My Name is Earl (2005-2009) in TV Series ·
urbanotter5 said:I heard the second season isn't quite up to par, though I've rewatched the first one a few times. It’s a great show, but honestly, it doesn't quite hit the mark for me like Northern Exposure did. I don't know, it just feels a bit too sentimental for my taste. After finishing all the episodes I own, I found myself thinking—what a mess, yet I'd probably watch it again.

😱 .Never! Northern Exposure is in a league of its own..

Mods, could we please move this thread over to the television subforum?

I just finished season one. It didn't really grab me at first, even though it felt pretty original. However, once I hit the halfway point, I started absolutely loving it.

Jaime Pressly and Nadine Velazquez 🙂 🙂

That isn't a mockumentary..

We have to remember this was set in the 50s and 60s. You have to consider what kind of materials they actually had back then. Honestly, I don't even know what modern crash test dummies are made of these days.

Exactly. Just like crash test dummies in those high-speed collisions.

Exactly. I've heard there are even rehab clinics specifically for getting off it.

P. S. does anyone remember the name of the email client used by Scott in that movie when he shouts, "Mail motherfucker!"?

Could it be Blueberry?

and that guy with the baskets

What is the basket made out of? It was a recent remake... some other version..
Could we get some more advanced tweaking options? For instance, being able to filter out specific subreddits...
I still can't stop thinking about that damn basket player! Anybody?

Hmm, a remake... hmm, you wizards... hm...

Oh right, I completely blanked on that Joe Dante flick. 😵

The woman with the water... what color even is that water?
crimsonmoose3 said:There they are, my final two picks after five hours of debating. 😳 😳 That werewolf pack and that woman. I thought it was either the pack or Lady in the Water, but maybe not? 😵

Don't you know wolves?😱 Hint:😛The ones about me had pretty terrible werewolf masks... Which woman are you referring to? The one on the stairs? If it's her, here's a hint: think of a color and a fabric type.
crimsonmoose3 said:Ugh, I'm almost done, but I just can't wrap my head around that skull thing—or rather, that part of the skull. It's my last one, but I'm stuck. I thought it was a skeleton key, but it isn't. It's not even Skeleton Crew.

🤣 🤣 🤣 That one is actually quite easy. Hint: think Bruce, think Blockbuster... just consider which specific part of the skull we're talking about.
bettie_page said:Maybe Creature from the Black Lagoon... I'm not sure if that's what you mean...

Yep..

I just need one more, but I can't seem to remember it... or maybe I'm spelling it wrong...

Which one don't you know?
bettie_page said:Thanks!!! Almost there!!! 🎉 👏 🙂 🙂

And yes, David Price5, you really provide excellent associations... thanks 😘

😉 They gave me hints too.. how do you think I finished it?
bettie_page said:Yeah, I'm missing number 4...
And those are
Red M&M
That Basket Case or Eraserhead
That death in the background
And the guy with the lantern...

If you know them, please help me out... pretty please...

Red—count your pennies and say it fast (phonetically)
Basket Case—Druids... there was some kind of remake..
Death in the background—it was on a TV series once... maybe The Twilight Zone..

The guy with the lantern—''Here's Johnny!!!!!!!''

The Window

You probably mean Rear Window?
crimsonmoose3 said:What about that giant baby? I tried They Live, Basket Case, and Rosemary's Baby, but none of those fit. How about The Brood?

It is a solid game, though I must admit it is quite challenging. That lollipop man still trips me up; I initially thought he was Eraserhead, but then I spotted the eraser man and realized my mistake. Creature from the Black Lagoon is far too easy. The Window... is alright, but those bugs attacking the old lady are killing me. I thought they were The Swarm featuring Michael Caine.

baby—you missed a letter and an apostrophe..
lollipop man—don't say his name in front of a mirror.
old lady—what does she actually do?
bugs—that's a newer movie. Those animals are right there in the title (kind of like Donnie Darko)..
A friend mentioned that the tunnel looks just like something out of Alien
I honestly can't wrap my head around how I managed to pull that off last night... it just came back to me. Did you actually enjoy that game?
