake up feeling hungover the next morning. And frankly, I’m not interested in that. 👎
jadeseal81 said:That's true... It depends on the person, plus I've still got some life left in me, haha... But the mornings after? Never again. Though I always make sure to drink two or three glasses of water before hitting the sack...
Please. Some guys can knock back five shots, down three liters of Budweiser a day, and feel absolutely nothing. Age isn't the benchmark here. Let's talk about limits... My limit is three beers. Once I hit that, the next morning is a write-off. I’ll head out with friends, have a few drinks, but I never cross that line. Looking back, I only really get drunk a handful of times a year. Everything else stays within reasonable boundaries.

Here’s my routine: every Saturday, I knock back about six beers before I even head downtown just to get loose... or maybe a liter of something stronger like bourbon.... Then once I'm out on the town, I'll have another four beers. That’s my sweet spot—enough to relax, but enough to stay in control. So, what kind of damage am I actually doing here?
It’ll kill you. But then again, everyone handles it differently. For me, three beers is plenty because I know if I go any further, I'll be a complete zombie the next day.
You go get some lab work done. You give blood, wait a bit, and then sit down with a doctor who gives you a thorough exam. That's how you actually get answers. There's no such thing as self-diagnosis.
Austin Roberts8 said:The problem is that things like bouillon cubes or processed seasoning mixes are full of synthetic additives. Some of those ingredients are known carcinogens, which means they can increase your risk—they don't necessarily cause it directly, there's a distinction there—of developing cancer.
Sure. Why bother? Best just to stop breathing altogether since air is probably carcinogenic too. 🙄
Kidney stones, stomach issues, intestinal irritation... honestly, the list of reasons why you shouldn't go overboard with the spices is pretty damn long.
Look, I had a rough time with Doxycycline. Honestly, I’d probably react the same way to any tetracycline.
The first capsule didn't seem to do much damage. But about 15 or 20 minutes after the second one, the nausea hit me. It was bad... just nasty. Things settled down after that. Then came the third dose—again, maybe 15 to 20 minutes in—and my stomach just started revolting. Diarrhea, nausea, the whole bit. I stopped taking them after the third dose. Everything went back to normal pretty quickly.
It's not an allergy to tetracyclines, but they definitely wreck my stomach. There are all these warnings everywhere... take it with food, don't take it with milk, watch out for this or that. But what if I have to take it at 5:00 AM? What am I supposed to eat at five in the morning just to buffer a pill?
I’ve never really dealt with this kind of thing before. Honestly, I used to find it strange whenever someone—usually an older person—complained about weather-induced aches. It was never an issue for me.
But yesterday? The weather definitely did it. It was unmistakable. Sweltering heat combined with that heavy, oppressive atmosphere. Just constant dark clouds rolling in from the west, like a storm was brewing right on top of us. And then, out of nowhere, a headache hit me... man, it was brutal. I genuinely thought my head was going to explode. It felt like those clouds were physically crushing my skull. The second things cleared up and the sky opened back up, the pressure and the pain just vanished. I felt like a new man.
And let’s face it, this is going to happen more and more often as the climate keeps shifting. How are we even supposed to deal with it?
The funniest part has to be that whole bit with paradise and the squirrel. That massive, oversized acorn. And then, just when she’s about to grab it—*zip*—she’s right back on Earth. Lazybones basically brings her back to life just to mess with her. It's enough to drive you crazy... 🤣
Karen Brooks, ZA is actually a solid choice for beginners. It comes with all the essential configurations right out of the box, installation is a breeze, and you’re basically good to go. Not everyone relies on dedicated hardware firewalls or setups like iptables anyway.
I honestly don't get why everyone obsesses over hitting the gym five times a week and all that nonsense. Half the people I see just spend 45 minutes fixing their hair in the mirror and call it a workout.
Then, four months later, they have the nerve to ask how I achieved my results, even though you can't see any change in them at all.
"Just skip the steroids," I told them. If you actually want to be healthy and fit, stay away from the gear. Cut back on processed carbs, watch the saturated fats, and just train. Three sessions a week for two hours is plenty—provided you actually put in the work for those two hours. That means 30 to 45 minutes of cardio, and I don't mean strolling aimlessly like you're on a Sunday walk. Follow that up with at least an hour of heavy lifting.
What people get wrong is pushing themselves way past their limits. If your body isn't responding and you aren't seeing progress, stop forcing it. You’ll just burn out and wreck your health. Change your routine instead.
Are you seriously still missing the point here? If you were doing any work under YOUR own business account, you had an obligation to bill for it. And to actually bill someone, you should have signed a contract or some kind of formal agreement with the client. You didn't sign anything with the end user; you signed with whoever commissioned the site. If you skipped that step, then yeah, you really did this to yourself.
If you actually have those documents, he has zero leg to stand on. Especially since he wasn't even an employee at your company. As it stands, I could walk into a few local businesses in my area, scrape their sites off the server, tweak them a bit, and charge them for the "work." It wouldn't matter who originally built the sites in the first place.
Look, you run a business. When you're working, protect yourself. Draft a solid contract, include a maintenance period, and then just tell them... if you aren't happy once that period ends, feel free to find someone else. That way, nobody can swoop in and pull a stunt like this on you for a year or two.
If you ask me, he’s just looking to marry you off so he can swoop in and steal your client list.
If those contracts are signed under your LLC, he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Give your clients a call directly and lay it out for them. Tell them you'll be honoring every part of your agreement, but make it clear that he's officially out of the picture since he's no longer working for you.
I don't think you can get it without a prescription. But if you aren't using Medicare, the price is going to be roughly $50(correct me if I'm wrong on the exact amount).
