I mean, you don't see regional markers from Tyrol waving in front of the US Congress, nor do you see Canadian minority symbols being waved before the Slovak Parliament in Budapest....
Well, this one wasn't planted in front of the US Congress, but right in front of the Department of Defense.
And you’re telling me there's "no doubt" it's official? Because at the start of this thread, there was plenty of doubt. So, please, feel free to enlighten us on why this is legitimate and not just the flag of Bobanov’s quasi-state. It always warms my heart when someone decides to play teacher.

Flying a flag without following protocol isn't right...
Personally, it bothered me when they started putting up European Union flags in front of all the federal departments while we were still just a candidate country and hadn't even held the referendum to join. It felt like pressure—psychological pressure, at least.

I am strongly opposed to this...
The US Federal Government can certainly invest in development projects in municipalities where they love that flag—I have nothing against that—but handing out money through such a completely illogical sequence is wrong. From an economic standpoint, it’s disastrous for America.
Funny enough, I just got back from Mostar, where the US Federal Government helped fund the restoration of the local Franciscan monastery library. You can protest and be "strongly opposed" until you're blue in the face for all I care.
Even the friar who showed us around the church and monastery (Friar Iko Skoko) is a professor at the University of Mostar. Over there, the clericalization of higher education is already a done deal. 🙂
