That’s a legendary film from the 1930s. I caught a clip of it once—years ago, actually. I was recently reading up on the director again, and since people claim his entire filmography is top-tier, I'm wondering: where can I actually track this down? Or even just stream it?🙄

I've heard the score is absolutely phenomenal, too.

Ron Perlman is top-tier. The villains? Pretty mediocre—except for that Nazi guy, who was genuinely disturbing... even if his fight choreography was excellent (reminded me of Ray Park). The blue fire effects look great, but there wasn't nearly enough Abe Sapiens. Plus, the ending felt weak—they lean so hard into the supernatural stuff, only to wrap it up with a basic display of brute force and explosions. It could have been much better.

The direction felt scattered.🙄 Certain elements just didn't connect.🙄
