I’ve actually got a Samsung LED with a built-in tuner myself. My only real regret is that I didn't grab the 27'' version without the tuner, but man, they were pretty tough to track down back then. I haven't spent much time messing around with IPS monitors, but from what I know, the picture on the LED models is really rich and vibrant.
If you aren't in a huge rush, I'd say hang tight until the end of the day or tomorrow—you'll probably see a few more suggestions popping up by then.
Lmao, I tried using a Western Digital Green once and man, it was just painfully slow. If it were me, I’d go with a Red, a Black, or maybe something from Hitachi—though I’ve heard some folks say those can be a bit louder than the Green ones.
Is it because I have a thing for flashy neon gear? 😬 And honestly, why did you go out and grab those Logitech gadgets when you could've just been perfectly happy with something cheaper? 😁
What’s actually missing from budget peripherals? 😁 My old keyboard and mouse combo probably cost less than $40, but man, they were built like those heavy-duty vintage typewriters 😁
Joshua Smith5 said:She didn't go looking for trouble first. Honestly, thinking she was being provocative just because she called you out feels like some deep-seated sexism on your part... that's a whole different issue.😉
Sexism? No way... I treat everyone on this forum—and honestly, everyone in my life—exactly the same. But look, if someone starts talking down to me like they're my boss, that’s a totally different story. That's got nothing to do with sexism.
Christian Taylor3 said:Of course they’re whining about the "quality" of the rambling. Honestly, this chat has hit an all-time low. You guys were throwing insults at her left and right—calling Loureeth a hipster, then making that whole mess about the internet connection; you might as well have drawn it in neon yellow chalk that paying more won't actually make the speeds go up. But hey, he just keeps shouting into the void anyway.
You haven't just dragged him through the mud; you're halfway to turning him into a conspiracy theory.
Come on, give me a break... So what, because she made one first little jab, that makes it all okay? Heaven forbid she had a broken fingernail or something from the sheer stress of dealing with us...
I honestly don't get why some people on chat keep dropping movie suggestions in there when we have a dedicated thread right below it. Then, as soon as everyone starts actually talking about something else, suddenly we're all "trolls" or "off-topic" and ruining the vibe of the chat... it's kind of ridiculous, if you ask me.
It depends, really. Are you planning on overclocking this thing or just running it at stock settings? Honestly, the TF model is always the safer bet since the cooling is so much better—you won't have to sweat it if you decide to push the clock speeds up later. Mine’s an EVGA GTX 560, also the TFII version, and I haven't had to spend a single cent on it since I picked it up about a year and a half ago.
Or, if you can stretch your budget just a little bit, go for a 27'' model. Samsung LED 27'' Monitor - $625 - TechGear
I actually have one pretty similar to that first Samsung LED 24'', and honestly, I've been super happy with it. My only regret is not grabbing the 27'' version right out of the gate—it's definitely the sweet spot for gaming.
Anyone else still rocking this browser? I feel like newer versions come out all the time that are way more stable, better optimized, and just have a much smoother UI overall. It’s built on Chromium, but word on the street is it actually runs faster than most other browsers out there.
