I know quite a few of you might lose your minds ( 🙄 ) dealing with this much math and philosophy regarding health, but on this thread, at least for me, they seem to go hand in hand...

So, getting back to that concept of 1/0...

We can't truly grasp the value of 1/0... but I suspect our brains, deep in the subconscious, actually understand it. It’s just one of countless "formulas" embedded in the "BIOS software" of our subconscious... a single part of that grand equation of existence.

It's similar to how a computer built by humans can calculate functions that a human being couldn't possibly process manually; the machine uses those functions to perform its operations. In the same way, the brain we use employs functions that we, as conscious individuals, simply cannot comprehend...

While a portion of the brain belongs to our conscious self, the vast majority is simply hidden from us, sheltering so much within its depths...

And perhaps as a person slowly ventures into their subconscious and begins uncovering its secrets, they simultaneously drift away from conscious awareness... much like a train entering a tunnel—the deeper it travels inside, the less it exists in the world outside...

Hallucinations, meditation, various religions—people have long tried to prove there is a thin line between pure madness and true enlightenment. Honestly, maybe it's both...

To reach the deep ocean, you have to leave the shallows behind. But if you go too deep, you might never come back... and while you're stuck in the middle, you aren't even sure where you are...

Maybe the state of schizophrenia, or madness, however someone chooses to label it, is actually just a halfway house between consciousness and the subconscious...

Leaving consciousness to enter the subconscious, abandoning the world you know to step into the totally unknown—isn't it a logical result that this transition would lead to complete disorientation?

The rules of the old world no longer apply, yet you haven't learned the rules of the new world yet—so naturally, they end up clashing together...

And once you’ve fully entered the subconscious and left consciousness behind, how could anyone ever know what you’ve discovered in there? Perhaps autism is simply reaching a place in the brain that is so vivid, intelligent, and perfect that you simply never want to leave...

I mean, it's obvious that nature hides an immense amount of secrets from us, but all those secrets are hardwired into our brains because the brain itself operates based on them... (for the tech geeks out there—forgive my layman's terms here—you can easily embed source code into any program, but extracting it is never quite as simple)

"Remote viewing"—physically sitting in one spot while mentally traveling wherever you desire—has long been proven to exist. Even the CIA admitted to using it, and some results were even validated by other scientists analyzing their data. The mere fact that 99% of this has remained TOP SECRET for thirty years (!!!) (and if you don't believe me, it was even reported in the newspapers once) is enough proof that it's real... and it's tucked away somewhere in our subconscious...
Imagine being able to reach any corner of our galaxy with just your mind... and that's just one of those parapsychological abilities that we now know isn't science fiction, but a reality deeply hidden from us...

If you were to pass away and go to heaven—assuming it's as wonderful as they say—would anyone actually choose to come back to Earth if they had the chance?

frozenangler9 said:That’s a question that could drive anyone mad.

That’s actually what I’ve been trying to get at this whole time...

It’s funny how one seemingly ordinary, simple question can actually lead someone down such a deep rabbit hole. If you really start dwelling on it, it can genuinely push a person to the point where they begin to doubt the very reality of everything around them...

In fact, I think you almost have to detach yourself from reality entirely just to contemplate it—mostly because it forces you to grapple with abstract concepts like nothingness and infinity.

There's this idea that people on the spectrum often possess incredibly high intelligence, while those dealing with schizophrenia might actually grasp the "true meaning of everything." It stands to reason that they would be the ones best equipped to understand the essence of existence—those who believe they truly see it, and those who are constantly striving to find it. After all, they are the ones with the least amount of friction with our standard societal reality...

And honestly, I think that alone is enough to make even an average person lose their grip and wonder, "Wait, who's actually the crazy one here?" 😁

math whiz, what's your take on this latest post? anything to add? any thoughts at all? 🙄 😉

is it tilting? or did it just slip out of place? 😁

Oh, and yeah, just a tiny little detail that pretty much sums up our entire "rigorous scientific understanding of reality"...

The bedrock of science is mathematics...

It’s a body of knowledge passed down and refined through generations over millennia—dating all the way back to that very first Neanderthal who had to figure out if his haul was enough to feed his whole tribe...
A fundamental, primal science that today can practically tell us exactly how many aliens it would take to change a lightbulb on the other side of the universe... 🙄

And yet... this highly advanced science, the absolute pride of human civilization, fails to provide a decent, satisfying answer to one incredibly simple, literal question: what happens when you divide one by zero? (Aside from that classic, evasive "well, it approaches infinity" nonsense 🙄 yes, Professor, and gravity pulls things downward too, so does that count as two? 🙄 )

So, you just sit there, scratching your head without moving a single molecule... 😁

There was this one great line in a Woody Allen film...

"Everyone knows the same truth; our lives are really just defined by how we choose to twist it..."

Now, I know people always say you don't "choose" schizophrenia, but that really opens up a massive philosophical rabbit hole regarding how much control we actually have over our lives versus how much is just predetermined. It’s one of those deep debates—whether we are truly the masters of our own fate or just drifting along. But, putting all that heavy thinking aside, I honestly feel like that specific sentence captures the essence of living with schizophrenia quite perfectly.

The general consensus seems to be that people are either "normal" or "crazy," but in my experience, we’re all actually just constantly oscillating between those two fictional labels. We all exist somewhere in the middle—relatively normal and relatively crazy at the same time. It really just comes down to a question of degree, doesn't it? How much relativity are we talking about? 😁

Science just doesn't have an answer for schizophrenia yet... though, if you look at history, that’s usually the most common reason why science fails to provide a logically sound explanation. It’s either because they haven't found the right answer, or more likely, because they were looking at the whole thing from the wrong perspective entirely.

They say schizophrenia is an inability to distinguish dreams from reality, or fantasy from what's actually happening right in front of us. But honestly, haven't we all felt that sense of displacement at some point? Isn't that little bit of detachment present in everyone? I suppose the real question is just how far that needle swings on the scale before it eventually swings back.

Aren't we all a little bit schizophrenic when we look at the world around us? We tend to view everything through such a narrow lens—just a collection of governments, states, cities, neighborhoods, buildings, roads, and people going about their lives. We get so caught up in worrying about the weather, local politics, gas prices, being late for work, or obsessing over a movie director, a celebrity, a novelist, or some piece of art. But if you step back, isn't that just a tiny fraction of reality? Instead of seeing the grand tapestry of everything happening on this planet—the complex web of living organisms, some massive and some microscopic, all existing in symbiosis and constantly influencing one another through various natural processes—we focus on the trivial. And even that's just a small part of it! We forget about the vast interactions between planets, star systems, galaxies, and the endless cosmic mysteries out there in space. It’s easy to lose sight of the big picture when you're focused on the small stuff.

Isn't that just a fundamental inability to grasp reality? I mean, we're living in the 21st century now. We generally understand that if you were to zoom out on our country a million times—or even zoom in a million times—you’d simply see a vast collection of matter or organisms interacting with one another according to established laws. It's all right there if you look closely enough.

It’s happening again. With all that information tucked away in our heads, most of us spend our entire lives perceiving our "human rituals" and this "artificial environment" as the only reality. Our brains just automatically overlook the fact that everything around us—and even ourselves—is actually composed of billions of tiny individual components, which are themselves just infinitesimal parts of an even larger whole.

It’s much the same way with the brain of someone dealing with schizophrenia; they perceive their own version of reality, a sort of private illusion. They essentially bypass any information or data present within that mind which—according to our standard "rational logic"—would otherwise point out that what they are experiencing is nothing more than an illogical illusion.

Just like Bradley Fisher20 said at the beginning—they say schizophrenia is caused by a biochemical imbalance in the brain, but then again, maybe schizophrenia causes the imbalance...

Something just seizes my face, and before I even have a chance to process the thought that I should probably touch it, my brain triggers this entire chemical-biological-electrical reaction and instinctively sends my hand straight to the spot...
Scientific reality is just too heavy for me sometimes. It honestly gets overwhelming when I start thinking about the billions upon billions of planets hurtling through the vastness of space. It makes it difficult to stay grounded in my day-to-day surroundings. My brain essentially triggers this complex chemical, biological, and electrical reaction that chooses to ignore all those cosmic facts, instead presenting my immediate social environment to me as the only true reality.
Social reality is just getting to be too much for me... and then, damn it, it’s one jump after another. My brain essentially triggers this massive chemical-biological-electrical reaction that completely ignores the actual data, only to present me with something else entirely and pass it off as reality.

Throughout history, whenever humanity reaches that tipping point where we think we’re finally on the verge of uncovering "all the answers," we quickly realize we haven't even begun to grasp the full picture. It turns out our latest breakthroughs often clash head-on with everything we thought we knew about how the world works. It's a recurring cycle, really. Even today, modern science seems convinced we're just one discovery away from total clarity. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if, twenty years from now, we look back and realize we were completely off base regarding almost everything we currently consider established knowledge. History has a funny way of repeating itself like that.

So, look, the Earth was flat, but now it's round... maybe it turns out to be 167-dimensional 😁 ...right up until we hit the next "threshold of all answers," where we might suddenly realize the Earth is actually flat again, but we just convinced ourselves it was round because we couldn't wrap our heads around how something could be flat yet still connected at every single point—you know, that feeling of "I don't get how it could be that way, so it must definitely be this way." 🙄

I suppose... I’ve exaggerated quite a bit here, but honestly, in this latest caricature, I see something that works perfectly as an example...

The Earth is flat, because otherwise you'd fall off... the Earth pulls things toward itself, so that doesn't necessarily mean it's flat... the Earth is round because all points are connected to one another... and then, tomorrow, some genius physicist (who, by the way, is a man on the edge of reason, much like most geniuses—though a layman might call him a "borderline schizophrenic") writes a formula proving it doesn't have to be round for all points to be connected—and just like that, he sends the whole of science into a tailspin.

And if he were to suggest that the Earth might not be round just a day before he finishes that formula, everyone would just say he's LOST. 😁

Maybe he is, but as a final thought, I can say this: we're all a little crazy, especially me, considering how much I'm rambling about this. 😁

Well, it’s mostly because a lot of guys get drawn to a career that keeps them occupied in front of women all day long...🙄 😁 😁

You might be surprised...

Sure, that "Black and White World" song is a classic, but at the end of the day, it’s just lyrics. Real life exists somewhere in the shades between black and white, and those extremes are actually the least common. Most of reality lives in the gray areas...

Some people just choose the lesser of two evils. A lot of folks are fully aware of how destructive drugs can be—they really are—it's just that... well, some people have much more damaging things going on in their lives.

Is it cowardly to run when you see you can't win? Or is it just being strategic? 😎

Honestly, you guys are killing me... with that guy, you can't actually get full, you just feel sort of... vaguely satisfied? It's such a letdown.

Give me a greasy, slow-cooked brisket any day of the week—now *that* is real food. 😁
I think I’ll just grab a big bucket of popcorn and settle in, hoping that everyone I can't stand gets hit by a bad bout of flu before I do. 😁

That way, I can sit back and watch them struggle through it, and then maybe I'll join in on the fun myself. 🙄 😁
What do you think? In about a month, we'll probably be seeing some serious snowstorms sweeping across all of Europe too.
Has anyone else here ever just picked up a cloth and decided to wipe the dust off their desk?

Well, I suppose nature is just doing its thing now—nothing else really... just a little bit of spontaneous house cleaning...

The world might actually look a little brighter once this settles, much like my desk will... and as for the dust... honestly, forget about the dust; it wasn't meant to stay on that table forever anyway.😁

Gosh, man, oh boy...

I was actually just asking my dentist if he’s ever come across a girl dealing with those kinds of symptoms...

My theory? If it's some kind of STI, she's probably holding back from having sex and is just absolutely dying for some intimacy... and honestly, if that's the case, then she's totally my type. 🙄 😁
Well, thank God for small mercies... why on earth would you think I have such a craving for a smoke?

Because it’s the only time the pain actually fades for a second... the longing disappears... the sadness, the anger... it all just melts away, and for one brief moment, I can finally find peace with the things I simply cannot accept...

I mean, just looking at how we use these expressions...🙄 😁 😉
