New fan laws: What do we think?

Look, just stop throwing flares. Honestly, go out and rob a few million instead; at least the penalties aren't nearly as bad.

I left for the same reason I leave almost every discussion on LES (like that one about the unwritten rules for men)—because people either lack the will or the actual brainpower to argue using logic instead of just taking cheap shots at someone personally.
Look, I know I'm an idiot. Every once in a while, some topic on LES catches my eye and I dive in, only to end up regretting it every single time. 😳
As for the thread I started, that was triggered by the general vibe of users on LES lately—everyone acting like they're some god-tier lover or a perfect, insatiable pro. It wasn't specifically because of colbert. Honestly, I didn't even see her posts aimed at me as a provocation, even though I usually disagree with her.
Since I'm still lurking in that thread, I'll answer here: that's Dell in the photo, and if you saw Phibsov's and Apophis's photo, it would probably shatter your preconceptions even more, assuming Dell managed to pull it off with his. 😉

Look, my way of thinking is solid. It’s been field-tested. I wouldn't be able to hold down the job I have if I couldn't take a pile of raw data, tear it apart, synthesize it on the fly, and make the right call every single time. If I wasn't capable of that kind of quick, accurate analysis, I wouldn't be sitting here. Simple as that.
Just so we’re clear—my job isn't something I'm going to be discussing on this thread or any other. So, don't even bother trying to steer the conversation that way. Save your breath.
Basically, we're looking at a total shot in the dark here.
This is a whole different ballgame. I mean, sure, there are some surface-level similarities to what I was saying before, but we’re talking about something entirely different here. We're talking about a diagnosis for a severe mental illness. That changes everything.
Question—do you actually have the credentials to be making claims like that?
If you actually are, how exactly are you handling your internship?
Would you actually pull this stunt at your job?
If not them, then who else here thinks they have a problem?
You're asking me the exact same thing I already complained about on this thread. Seriously?
For most people, that’s the exact moment things hit a wall—the second the person on the other end says, "Hey, you offended me."
When it comes to what people colloquially call a small and thin dick, things get complicated fast. Everyone on this thread seems to act like having one means you’re basically broken or non-functional. It’s a rigged game. If you’re reading this and you don't meet the "forum-approved" standard for size, you're stuck. You don't have a choice. Everyone else? They’ve got options. The heavy guys can lose weight, the skinny guys can bulk up, people can get breast surgery, nose jobs, whatever—they can tweak their look. But if you're dealing with that specific issue, there isn't a quick fix. You're just left sitting there.
That’s just plain wrong. Saying they aren't functional is a lie. Sexual dysfunction isn't some direct reflection of how long a guy is equipped, and performance issues hit everyone just the same, regardless of size. But I know if I say that out loud, I'm just asking for a mob mentality reaction. 🙂 "You've come here to explain things to us"—honestly, this whole thread feels like a bunch of thirteen-year-olds bickering during recess. It’s that exact level of immature back-and-forth, except it’s happening on a public platform where everyone can see it. Not exactly my finest hour.
Once mod / Supermod, always a Mod/Supermod? This whole attitude—acting all high and mighty like "you mere mortals can't touch me"—that comes from you, Colbert, and ZgSash. It’s part of the recurring problem here. If you were relatively new to a forum, you’d definitely notice it, though that doesn't mean you'd actually fight back against that mindset. ZgSash takes it even further, smugly claiming that only losers would care about someone with a small and thin dick that doesn't meet certain "forum standards." Is that a public insult? Is there any sanction for that? Let's say some girl says she has a great body (if you can even call it that), but she has standards for the guy she sleeps with, and she won't settle for less—because, hey, knows she won't be satisfied that way. It’s pure mythology. And I hate myths, which is why I'm making such a big deal out of this.
I suggested we see who stands behind certain views because I think people might be surprised by the results.
That doesn't mean sensitive people aren't allowed to chime in on any topic. It just means they're going to get provoked in the exact same way, mostly by the same small group of people, of which you're one of the ringleaders.
Yeah, it's not. You don't even have to bother if you don't feel like it.
There's also the easy way out: I just walk away. I won't be the first or the last to do it. I'm still weighing whether it's the right move, but most likely it is, since my free time isn't exactly infinite anyway.
Linda Price5 said:I usually hang around this thread just out of the goodness of my heart, which is probably obvious since I’m constantly having to explain that you don't treat bacterial infections with fungal meds. It should be common sense, right? But honestly, basic education is a joke these days—including that middle school biology they teach us. Some people just have nobody to ask. Others are too embarrassed to ask. And then there are those who’d get a beating from their old man if they actually went to a gynecologist to ask real questions, because apparently, in their world, doctors are just hookers. Or some doctors are just total hacks who don't give a damn and try treating chlamydia with Johnson & Johnson. I even heard about one case. Plus, some people just don't know how to use Google.
That post didn't piss me off; it was actually kind of funny. 🙂
Linda Price5 said:So the point is, if I want to troll while acting like a complete idiot, I just need to become a moderator so I can do it without getting punished, and then I can act all high and mighty about being so cool? 😁
wanderingbadger44@ said:What I'm wondering now is, since Linda Price5 is being such a total crybaby about the forum rules—rules that I'm pretty sure apply to you too—would you actually get banned for a post like this?
Linda Price5 said:Look, here's what I'm getting at: why was joking around actually okay on this Reddit back in the day—even when things got heavy—but now everyone acts like you can't have a sense of humor? I don't get it. Is it because people who can't actually defend an opinion don't know how to set up a Blocker, so they just end up clicking on ads more than the smart asses who use sarcasm to make a point?
Linda Price5 said:Look, you're just trolling at this point. This isn't even an answer to my question. 😘
Linda Price5 said:I've got a question for you guys. 😍
If Jack walked in here right now, rounded up a bunch of moderators, and told them to decide on a general direction for where this whole site should head—what would that vibe even be?
For instance, I remember this exact post with a grin on my face from back in 2004, but if I posted it today, I’d probably get slapped with a ban for trolling.
Sure, maybe it's perfectly fine to encourage communication that feels like talking to some DMV clerk. Just "good morning," here's your form, here's your clipboard, thanks, bye. That's the standard.
Or maybe just rename the site to "The DMV Attack" so everyone knows that if you try to be chill or joke around, you're dead in the water. Like, any hint of irony gets you penalized. Or would that be considered trolling too? Would we all just have to ban ourselves at that point? 😁
