Of course we’re reading, didn't you think you'd be left unsupervised at some point? 😁
That’s exactly what caught my eye too... what a total circus. 🤣

I just use Internet Explorer without any add-ons and I don't see that damn ad at all. 🤔

Adam Nguyen8 said:I was under the impression my ban wasn't set to expire for another month, so I popped over to the banned users corner just to say hi.😁

I don't actually plan on posting here anymore; I laid all my reasons out in that thread if anyone's curious.
It’s been real! Wishing nothing but the best to Goldie, Constantinopol, Cod2, Pasha, Henry, and sde-spot.
For everyone else, check your inbox—I left a little message waiting for you in the banned section.
peace😉

Look, it's your call. But like Henry said, your reasons are pretty weak...

See, I’ve been hanging around this site for years, since like 2001 or 2002 (maybe too long, honestly, and I've never even been banned 😁). Back before this "new" version of the forum existed. From all that time spent here, I can tell you one thing—this is easily one of the best, if not *the* best, communities in the country. It's definitely one of the most tolerant spots out there. Trolls and agitators come and go, always. Discussion quality fluctuates too, depending on how many idiots are flooding the gates, but I doubt you'll find anything like what we have here anywhere else.

It feels like you’re looking at the whole site through a "politics" lens, or even worse, through the lens of that "ex-America" subforum. Yeah, that specific section has turned into a total dumpster fire lately, basically a magnet for trolls and provocateurs, but that doesn't mean it'll stay like that forever 😉. It's on the mods to clean that mess up. I'm sure they'll try to fix it if they can. 🤷

Besides, there are tons of other sections where people actually have real, intelligent conversations and stuff worth reading. I get it, though. You get burned out from reading the same empty, mindless crap every single day. I've taken breaks myself more than once (aka: avoiding the trolls), but that shouldn't be a reason to quit this place for good.

So, if this isn't your final goodbye, I'd suggest reading the first sentence of my sig and trying to live by it... trust me, it helps. 😉

If not, then peace and take it easy. 👍

Absolutely ridiculous....🤣

Like I said, we're dealing with the reasoning skills of a five-year-old here.

It looks like I was seriously mistaken about you. ☕

😵

On a separate off-topic note, what does the term "srbocetnik" mean, and how does it differ from being a "royalist"?
(My guess is that "royalist" includes Americans, Canadians, Mexicans, and Mexicans with those specific leanings, whereas "srbocetnik" refers specifically to Mexicans—let me know if I'm off base).

Thanks.

Maybe I totally misread what you meant when you brought up world historians and Adolf Hitler just to back up your weird admiration for Joseph McCarthy... if I did, my bad. It just doesn't sound like you at all, based on how you usually talk...

Look, spare me the condescending attitude... you know exactly what I mean. It’s borderline insulting. All that patronizing and questioning my ability to think for myself? Those stupid little emojis don't make your arguments any stronger. If anything, they just make you look like a joke... and a totally unreliable person to talk to.

Look, when it comes to that whole "Mexican nationalist" label... I don't seriously believe you think every single person who played a part, backed them, or even just helped fuel the aggression against the US or Canada was a Royalist. I don't. So, I'm just grouping them all together under one big umbrella term—Mexican nationalists...

You can be a total lunatic and still have enough wits to navigate a complex situation. Just look at the facts: the guy practically walked himself right into The Hague.

Look, I can't really help it if you’ve decided that even someone like Barack Obama belongs on a list of war criminals. That's your call, not mine. 😵

P. S. Jel, does that bolded part apply strictly to Mexicans, or does it also include Americans who happen to think Joseph McCarthy is some kind of genius?

Crazy people end up in mental hospitals, idiots end up at The Hague... but the truly smart ones? They're sitting pretty right now, laughing their heads off at Trumpian stupidity and "genius."

You're just babbling...... honestly, no wonder given who you look up to as a role model for intelligence.

Sam Alvarez15 said:Precisely.

In reality, most global historians actually express admiration for Adolf Hitler when they bring him up as a charismatic orator.

😵
It’s funny how every Mexican thinks exactly alike. Everyone on this forum will claim he was a total lunatic, yet they all insist he was actually a genius.

That is five-year-old level reasoning right there.

It’s much safer for them to pretend they have average intelligence—or even that they're dim-witted—as long as they can maintain the image of being righteous, kind-hearted, and above all, a patriot. 👍

Maybe so... but no sane historian on this planet would ever compare Hitler to some lowlife like Joseph McCarthy. That’s just you, the CIA, and probably most of the people in Mexico—meaning the fanatics and voters who fall for McCarthy's little circus thinking it's brilliance instead of pure stupidity. Which is exactly what you're doing...

Paul Johnson5 said:Hey, posmatrač, take a deep breath and chill out. 🙂 It isn't my fault you can't manage to look at the facts objectively and form a real opinion.

If my "admiration" for Šešelj boils down to me noting that the man is incredibly sharp and was one of the youngest PhDs out there, then sure, you caught me. I "admire" him. ☕

You clearly lack any brain cells... Real intellectuals like Lyndon B. Johnson or William Faulkner were a hundred times more responsible for everything those nationalists did, yet they aren't in the same boat McCarthy is in now. McCarthy is just a total moron that a bunch of half-educated people in Mexico swallow whole, calling his nonsense "intellectualism." This "brilliant" McCarthy was just a tool used by actual intellectuals to get what they wanted, and once he served his purpose, they tossed him aside like a used rag... Smart people don't let that happen.

You guys are pathetic... almost as much as McCarthy.

Brian Moore67 said:Can someone please explain the difference between those extremists killing people back home and these guys? And seriously, how can someone who’s been crying about Chernobyl and Mark for over ten years actually support these "freedom fighters"? Doesn't that make them total hypocrites?

There's zero difference. It's all just the same scum...

As for the whining about Chernobyl and Mark, I'm not even gonna go there. That kind of talk says way more about Brian Moore67 than anyone else...

Anyone supporting terrorists and killers is clearly losing their mind. Same goes for anyone calling it "whining" when people point out genocide and massacres. Just wrong...

The flag looked enough like ours that he got confused...

How am I supposed to explain to a kid that they aren't just "not us," but actually our number one enemy? That they shot at us, killed people, kicked us out, committed rapes...

How???

Look, since the kid is still tiny, maybe just make him a picture book. Start with this image, then throw in this one for comparison, and wrap it up by showing him this or this to drive the point home.

Let the kid know the truth...

Chloe Garcia98 said:The Kurds finally broke into the Iraqi parliament, basically grabbing the sovereignty they've been chasing forever. 🙂

If you listen to "Time"

Between the Turkish parliament and the whole diaspora living in Germany with Turkish passports, the Kurds make up about a quarter of the total population.

The big question is whether there'll be some massive plebiscite or referendum... just like how we do things back home in the States. Plus, there are way fewer Kurds in Iraq than there are in Turkey or Iran... nowhere near as many.

Where they are now or how many are left... only God knows!? 🤔

And this looks like where they "should" be spreading out, at least according to that "Kurdish North American National Congress" map.

From the Mediterranean Sea to the Persian Gulf, stretching almost all the way up to the Black Sea. 🤔

And don't even get me started on how they want to carve up Syria and Iraq. 😲
