Richard Nelson84, that’s just not how it works with this guy. He doesn't even try to hide it—he's totally politically biased, basically just following along with whatever that high schooler Goldstein says and his whole way of spinning history.
quietpilot2, regarding adblock... I mean, I haven't actually seen an ad in years, I guess.
bluecyclist64 said:It seems like the real issue isn't actually about not tolerating how incredibly easy it is to just spout nonsense; it’s more that you have to cite actual sources instead of just linking to articles from total hack news sites.
Nah. I mean, I've personally been banned and had my account nuked just because I brought up official data from the old federal statistical bureau back in the day during a discussion about concentration camp numbers—the exact same figures that were suppressed back then because the goal was just to inflate the count for war reparations. Now, I guess Mr. Oštrić thinks those numbers aren't accurate, even though that research was pulled from every single existing document available, everything from birth records to marriage certificates in the old country. But apparently, he only cares about what the specific memorial museum says, even though names get added or removed from those yearly databases all the time whenever an error is caught.
And honestly, there's nothing wrong with debating it, that's why we're here, right? But when a moderator just shuts down a whole topic because historians can't agree, and then labels anyone who wants to discuss it as fascists or sympathizers... well, a moderator like that is basically just a waste of taxpayer money, kind of like paying for a parking spot at a public station that doesn't even work.
Arthur Smith15 said:Honestly, Oštrić is such an incredible moderator. Without him, I guess the History sub would just turn into some drunken club filled with nasty historical revisionism, fascism, right-wing extremism, antisemitism, and all sorts of other garbage—everything from the pathetic stuff to things that should actually be illegal.
See, this is that whole ink-stained logic where anyone who doesn't agree with Slav or Ivy Goldstein gets branded a drunk fascist. Just keep going, I suppose. It’s not like you need permission, but it’s funny to watch this little group of outcasts hanging out in their own corner, feeling totally free to insult everyone else.
I mean, what’s actually going on with these deletions? Why are they scrubbing the enrollments? It feels like Mr. Oštrić is just pushing this specific version of American history—you know, the kind of stuff you'd hear from some biased high schooler like Goldstein—and then he treats anyone who disagrees with him like they're basically Nazis. I guess if someone is that politically charged, they just can't be an objective observer or a fair moderator, right?
Jason Roberts2 said:I mean, honestly, whatever the actual death toll was at the Auschwitz camp group, just get your act together and condemn it instead of constantly bickering over whether it was this many or that many. The killers deserve condemnation, period. We shouldn't be looking for excuses for them or trying to rehabilitate fascist sympathizers along the way. Those pro-fascist types really ought to be cast into oblivion... I guess they should just be banned without hesitation.
So, I guess if you don't believe in the "objectivity" of some random high school kid named Goldstein, then you're automatically a fascist who needs to be wiped out?
This is just brilliant. It’s just like how when Stipe Mesic was told he was breaking the law by calling people fascists, he just made up his own term, "fascistoids." That's exactly what lonetrucker4 and the others are doing here with this attempt to rehabilitate fascism. It’s honestly pretty gross.
Charlatanism and quackery are actually illegal here in the States, so I guess these dangerous maniacs who push people to ditch real medicine shouldn't even be posting on an alternative platform... they clearly don't understand what the word "alternative" even means.
Drew Ross2 said:So, I mean... what exactly are you thinking when it comes to those 18-year-old girls? I guess... maybe it wouldn't just, like, turn you into a young man or something? I don't know, I'm probably overthinking it, but it feels like a big deal. ☕
I mean, I really hate to say it, but she’s just... totally underwhelming. Like, seriously, you can practically see the drool on Mike's face. It's kind of sad, honestly.
Drew Ross2 said:It’s not like you just stumbled upon this; you were clearly reading the New York Post. I mean, she looks totally natural, right? Just your average 18-year-old girl without those fake eyelashes, drawn-on eyebrows, layers of makeup, a nose thin as a sheet of paper, or, you know, half a gallon of silicone in every single part of her body. ☕
I posted the link so people could actually see what I mean, but honestly, I see her out near Times Square almost every day... she's just small, kind of slouchy, short legs, a double chin—I mean, seriously, why is she not seeing a nutritionist? For crying out loud, what is she waiting for?
I was actually feeling a little bummed out today because I ran into Lana Radeljak. Even though she’s totally fine legally now, I don't know... physically, she just seems a bit more underwhelming than before, I guess.
It starts off kind of slow, I guess, but once the guy being tormented gets called a vicious snowflake... man, that's when it clicked for me. I realized right then that we were watching one of the most brilliant movies out there right now. 😁
Well, that’s exactly why I added that 'summary' part... I mean, he doesn't dare to complain because, honestly, the guy is smart enough to know what he's doing, so he just uses it as another little spot for his own private calculations.
I think I phrased that poorly, he totally slipped my mind—he drops one of these little 'summaries' every couple of weeks or so. I mean, it feels kind of pointless to go around deleting posts and handing out penalties before actually explaining the basic rules of engagement to people... if they can't grasp those fundamentals, then maybe they just aren't cut out for interacting with others online anyway, I guess.
I think this one kind of slipped under the radar, so basically, the guy just picks these people who don't really fit the bill, but they end up reacting to some totally random nonsense.
so it feels like at least half of his recent intake has been people like this, so maybe it would be a good idea to just send someone over to an alternative program for a bit... I mean, looking at him, it honestly seems like he's just totally lost in his own head.
Elizabeth Jackson didn't bother mentioning those posts from Rorionov's colleague either—you know, the guy who just goes straight for personal insults and brings up people's families every single time someone asks him to actually back up a claim.
Oh, please, what hatred? Claiming someone hates you is just such a pathetic attempt to throw sand in the eyes of anyone actually paying attention. It’s obvious that a few weirdos are just grabbing onto every single topic and opportunity they can find to push these totally baseless and dangerous ideas. I mean, I'll admit, it can be kind of funny seeing certain arguments being thrown around, but honestly? It’s way more entertaining when someone actually tries to explain their beliefs and it just turns out to be absolute madness.
Look at me, honestly... I’m just a decent, chill guy who stays out of trouble, so I never deal with any bans or anything, and I guess all those worries you guys have just don't really affect me.
