Growing up in rural Appalachia... then by the end of eighth grade... I finally stepped out of the shadows... discovering Mystery Man & Alan Ford... How am I supposed to look at these American nonsense movies now? I watch them purely for the special effects—clinging to the hope that maybe one day, just once, the "bad guy" will actually win at the end... But hey, like a stroke of luck, Hollywood gave us two real gems... Kick-Ass and Watchmen
Where can I get a quick loan? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Once you’ve been burned by a bad deal—or felt the sting of an empty wallet—you learn the hard way. For people just trying to scrape by on a tight budget, it might be better to just ask for a handout instead of taking on debt... honestly, it’s much easier to receive a gift than to owe someone money.

It’s not really about the money itself—it’s about the REPAYMENT... I lent a distant cousin about $15,000 back in 2002... and I've only just seen $11667... and honestly, who's going to compensate me for the stress? Sure, I'll eventually get the cash, but what was supposed to be a short-term thing—just a few years—has dragged on for twenty.

It looks like Quentin Tarantino isn't the only one feeling nostalgic for the Western—we've actually got another remake of The Magnificent Seven on the way.

The Western genre really paved the way for those gritty, NC-17 style vibes...

Honestly, if Gerard Butler just stood at the top of a pyramid in the movie and yelled "THIS IS SPARTA," I’d be perfectly happy.--🙂

It probably won't be any better than that Nicolas Cage one—man, what a disaster that movie was...

Colonel: I didn't come here to protect Rambo from you... I came to protect you from Rambo.🙂

The first Rambo is a gritty action drama centered on combat PTSD

Acting really is one of those professions that matters deeply—it’s vital for humanity, honestly... he wanted to be an actor so badly—while the rest of us? Well, we're basically just fools in comparison.

It’d be best if Stallone just went over there as a volunteer—you know, to actually see what it's like in real life.
Care... so the CIA is basically the sponsor.

Honestly, these 30 minutes alone carry more weight than every single superhero flick we've seen lately... I’m talking about how Thor would just absolutely demolish Iron Man, Captain America, and the rest of them—it wouldn't even be a contest, they'd just be an appetizer for him.

Honestly, this movie captures the reality of the situation better than almost anything else—even if a lot of people choose to look the other way...www.imdb.com/title/tt0079470?ref_=nv_sr_1

In Switzerland, the government doesn't just hand out apartments—but back here, most people grew up in them. Under the old communist regime they basically handed them out to everyone though not quite everyone. If my dad hadn't jumped headfirst into the American capitalist dream when he was 15, we wouldn't have anything to show for ourselves today—whereas many of his colleagues ended up with nothing after doing absolutely zero work. They were just handed jobs, housing, and everything else... damn that communism (it gave some everything and others nothing at all). And honestly, anyone who thinks America could ever be like Switzerland needs to grow up a little bit

It looks like the main villain is some mutated fruit juice trying to turn Stan Lee into a smoothie... Nolan's really biting off more than he can chew here—budget is sitting right around $100 million

Super Ted... I mean, remember how they found an error in his fur during production—so they just tossed him out? It’s wild—then some alien entity grants him a new life... and Mother Nature steps in to give him superpowers, turning Ted into Super Ted

Does anyone else actually remember that cartoon? Honestly, they could probably turn it into a movie today...

I honestly don't get why everyone hypes up Judge Dredd and John Carter so much—both of those movies are just total garbage... like, double the disappointment. On the flip side, Escape Plan was actually great... and if we're talking about those gritty 80s anti-hero flicks, Charles Bronson absolutely destroys them all—he’d eat them up for breakfast and still be hungry for lunch. Still, Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to have that luck where he lands work with top-tier directors, so he definitely has more solid hits than Rambo does.
