🙂 The Hills Have Eyes (2006) actually turned out to be a pretty solid horror flick..

Benjamin Smith71 said:Does anyone have recommendations for biker movies? You know, stuff about bikers and that whole lifestyle.

Wild Hogs (1983) That was my reason for buying a BMX; I spent half my childhood destroying the rear brake pads.

irongardener12 said:... so please don't suggest some movie starring fucking Steven Seagal, Kurt Russell or whatever else...

😠 You shouldn't group Kurt in the same league as Seagal..

.To film actually has some incredible moments (like the criminal's garden scene and that one monologue), the rockets inside the casket, and even that pose during the launch... though I have to say, the ending felt a bit rushed.

Emily Sanders4 said:I find myself drawn to the allure of The Big Blue. It isn’t just about the artistry; there is an epic scale to it that feels truly profound. It is a film about discovery and pushing past one's limits—both on a personal level and a collective one.

👍
I think I'll cast my vote for Leon..

wearygardener13 said:I haven't had a chance to watch The Weight of Water yet. 🙂

Hmm. Guess who’s got it?😉

bluebison8 said:Lol, what’s even the difference? Both movies are just lies and nonsense—typical American propaganda.
If you actually think those films are good, you should watch this instead:

Once you've seen this, go ahead and check out the other six parts of this seven-part documentary series.

I haven't seen United 93, so I can't really comment on it..

you don't have a vote anymore

I believe he was referring to this United 93 while you seem to be thinking of this Flight 93..

They certainly are here in the States. Licensed. He only has three films (plus Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind), and they are all relatively recent titles. Plus, you can order just about anything online these days... so it’s definitely doable.

I was actually thinking about American online retailers, not just ordering everything from Amazon and such... but you make a fair point. I just checked Comic books, and it turns out very few of his films even have English subtitles.

Melissa Moore32 said:The only real headache here is how few of these films are licensed, making them so hard to find. It's basically just Princess Mononoke, Chihiro, and Howl, and that’s about it. 🤔

That isn't quite right. Whenever I order online here in the States, they're usually available. They're just incredibly pricey.

lonemarlin40 said:👍 It isn't about me; I've already seen the movie, but I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone else who might watch it.

I remember once scrolling through a thread about The Others Spoiler and, naturally, it completely ruined the experience for me. This situation feels slightly different, but keeping things under wraps is still the better move.

Regarding your point, I agree that the film would have more impact and stay with you longer if it were handled that way, though I am perfectly fine with how it is.

Then go ahead and add a spoiler tag yourself...

Michael Crichton said:I really enjoyed all three, but Redemption... that was special👍 . The sheer willpower shown in that film is truly inspiring

I can't wait to see them hit the bookstores..
and Jerry Maguire (1996)..

Forrest Gump, Amélie, and The Shawshank Redemption are my top picks for inspiration.

Any student can fill out a form at their university to obtain legal Microsoft software, such as Windows XP, Microsoft Office, Student editions, or Encarta.

Once you graduate, you are required to destroy that software.🙂

And how exactly should we destroy it? Should we play La Cucaracha on a CD or something?

The Beatles! (1992)-It’s been quite a while since they aired this one. I suspect it still holds the record for the highest TV ratings in America today.

Jeremy Bishop5 said:They aren't for me. Honestly, I find myself laughing like a fool whenever I watch 😁Weeds🙏. 🙏 🙂

Just remember this scene:
Hey, Lupita, settle an argument for us, what do you call the thing between the dick and the asshole?
Lupita: The coffee table.

Larry Martin11 said:...to me, V for Vendetta was one of the worst movies of last year... honestly, one of the worst films of the last five years or so 😬 but I see it's quite popular here... to each their own 🙂

EDIT: please don't get angry with me; I just had to say it, and now I feel much better 🙂 😳

Hmm. Aside from all those teen slashers, various boat trips, and whatnot... well, what can you do?

Jeremy Bishop5 said:Zooey Deschanel is absolutely incredible at the end of season 2. That😂 scene where she gets into it with Shane's girlfriend... just intense. 🤣

😳 I haven't made it to season 2 yet. I've been searching for it without any luck, but I'll track it down eventually.

Jeremy Bishop5 said:man, weeds rules 🙏 👍

You really have to watch this 🙏 🤣

Season 2 is absolutely hilarious 👍
I heard a rumor that Season 3 will be even tighter—only 15 episodes 😍

That uncle is definitely the best character.🙏 .The scene involving online hookups or talking while watching adult films..

urbanotter5 said:Come on... I enjoyed Life on Mars too, especially on DVD, but this show is genuinely superior. It lacks those annoying quirks that bothered me about Life on Mars—specifically Chris and his constant tendency to lecture everyone by quoting books on the radio, which was interesting enough until it started feeling like my actual college textbooks...
besides, My Name is Earl - no jews!😉

Those were the key elements. That's why the series stood out. By the way, have you seen Weeds?
