CONCACAF Gold Cup 2019 in Soccer ·
Between the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the Women's World Cup, and Copa América, things have been absolutely stacked lately. But yesterday, we kicked off yet another major tournament—the Gold Cup, which is the big one hosted by CONCACAF.

The whole thing runs from June 15th through July 7th. We've got 16 teams split up into four groups, and the hosting duties are shared between the USA, Jamaica, and Costa Rica.

GROUP A

1. Mexico
2. Canada
3. Martinique
4. Cuba

GROUP B

1. Bermuda
2. Costa Rica
3. Haiti
4. Nicaragua

GROUP C

1. Curacao
2. El Salvador
3. Honduras
4. Jamaica

GROUP D

1. Guyana
2. Panama
3. Trinidad and Tobago
4. USA

Yesterday saw some action in Group A, where Mexico absolutely crushed Cuba 7-0, and Canada took care of business against Martinique with a solid 4-0 win.
Ukraine just leveled the score, they're actually playing some great football right now.
After blowing it by losing the rights to the national team games and UEFA Euro 2020, the public broadcaster is still trying to make up for it with some pretty unusual coverage—like the FIFA U-20 World Cup Final between Ukraine and South Korea.

The game is on HRT 2 right now. We're about 20 minutes in, and they're playing out of Lodz, Poland. South Korea is currently holding a 1-0 lead.

The stadium is absolutely packed.

I mean, honestly, I didn't expect anything else.

You’re honestly such a joke...

Claiming it damages the reputation of the Catholic Church and that they want to avoid any links to fascist ideologies.
I’ve been taken aback more than once by how much of a gap there is between our clergy and, say, the German clergy.

The German clergy is basically just run by Masonic types; you see it all the time with those loose cannons like Casper and Shonborn—total heretics.

The only two Germans I actually respect are Joseph Ratzinger and Miller.

Honestly, this was such a blast to watch—a total, high-octane blockbuster.
Hunter Killer (2018) in Movies ·
I know what you're thinking—people are always going to complain that Gerard Butler basically just spends his career starring in trashy action flicks where he’s constantly playing the hero saving the President or some other high-stakes VIP. But honestly, I went into Hunter Killer yesterday with zero expectations, just looking for something to kill time with, and I have to say, I actually had a blast. It’s this submarine thriller that feels like a mix of the classic Red October vibe and the intensity of 24 (though maybe with a few more plot holes), and it really held its own.

Besides Butler, you’ve got a solid cast including Gary Oldman, Common, and Linda Cardellini. In this one, Gerard is tasked with saving a Russian leader who, if I'm being totally honest, looks exactly like a certain famous American football coach. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If you're a fan of spy thrillers, naval warfare, or just good old-fashioned American military action, I definitely recommend giving this one a watch. 😁

TRAILER
Honestly, it feels like this is pretty much a done deal at this point. 😁

Word on the street is that Quentin Tarantino has been hanging around Paramount for days now. He’s reportedly teaming up with the screenwriter behind The Revenant and the heavy hitters over at Paramount + J. J. Abrams to cook up a story for a massive Star Wars film.

They’ve already given him the green light to go with an R rating, and there’s even talk about Patrick Stewart potentially returning to his role as Picard, especially since he killed it alongside Xavier in Logan.

Bottom line? I'm holding out hope that we see Sylvester Stallone and Harvey Keitel in the mix too. 😁
Most critics are just total morons dealing with some serious inferiority complex...

Sausage Party

This latest project features Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill, but instead of their usual live-action stuff, they’ve gone with an animated style. At first glance, it looks like something straight out of a Pixar movie, except it’s packed with crude humor and constant vulgarity. 😁

image

Basically, the plot follows the life of a single hot dog as it uncovers a massive conspiracy involving the genocide of all the groceries—we're talking potatoes, tomatoes, pizza, and pretty much any other sentient food item. 😁

Honestly, one of the funniest bits from the trailer is the exchange between a sausage and a roll of Toilet paper when they start talking about what humans are actually like. XD

Lay's: What did they do to you?
Toilet paper: You don't wanna fucking know...

The movie hits theaters on August 12th, and you can check out the trailers below.

If Apophis actually showed up, he'd probably just wipe out the whole Shol'vama crew in one go... 😉 😁

Man, that movie was a total blast. I honestly had such a great time watching it. I’d go as far as to say it actually holds up better than the > franchise. It’s got that specific vibe from those classic 80s and 90s flicks, which just makes it even more enjoyable. Looking at the numbers, a sequel seems like a no-brainer. With a budget of around 17 million USD—and if you factor in another 10 million for marketing, we're looking at maybe 30 million total—it already pulled in 82 million USD here in the USA alone, bringing the global total to 137 million USD.

BTW. Pupa is the GOAT. 🤣

Rambo: Last Blood in Movies ·
For the last year or two, everyone’s been speculating about what kind of mess John Doe would be getting into for his fifth outing. People were guessing he’d be taking on a Mexican drug cartel or maybe some weird genetically engineered mutants, but over the weekend, Sylvester Stallone shut all those rumors down by revealing that Rambo is actually going up against ISIS! 😁 On top of that, according to Stallone, the studio already has specialized teams on the ground in Iraq and Syria gathering intel on ISIS just to make sure the movie feels as authentic as possible. 🤣 No, I'm seriously not kidding. 🙂

image

While he was hanging out at this year's San Diego Comic-Con to promote Creed, Stallone dropped this bombshell: We have reconnaissance teams in Iraq and parts of Syria where ISIS has its strongest strongholds. We're working closely with local authorities to capture the most striking and realistic Rambo film ever made.

When he was asked to dive deeper into the specifics of the project, he wouldn't give an inch, choosing instead to stay focused on promoting Creed.

As it stands, Rambo: Last Blood should be heading into production soon, and based on what he said, we're looking at a Rambo version of The Guns of Navarone.
