Amy Fox97 said:Wait, what are the five elements? I'm totally lost.

Besides everything else, those five elements represent the five seasons.

Wood = Spring
Fire = Summer
Earth = Late Summer
Metal = Autumn
Water = Winter

With the Chinese, for example, our start of spring is actually their mid-season. Each season lasts 72 days, and there are five of them. Plus, there’s a transitional period of 18 days between each one that falls under the Earth element.

It's the same for all living foods—they're categorized by one of the five elements. It goes all the way down to organs, and even human life
can be divided into these five elements.

Anyway, that's enough. I don't feel like typing more.

Exactly! I met a doctor here in the States who talked about all of this. 👍 And so much more.

Glad you liked it. I pulled that bit from a book called 'The Power of Positive Thinking.' Can't recall the author offhand, but if you can find a copy, grab it. It's great.

I didn't make it past the third line. Maybe I'm just being too negative. 😁

That’s because you decided my topics were negative from the start. 😉

But honestly, I've been worrying all week that I might catch something, and sure enough, my throat started hurting today!

See? It’s funny how that works. For me, whenever I'm swamped at work and totally exhausted, I just tell myself I don't have time to get sick—and I stay healthy. But the second I finally relax, that's when the sore throat hits.

Medicine's biggest mistake over the last century—and honestly, it still is—is treating people like mere matter. It fails to truly perceive us or see us as whole beings. You can't just treat a human being like a machine where you swap out or fix material parts whenever you feel like it. We are much more than that. We are unique individuals composed of body, soul, and spirit. Only when we view a person as a complete whole can we actually understand what illness, treatment, and true health really mean. Ultimately, the root of all sickness lies in how we think and how insincerely we live our lives.

The power of thought isn't exactly news these days. Plenty of people have seen their lives take a massive turn for the better just by tapping into it. But there’s a dark side: people often weaponize this mindset to serve selfish agendas. Using mental energy for pure ego isn't "positive thinking"—it's dangerous, and it's a complete misuse of the concept. At its core, the entire universe is built on vibration and energy. Everything—matter, light, sound, thoughts, and emotions—is energy. Even modern science backs this up. Research shows that physical changes in our bodies aren't just triggered by external factors; our thoughts and feelings drive the biochemical processes within us. Essentially, thoughts are energy that directly impact our health. Negative mindsets contribute to illness, while positive ones promote healing and wellness.

Thoughts, feelings, and even those subconscious twitches—they all shape how we act. They dictate our gestures, our expressions, and every single thing we say and do. I see our actions as pure, potent energy. There's a constant loop where the internal influences the external and vice versa, fueled by this endless flow of energy within us. It’s a continuous tug-of-war between different forces that are constantly communicating. This internal dialogue can either build us up, making us stronger and more vibrant, or tear us down until we break. It all comes down to whether that energy flowing through us is positive or negative.

Positive thoughts lift you up. Constructive thinking is driven by selfless love—thoughts focused entirely on the well-being of others without any need for praise, recognition, or a reward. It’s about being kind, gentle, and trusting. It’s the desire to serve and help someone find their footing when they need it most. These are thoughts of peace, unity, and pure joy—like that feeling of awe you get looking at a massive thunderstorm or a sunset. It’s gratitude born from knowing how much we've been given. When we let this energy flow selflessly toward others, it comes back to us tenfold because we are the ones giving through love. Selfless, loving thoughts are pure energy. God is love, and those who love live in God, just as God lives in them.

Negative thoughts are pure destruction. We're talking about ego-driven impulses: envy, jealousy, hatred, rage, and aggression toward those around us. Then there are the depressive patterns—constantly overestimating or belittling things. It’s fueled by unrealistic expectations, distrust, and malice. It’s also found in daydreaming, being dishonest with ourselves, and staying trapped in the past or obsessing over the future. Fear is a huge part of it, too. Fear for our existence, fear of sickness, pain, or misfortune. The dread of death, the anxiety that we can't handle daily life, or the terror of losing our money, our partners, or our loved ones. There's also self-pity and that fake sympathy we offer others that actually accomplishes nothing. Even darker are the thoughts of destruction, exploitation, and cruelty toward nature, plants, and animals. It's the constant craving for status, possessions, and greed for power. It’s all just selfish, reckless thinking centered entirely on one's own interests. In these moments, energy doesn't flow outward. Instead of giving, you're just taking. A person stuck in negative thinking isn't contributing anything; they are simply trying to siphon energy from others to satisfy their own egocentric needs and fill their own internal emptiness.

Thoughts carry different types and levels of energy. Depending on what we think, we build a specific energetic field around ourselves. This field grows stronger the more frequently and intensely we focus on similar ideas. Because like thoughts attract one another, they merge into a larger shared energy field—eventually forming a full-blown energetic complex. This happens because, according to the law of conservation of energy in physics, energy can never be lost or destroyed; it can only change from one state to another.

Since energy can't just vanish, every single thought must "exist" somewhere once it’s created. So, what happens to positive versus negative thoughts? Every thought, or cluster of thoughts, carries a specific shape because it is pure energy. Some people are actually intuitive enough to perceive these thought-forms. These are independent entities that carry their own destination within them. For instance, if you think of someone with genuine love, that energetic field of love heads straight toward them. That intention acts like a command, delivering that love to its target. This energetic field will find the right recipient with absolute certainty. It doesn't matter if the person knows you're thinking of them or where they are located; thought-energy isn't bound by time or space. It always hits the mark. These positive energies then act upon the receiver—revitalizing them as much as they are willing to accept. If they can't receive it immediately because they are stuck in a negative headspace, that energy simply stays in their aura, waiting in their soul's field until they call it back with positive thoughts.

On the flip side, if we think negatively about someone, we create a negative energetic field. Sending out thoughts of hate or envy creates independent entities that head toward that person to exert influence. If the recipient is thinking along the same lines, resonance occurs. A shared energetic complex begins to pulse and vibrate, amplifying those negative thoughts. This can create actual "thought clouds," leaving a person feeling lost in the fog. When this happens, they lose the ability to see others for who they truly are and fail to recognize the good in those around them. This often leads to arguments or even physical confrontations. However, if the sent negative energy finds no resonance in the recipient—meaning there is no "match" for it—then they won't fall under its influence. Of course, highly sensitive people might still feel the negativity of others, experiencing it as a slight prickling sensation or an unexplained sense of unease.

Eric Scott65 said:How am I supposed to know if it’s actually the right one?
And honestly, the worst part is I was already scheduling sessions with two different people, only for both of them to push me back because of their "business trips."
Does this mean they aren't the "right" teachers for me? And is there even such a thing as a "Right" one out there?
Plus, the One above isn't sending anyone my way.... 🙂 🙂

What should I do?? 🙂 🙏

Only Jesus Christ is the true teacher. Just trust in Him and don't be afraid.

Just a random self-diagnosis, though.
Is there actually a reliable way to diagnose this, and how do people usually manage their symptoms?

Thanks!

Thanks for the effort. My sister’s marriage fell apart because of her mother-in-law's constant bullying, and I'm honestly at a loss for how to help her. She just sits there, completely lifeless and withdrawn. She's leaning on medication, but I know that isn't a long-term fix. She needs to find something to live for instead of just dwelling on everything that happened in the past.

I'm assuming it helps calm your nerves or something. My sister uses it, so I'd love to know what it actually does.

I'm not trying to get deep here, just saying it works for ME.

And I don't plan on doing this forever... my metabolism is slow enough as it is, I'd end up looking like a frail old lady if I did. 😁

Besides, if I fail, it won't be the first time. :buca: 🙂

They aren't bad, I've tried them myself. I actually need something to help me gain weight. 🙂 But they are pricey.

Have they made it out to St. Louis yet?

It’s actually worse than when it breaks out on my lip.

I'm applying some silly Viractin ointment, but it isn't really doing much.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of this as fast as possible?

I have one, but honestly, I know you probably wouldn't listen to me anyway, so I won't even bother telling you.
The growing trend of smoking bans in Health ·

Starting March 29th, Ireland is banning smoking in pubs, restaurants, and workplaces... Violators will face fines of $3,000!
Not a single EU member state has opposed this law.
Time will tell if this becomes a trend across Europe.
What do you think? Should America pass a similar law?

They definitely should... really crack down on them. Let them deal with the consequences later.😁

Those traditional cultures have always been rooted in this land, learning how to live in total harmony with nature.
Meanwhile, the rest of the West lives right next to nature but chooses to just pop pills and ignore the warning signs, relying on synthetic vitamins instead... I won't go any further before I start spiraling into economics, politics, and healthcare... I'll lose my mind.

So... things are actually moving.

I know quite a few people like that. To be honest though, I don't know anyone who has actually tried acupuncture. Personally, the idea of being poked with those needles scares me a bit.🙂

The only thing I'd really be interested in is getting a great massage from a Chinese practitioner.😉
