OB/GYN Discussion Thread in Women's Health ·
That’s just one person's subjective take, if you ask me.
😬Seconds feel like they're stretching into hours...

What is wrong with you people? Seriously... 🙄They are actual doctors, for crying out loud.

Honestly, I’ve had much better experiences dealing with men... they tend to be more tender, more attentive
After two women, I found myself saying "never again" 😳

As for getting undressed? I don't have an issue with that... it's not like I'm there specifically to act as his personal entertainer
Jose Miller3 said:I didn't really get the impression that we're talking about a phobia here; it feels more like simple travel fever to me...

If they're popping Valium like candy, then sure, let's call it "phobic travel fever" if that makes you feel better. 😁

I actually dealt with two similar cases nearby where people headed to the coast totally drugged up... and honestly, it was a total disaster for them. 😢
Jose Miller3 said:I am honestly stunned. I can't wrap my head around the idea that someone would get hit with such intense anxiety just driving from New York to Los Angeles.🤔 😕 :krizase:

And what's even harder to swallow is that you actually suggested Valium !?!?!?!? Seriously? What are we supposed to suggest when life throws a truly catastrophic crisis at someone? That they go looking for the nearest bridge???

For people dealing with various phobias, everything feels equally terrifying—whether it's a long car ride, running to the corner store for bread, or jumping off a cliff.
It isn't some freak occurrence.

What *is* unusual here is simply that she didn't prepare herself beforehand for a situation she knew was going to be stressful.
I really hope you aren't the one behind the wheel 🙂
John Perez13 said:but I also forgot to mention that my boyfriend is pretty well-endowed, both in length and girth, so quickies are basically off the table most of the time—so I figured that could be part of the issue too (it hits right where it hurts)

Honestly, at this point, the whole thread has gone completely off the rails.🤣
Chloe Garcia98 said:I’m not complaining; I just think it’s way more straightforward to ask a professional instead of wading through a bunch of random nobodies on an internet forum.😁

But this way is much more entertaining.😬
Look... like I’ve said before, I see him pretty regularly and everything seems fine.
I make it a point to go incredibly consistently, and honestly, everything works perfectly fine 😁
Sophia Martinez65 said:Maybe it’s not just a physical issue—maybe there’s some other obvious reason for the pain... 😬

The reality is, we're looking at relationship issues and a genuine fear of intimacy. 😉 😬
Okay, but how did it even get in there... I mean, I deal with this constant pain in my stomach, specifically right where the appendix is located
I’m right there with you... these things tend to flare up for a few days at a time and then just sort of fizzle out

Absolute pure delusion.😳

And what makes you think we'd be lucky enough to see one of yours?😁

Some places actually post their price lists online... but honestly, most of the time you have to go through an initial consultation and a full exam first. Only then will they give you a concrete quote for the specific procedure you're looking at
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Look, I’m not saying you gain fat FROM taking pills... I mean, obviously not. What I’m talking about is that damn water retention and the bloating—that's where the scale goes haywire. It's just pure fluid weight.

Fair enough, but seriously, how much can the scale actually swing? My face and ankles were looking completely swollen... I mean, how many pounds are we even talking about here? 😁
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Yeah, that’s me—the second to last one on the list. Exactly. I was just looking back at my history and seeing how much my weight fluctuated depending on which pill I was on. I went through the Stediril M phase (definitely my heaviest period), then moved to Celest (which seemed to trigger more cellulite issues), and finally settled on Yasmin—where I actually dropped about 13 pounds without even touching my diet. But whatever, we’re getting off topic here.

Now, if you ask my OB-GYN, they’ll tell you straight to your face that these pills don't have a single calorie in them.🙂
Yet, if you actually read the fine print on the Yasmin packaging, it claims it causes the least amount of water retention... which has to be a massive win in my book, considering Celest left me feeling completely bloated and swollen all the time.🙄

Luckily, things worked out with the leadership... I hope.

And why exactly are you hoping?

If he doesn't suit your needs, just find someone else... there's absolutely no need to start making up diagnoses for him. 😉
