You guys are just coming for the cocktails 😂

11:00 PM - Birthday bash at the Amazon (all ticket sales go toward fixing up the Local Rowing Club after that recent fire)

This is gonna be a riot 😁

Need to pick your brains about my grandma.
She's 75, and this is what her labs looked like a few days ago.
Creatinine and urea look pretty high... any idea how to deal with that?

Red blood cells seem fine, but her hemoglobin and hematocrit are low.
How do we fix that?

The doctors there are giving her meds, but honestly, they're just screwing her over.
Grandma's been having quail eggs every morning.
She doesn't really eat much otherwise. Right now, her blood pressure is tanking and she’s totally out of it.
And those people at the hospital won't tell us a damn thing... they just run tests and leave us hanging.

I don't even have the energy to write about when she was actually in the hospital 🙂

Sorry for the long vent.

Here's the scan of the results:

How do I get rid of this... I don't want my links showing up as full pages like this

I'd rather they just show up as windows when I hover over an open program on the Taskbar... you know?

Charles Fox10 said:And what does this thread even have to do with modern Politics?

It’s our "job" to maintain threads—cleaning them up or deleting them when we decide they're pointless or just headed toward a wave of bans.

It’s hardly the only thread to be locked or deleted, so it’s not as if this is some monumental issue.

That’s exactly why I filed this under the history and historical themes PDF...

Honestly, I don't even have the energy to explain myself...
Pointless, really.

have fun

Charles Fox10 said:Not on Politics, certainly. So far, topics like this always end up in the exact same place: a mountain of deleted posts, bans, and empty threads. We really don't need any more of that.

I’m reading your reply and I honestly can't believe it...

So why isn't this part of your "job" as admins or whatever you call yourselves? You know, actually cleaning up the threads?

There's a massive amount of threads like this all over the forum, but sure, let's just find some half-baked excuse to shut this one down instead ☕.

OMFG .

So, I guess this kind of topic doesn't fit anywhere here?

So, I started this thread yesterday over in the history and historical themes section titled:
April 10, 1941 - Independence Day ()

In the few posts people actually managed to get down, there wasn't any insults or anything like that. Just normal stuff.

Then, out of nowhere, the whole thread gets locked for this reason:

I mean, couldn't they have just moved the topic over to the close politics subforum or whatever?
But nah, the second a topic starts getting people worked up, they just shut it down...🤷

Sent a DM to the mod about it too, but of course, no reply. Typical.
Just so you guys know what I'm talking about:

Look, I get it. Some people hate certain topics or just can't be bothered to read them.
But let everyone else have their "debate," right?

Anyway, if they could just move it to close politics...
Because having it locked like this is just useless...☕

The movie was alright, I guess. Just something to kill time with.
But then I saw that Spencer was actually going to blast her 🤦

Inace, Charlize looks pretty 🙏

Honestly, I just lurk in the diaspora forums, I don't actually post there.
But I have noticed how they shut down threads for no damn reason.

Look, you gotta realize that for some people, closing someone else's thread is basically their peak life achievement. ☕
And who are we to stop them? Every idiot needs their little wins, I guess... even if it's just this ☕

Couldn't find any other thread for this, so here goes nothing.

🙏Jinx, Yaya Veceras🙏 🙏

They've got the reconstruction segment on ABC at 10:40 PM tonight... if anyone's actually free and wants to catch some Jinx, might be worth a look.

A little bit of Joy to help you all enjoy life a bit more 😁

Look, just grab an AdBlock for Firefox and then hit up the forum.
The ads are popping up everywhere like crazy...
And don't even get me started on Internet Explorer, it's absolute garbage.

So, finally wrapped up My Name is Earl today 😁
The season finale ended on "To be continued..." which honestly felt unnecessary, but whatever...

Anyway, the show was solid. You can pretty much laugh through every single episode.
Joy and Catalina 🙏

Looks like we’re coming for the brothers from Mexico...

I think the Canadians are gonna pull it off.

God, we are absolutely crushing these little guys... soooooooo easy...

The Cop and 🙏 🙏

The whole referendum thing was rigged from the jump. You don't need a PhD to see through that bullshit.
From everyone I've talked to, about 90% were against it and actually planned on showing up to vote.

This poll just proves I wasn't tripping... the whole thing is nothing but a massive joke, just another way for those traitors sitting on the throne to screw over the people.

well, looks like those Canadians finally bit the dust 😢

So what's the score?
