The Punisher Trilogy in Movies ·
briskeagle3 said:It’s actually Danish, not North American... honestly, if you'd rather just stick to superhero garbage... maybe your brain isn't quite wired for actual quality anyway.

Man, if my brain isn't "wired for quality," then yours is clearly wired for making cheap personal attacks. Real class act right there. Total champion behavior. 🙄🙄

Jbg, I totally misread The Punisher Trilogy (Lundgren-Jane-Stevenson) and thought it was some random indie flick from the North America. I'll definitely pass on that one. 😁

Accidentally hilarious movie moments in Movies ·
Remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger jams a Rolling Stones track, "Satisfaction," into his convertible right before he starts unloading on the bad guys in Raw Deal? 😁 (Check it out at 2:47 - Oh man! 🤣 )

Oh, and in that same flick, one of the villains asks him what the "P" stands for in his name—John P. Brenner—and Arnie just hits him with "Pussy." 😬

Sergeant Lev Yashin from Rambo 2 😬

By the way, was he played by Vojo Gorić? 🤣

And then you've got Sergeant Kourov (the guy I flipped that military truck 😬 ) from Rambo 3.

I’m not entirely sure if everyone will immediately get what I’m aiming for with this thread, but basically, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane and revisit those iconic villains and henchmen from action flicks and similar genres back in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. You know the ones—those guys who always provided us fans with that specific, weirdly hilarious dose of entertainment just by appearing on screen. 😁

Here are a few examples that come straight to mind. 😁

Brian Thompson playing Night Slasher in Cobra

Sven Ole Thorsen as Thorgrim in Conan

John Dennis Johnson as Waycross in the pink Cadillac

Todd Bryant as Captain Klaa in Star Trek : The Final Frontier 😬

Sabotage (2014) in Movies ·
Right after that prison break with Sly this November in the upcoming action feast Escape Plan, Arnold Schwarzenegger is teaming up with the DEA, playing commando leader John 'Breacher' Wharton in the action thriller Sabotage .

Basically, once Breacher and his squad hit a drug cartel's safe house and make off with millions of dollars in loot, they stash it somewhere secure—only for a mysterious assassin to start picking them off one by one. Of course, that is until they run into Schwarzenegger. 😁

In this flick, starring alongside Arnie, we've got Billy Worthington (Monster), Mireille Enos (Lizzy), Joe Manganiello (Grinder), Terrence Howard (Sugar), Josh Holloway (Neck), Olivia Williams (investigator Carolina Brentwood), Max Martini (Pyro), and Gary Grubbs (Lou Cantrell), all under the direction of David Ayer (the guy behind U-571, Training Day, and S.W.A.T.).

Believe it or not, the movie is partially based on the novel And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. 🤣 It hits American theaters on January 24th next year, and just as a heads-up, it was previously titled Ten and Breacher .

Schwarzenegger's special commando physique is going to be on full display here . 😁 🙏 🙏

BTW, you'll see Ralf Moeller in this one too. 😁 All that's missing now is Sven-Ole Thorsen. 😁

Non-stop [2014] in Movies ·
Before he goes after the last surviving member of the Albanian mob in Taken 3, Liam Neeson is going to be playing a bit of a "Sputnik 57" role. 😁

Basically, hitting theaters on February 28th next year is Non-stop, where Liam plays an air marshal on an international flight traveling between New York City and London. Things get messy when the marshal (played by Bill Marks) starts getting these threatening texts claiming a passenger will be killed every 20 minutes unless the demands of an Unknown perpetrator are met. And the demands aren't even complicated—just wire $150 million to a secret account. 😁

The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who previously teamed up with Liam on Unknown, and it’s produced by Iron Man's wife Susan Downey along with Joel Silver.

Joining Liam in the cast are Julianna Moore, Scoot McNairy, Michelle Dockery, and Anson Mount (who you might recognize as Cullen Bohannon from Hell on Wheels).

Terry Morris41 said:this movie was terrible, honestly a total snooze fest

the only part I actually liked was that one scene up in the mountains

Look, that whole sequence with Snake Eyes and those ninjas felt pretty tedious to me; I was basically just counting down the minutes until that CGI ballet was over. 😁

On the flip side, once The Rock grabs a machine gun and Adriana shows off those curves, now we're talking... 🤣

BTW, the funniest bit during the nuclear launch stuff was definitely that North Korean guy. 😬
G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2012) in Movies ·
Caught Retaliation last night. Honestly, it’s better than the first one, though that’s really not saying much 😁 . It’s definitely not some cinematic masterpiece that’s going to change your worldview 😬 , but it’s solid, mindless entertainment if that's what you're looking for.

Adriana Lima looks great, The Rock has some pretty funny moments going with Tatum and the rest of the cast, and even the action sequences are decent, even if they are completely over the top and unrealistic. 😁 Also, yeah, Cobra Commander looks an awful lot like Shredder. 🤣

Bottom line: if you just want two hours of non-stop action and cool visuals, go ahead and give it a watch. 😉

Look, the movie was alright. 😁 Honestly though, I really missed seeing Jack Bauer out there. 😬
White House Down (2013) in Movies ·
So, looking at the current box office numbers, things aren't looking great. Honestly, this movie is shaping up to be a total financial disaster, right on par with how Lone Ranger completely tanked.

Bryan Mills will return. 😬

Even though I haven't actually sat down to watch the movie yet, given those "impressive" reviews I've been seeing, 😬 I figured I’d just go ahead and spoil the whole thing for myself by reading Michael Jackson10's entire post. Lol, honestly, I had a good laugh—thanks, Michael. 😬 👍

On that note, here is a fitting Ra's al Ghul - Bruce Wayne GIF. 😁
