Escape Plan 2: Hades in Movies ·
Jerry Adams71 said:As far as I know, in the States this goes straight to digital release—it's just streaming. Here, they're marketing it like it’s some massive Hollywood blockbuster.

Honestly, I didn't hate the first one at all... I'd probably give it a solid 7/10. As for this one, I only found out about it by accident, and now I see it's hitting Blu-ray soon—which basically means it'll be on the torrent sites in no time.

When I watched the first one—I was expecting just a typical cartoon—but it turned out to be this intense superhero movie... honestly, more like a serious animated drama. It’s the kind of thing parents end up enjoying way more than the kids they brought along thinking it was just some "kid's flick." Actually, these modern animations have become much heavier than live-action movies sometimes—there's so much satire baked into them, it's just that not everyone catches the subtext.

Richard Wilson4 said:I’m honestly stunned by the box office numbers—especially since it took 14 years to get this sequel—I didn't even realize how big the first one actually was.

An animated superhero flick that feels way more grounded than all those live-action ones... Watchmen... Kick-Ass... Incredibles are easily the best superhero movies out there—everything else is just trash.

Is that the one from Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014)... you know, where he wiped out all the firstborn kids in Egypt? It’s wild—people choose the Joker, yet they just overlook this literal child-killer.

Raymond Anderson4 said:So, has it really come to this? We’ve reached a point where movies featuring 300-foot monsters and creatures big enough to eat the Eiffel Tower for breakfast are actually being classified as kids' movies?
🤣

Kids just aren't what they used to be—honestly, not even close. Not that long ago, a 12 or 13-year-old would head straight to the comic book shop after school, but nowadays...

Right. No joke. Makes me want to go grab a burger and forget this tech stuff exists.

On one hand, they're hell-bent on trashing fiat currency... but then they turn around and use that exact same paper to try and anchor the value of digital coins—completely forgetting that a nuclear blast triggers an EMV that wipes out all electronics. Without the tech, there's no crypto... unlike gold...

Actually, gold holds up against radiation even better than lead does...

Gold hit $2,150 today... any experts out there want to weigh in? What’s actually going on with the market??

Renewable energy isn't really a thing—honestly, no energy source actually exists in a vacuum. We’re just looking at transformers... devices that convert one form of energy into another. So, why all this green demagoguery? Even solar power isn't truly "renewable" in the way people claim.

David Richardson67 said:I’m not saying the movie will be bad just because it’s Russian—it’s more that it feels like such an obvious rip-off of American tropes. It doesn't offer a fresh story or a new angle. Plus, since the trailer focuses entirely on action, I don't see much innovation (yeah, I know, that's asking a lot these days)....

So, they take down a UFO and then we get urban warfare—basically Transformers style—which feels pretty played out... at least to me.

I don't carry those kinds of biases.... Seriously.... Band of Brothers.... man, that series was incredible.... it's one of the few things you really have to give NBC credit for..... thanks to them, I've watched tons of top-tier films that aren't even American....

It's about time we saw some Special Forces taking on aliens....🙂

Edward Price6 said:Maybe they'll make it retroactive one day.

But how would they even prove it? Just based on an IP address? For a court case, the police would probably need to seize your actual hard drive.
Relying solely on an IP address is pretty shaky—if you're on Wi-Fi, there's always that chance someone hacked your password and is downloading stuff without you even knowing...
Interview with the Vampire (1994) in Movies ·
Benjamin Moore7 said:It's a solid movie—actually has some decent humor mixed in—but my favorite part has to be the end when Thomas Cruise pops that tape into the car, Pitt starts whining, and then Tom Cruise tells Slater he’s been forced to listen to that crap for centuries.

I totally agree—that's easily the most frustrating part of the whole thing... just constant moaning from Pitt's character. Honestly, the whining is what kills it for me... if being a vampire is such a drag, why not just end it? It wouldn't even be that hard for him to pull it off here, since they aren't portrayed as being quite as invincible as they are in other movies.
It’s completely blocked off... looks like they were running the whole time without any building permits... But you know that one little spot... where you don't just turn right when you walk in, but you have to go a bit further then cut left...
What the cinema in Des Moines does... this topic picks up speed immediately🙂

It’s because the US Army doesn't really want to go toe-to-toe with actual trained soldiers... they prefer fighting people who've barely held a rifle for five minutes before being sent out as cannon fodder—it's the exact same vibe as in

. I honestly can't help but wonder how they would have fared if they were facing off against a group like the defenders of El Paso
