Here’s the deal: most sales managers usually pull in a decent base salary plus a commission—somewhere in the ballpark of 5 to 10% on sales. Whether the deals actually go through you or not... I don't know, maybe it matters, but honestly? It might not. I mean, if people start trying to bypass you just to dodge the cut, you’ve gotta figure out how to protect yourself from that.
Just be specific about what we're actually talking about.
I mean, I’m starting to feel like cancer isn't actually contagious.
If you’re dealing with someone who is terminally ill and actually needs support from those around them, but instead you have an environment full of people constantly whining and acting like they're the ones being victimized too... honestly, you just need to get away from people like that.
Yeah, I've seen plenty of sick people dealing with cancer among my own circle of friends...
Extreme situations demand extreme solutions... And honestly, this isn't even one of those cases... To me, the main thing should be telling parents to stop playing the victim... instead of constantly worrying about their little feelings.
Look, you've gotta face your mother and her actual personality head-on... you have to back her into a corner until she's forced to decide if she's going to keep playing the victim and end up alone, or finally step up and change.
There’s no room for democracy or mercy here. She’s acting like a toddler, and that’s exactly how you have to handle her...
As for the rest, regarding the cancer and my sister, just shoot me a private message.
nimbledriver81 said:I agree with everything else being said, but I have to jump in on this one. This thing you’re bringing up? It’s an urban legend. There is NO SUCH THING AS tomatoes with fish DNA. Honestly, this myth has been floating around for years, and people just flat-out ignore the fact that it's been debunked.
Matthew Sullivan32, I think we read the same studies, because I'm pretty sure about this. That's why I mentioned how corporations exploit science—they aren't using it to feed hungry people; they're just using it to profit off their desperation.
Maybe, I'm definitely no expert on this stuff... but that whole perspective and division was actually pointed out to me by a major genetics expert who's part of the National Academy of Sciences.
We really need to nail down some definitions here:
1. Terminator technology—this refers to seeds that can’t be replanted the following year, forcing you to buy more every single season. I honestly think there should be a law requiring companies to sell both types, so people actually have a choice.
2. GMOs that are actually fine, since we've been crossbreeding different species for ages. That’s basically why we even have high-yield wheat today with all those extra grains per stalk.
3. Transgenic food, which is when they take a fish gene and shove it into a tomato just so it won't freeze... that part creeps me out. It's because you're dealing with viruses that can grab genes from their hosts. Since viruses (as far as I know) are split into plant and animal categories, by putting an animal gene into a plant, you're expanding a closed set of mathematical probabilities for new virus strains. One day, we might end up with refrigerators that are completely useless because mold starts thriving in the cold.
Bottom line? As long as we're stuck with folks like Hebrang who have the power to ban products containing GMOs, we don't stand a chance... We'll just have to stick to the local farmers' markets and buy from the Majority of maidens, because at least we know they're just picking stuff straight from the dirt.
So, I’ve got this issue under my armpit... And my doctor actually told me to stay far away from those deodorant sticks, regardless of how much those commercials push them or all that nonsense about being cruelty-free and whatever else...
As for anything else, I guess I don't really know...
I honestly just don't get how you all reached the conclusion that half of Americans are overweight... I personally know very few people who are actually on the heavier side.
In Christianity, there’s this whole idea that suffering actually purifies you—and I guess I could get on board with that, like it opens your eyes to reality. Then you look at psychology, where they say stress can actually boost intelligence (obviously, we aren't talking about extreme, soul-crushing trauma here).
I just think people who have gone through hell and back, and actually managed to climb out the other side, tend to live much deeper, more meaningful lives.
So, look... Regarding the larger amounts, I actually had no idea about that part. Honestly, it probably never caught up to me since I’ve never really gone overboard with it.
The salt thing? People told me to just season it—terrible advice, by the way—and I had no clue it was a no-go... what a mess. The one thing I am certain about is that you shouldn't put any vinegar on it.
As for the rest... I just eat it as a side, like a salad...
About that running stuff, I think it's useful, I guess, but it wouldn't make much sense unless you were pairing it with radish... I mean, the reason is pretty simple... if your lymphatic channels are blocked, you aren't going to just "run" them clear... That's just my take on it... though the last part is purely a hunch on my end...
Man, where are the moderators at to set me straight or tell me I'm right...
I guess your taste buds might just be shifting as you adapt, or maybe the radishes themselves are inconsistent—some being bitter and others not. I can't really say for sure.
Anyway, let me give you another piece of this "total solution." Part of the issue comes down to when impurities don't "drain" through your lymphatic system like they’re supposed to, maybe because of clogged lymph nodes from things like acne or those deep skin bumps. You could probably boost that drainage by getting some cardio in—you know, hitting a stepper or something similar at the gym. Along with that, you should stay hydrated, but don't go overboard drinking plain water like some people suggest, because that can actually flush out your vitamins and electrolytes. Just buy those electrolyte-enhanced waters that are actually designed for that.
It's totally possible I just threw way too many lifestyle changes at you all at once, so just pick whatever actually works for you.
Of course, if I got anything wrong, feel free to have a doctor set me straight...
I feel like if I just bought 330 pounds of apples and tried to crush 22 pounds of them every single day, I’d probably end up in the ER... obviously... It's the same deal with Vitamin C... And with E330 lemon acid... And honestly, with pretty much everything...
I haven't really gone out of my way to experiment with that whole "complete solution" thing myself, but yeah, I know a 16-year-old girl who fixed up everything she needed just using black radish.
As far as how it actually tastes, here's the deal...
You're supposed to eat it like a salad, but you just salt it. No oil, no vinegar (maybe a little lemon juice, I guess, but I'm not entirely sure). One girl told me that adding vinegar might actually ruin a lot of whatever benefits you get from the black radish.
There's also this recipe where you take the radish, hollow it out, fill it with honey, and let it sit for a few weeks. Apparently, that honey is great for fighting off the flu and stuff. I didn't really dig deep into it; that's just what the old ladies at the farmers market told me.
Regarding the flavor—well, an old, aged black radish is pretty bitter, whereas a fresh one is "only" bitter. It’s probably no surprise that they're all tasting extra spicy right now since we just had such a long winter. Maybe try finding someone you actually trust as a source for this stuff. I'm over in Brooklyn, New York City, so I can check with the vendors around here to see what they've got in stock and let you know if that works for you.
So, I was actually thinking about this 😉, especially since it’s all part of a larger picture I've been piecing together, but I didn't exactly go out and start experimenting on people... uh
Hey, look... can we just stop fighting for a second? 😢
Everyone’s got their own trauma and their own way of dealing with it. I guess that’s just how it works.
The girl who started this thread was honestly just looking for some advice for a friend. Wouldn't any of you want someone like that in your corner when things finally go south?
Look, I was just messing around because amidst this absolute mountain of problems, someone actually thinks they can pull a fast one and scam people out of their money (which is something I would never do, obviously—I’m probably the most honest guy you'll ever meet)...
I mean... just picture being a psychiatrist for a second...
first thing in the morning, you've got some guy dealing with schizophrenia he's been fighting for five or six years... so you're just sitting there listening to him ramble about satellites and aliens...
then, maybe two vets with PTSD roll in, talking about combat and guts and all that gruesome stuff they saw over there...
after that, there's a woman with a bruised eye because her husband beat her for the fifth time this month... I guess...
and then finally, you get the guy who literally wet himself because someone made a threat against him...
