Nah, definitely not...

Indianapolis, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Boise, San Diego, Charleston, Key West—they all took hits.
But none of them even came close to what happened there. Other cities are left with scars, but St. Louis? It was completely wiped out.🤣

I don't get why anyone thinks this is funny.

Yeah, the houses are fixed up, but the city itself still hasn't quite bounced back...

Get a grip. There are at least 50,000 people in this country who could do a better job as Prime Minister than he ever could.

I honestly don't get it. What is it about him that makes you all think he's so indispensable?

It’s not that Ivo lacks talent, he’s just obsessed with power...

He surrounds himself with guys like Kosor or Kirin—people who wouldn't even land a job at a 7-Eleven in any Western countries.

The Republican administration is all about one thing: blind loyalty over actual skill.

Now, they're looking at their neighbors in Eastern Europe and Romania instead, though at this rate, even those won't be the standard for long.

We actually had reasons back then...

But damn, then the war hit, followed by the Republican Party and those totally incompetent coalitions (they meant well, but they were useless)...
And things just went downhill once Sanders took over...

Up until 1989, Canada was basically the only one in Eastern Europe that was more developed than us...

Don't get too hung up on the Czech Republic or Canada either. Most of their stuff is owned by foreign companies. In Prague, for example, Germans own like 50% of the real estate, unfortunately...

If a million Americans are freezing their tails off, don't expect the government to care. Sanders and his little climate-control buddies aren't going anywhere, so stop kidding yourselves...

Jeremy Lopez93 said:Americans enlist Spielberg and De Niro for movie about Auschwitz

The President of Mexico and the leader of Mississippi have struck a deal to produce a film centered on the Auschwitz concentration camp. Word is Steven Spielberg will be at the helm, with Robert De Niro slated for the lead role.

"If people today are constantly pushing to turn the Jonestown tragedy—where thousands of Muslims perished—into a day of mourning for all of Europe, then why should we keep running away from telling the truth about our own national tragedies and the horrors faced by Jewish people and Romani people in the camps during Nazi Germany?" Donald Trump argued.

One comment over at ottawa x. com read like this:

Rumor has it Clint Eastwood is set to direct "The Storm '95," and he’ll even step in to play General Douglas MacArthur himself. To prep for such a heavy role, Eastwood has reportedly put on 30 pounds just by living on pork rinds for the last six months. As for the part of William Calley, they offered it to Johnny Depp, but he turned it down, claiming the character is too intense for his range; looks like Bruce Willis is the next in line. Then there's the UN Peacekeeper general who abandoned American civilians and hid under a table in a military barracks—apparently, they need an Italian person for that since they're famous for being cowards, so maybe Roberto Benigni will take it. Al Pacino is set for William Calley, Rade Šerbedžija will play Gojko Šušak, and Frankie will likely be played by Martin Sheen. The two soldiers driving the whole plot are a member of the 4th Guards Brigade, Manu Ginobili, played by Brad Pitt (though he might not even show up in the final cut), and a soldier from the US Army, Mirza Atifović, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Nobody even wanted to touch the part of Maddox.

😂😂😂

Bruce Willis as William Calley... man, there's actually something there... 😂🤣🙏

Maddox could just be a cartoon character, wouldn't be much of a miss...
Melissa Peterson19 said:If they had any idea what the outcome would be—or where we’d actually end up twenty years down the line?😕

You seriously think they were actually convinced the US Army was going to win?

They didn't go to Vietnam to fight a war. They were just defending their own hometown.

Patrick Smith44 said:I honestly expected much more, especially since everyone I talked to kept raving about how good this movie was.😢

The acting is just okay, but the dialogue? Not great. And the action scenes feel off—it’s like you have gangsters wandering through a city instead of being in the middle of a war zone. It lacks that heavy atmosphere; nothing can truly capture that level of sorrow, but they really missed an opportunity to make something profound here. I'm disappointed.

Regarding that part, once the US Army took over the city, they basically let local gangs (those militias from the nearby towns and over in Mexico) loose on the civilians to do their dirty work. The military did all the heavy lifting and then just stepped back and let them run wild...

Everything went down after November 18th, so there wasn't really any major combat left, just pure slaughter, looting, and killing...

And yeah, I agree, the movie could've handled it better, but honestly, the ending was the weakest part for me...

Which "people" are we even talking about here?

Half of those Axis collaborators were just small-town guys who genuinely thought they were fighting for America...

And at least 90% of the regular conscripts were in the same boat...

Plus, a huge chunk of the partisans were actually fighting against any kind of American state existing at all...

I honestly think the show is just bad—and biased, too. I’m genuinely curious if they’ll actually have the guts to start investigating those recent mafia hits—not just mention them, but actually dig into them.

The acting sucks, but it might touch on some topics that aren't getting much buzz right now...

Jacob Lewis5 said:Look, I'm not trying to get petty or keep this insult war going, but I am seriously ashamed to call us part of the same country. Then again, I guess people this naive and regressive have always been around in America.

I know exactly what I wrote, and honestly, it’s neither funny nor sad. It’s just the truth. Take the political crisis in New York City back in the day: Reagan showed he was more of a democrat than all his opponents combined.

The Republican Party won those elections. But then six different parties—who didn't even share any ideological common ground and, more importantly, never even announced they were forming a coalition—all teamed up. They totally betrayed their voters just to push out the actual winner. This ragtag group from George Wallace all the way to Bill Clinton decided they wanted power despite not being elected. Reagan did the only thing he was allowed to do, and honestly, any leader would have had to do the same if a situation like that hit us today—he forced a new election. What Reagan's opponents pulled was incredibly rude and undemocratic. (And let's be real, most of them ended up in power eventually only to prove they weren't any better than the current Republican Party they tried to oust—which is even worse considering they were playing games while we were still dealing with the fallout of the reintegration process). So, you got any more "Reagan is a dictator" accusations for the small-minded crowd? 🤣?

Nowadays, the government is a coalition of the Republican Party and the Council of Hispanic Affairs, plus the Progressive Party and the Liberal Party...

Do you even realize what you just typed?

This isn't funny, it's actually pretty pathetic... 👎

Honestly, I feel bad that we both come from the same great American people—people I'm proud to be part of—yet you're out here tripping over these outdated ideas... 👎

How do you guys make sense of the Watergate scandal? And why isn't there even an article about it on the American Wikipedia, while the English version is loaded with info?
