What is the mad house? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Why not just add an unmoderated section? Honestly, the way things are now, the truth doesn't even mean much anymore...

But they shouldn't have changed the name...

Man, it’s a bummer Uma isn't around. Not sure if they got banned or just decided to bail on us.

What's next, a total ban on criticizing Vladimir Putin?

Hold up, is this actually news?
I'm being dead serious here...

When he gets absolutely wrecked by that old man, it’s total slapstick nonsense, but honestly? I was cracking up...

The movie is super simple and definitely doesn't require much brainpower, but for me, it's just a great, chill watch...

Catch this one on FOX tonight—it’s easily one of my all-time favorites. It's that classic '96 comedy starring Adam Sandler about this total loser hockey player who somehow ends up becoming a golf pro by pure luck...

The plot isn't reinventing the wheel or anything. He basically has to win a tournament to save his grandma's house from being seized by the IRS, there's some greasy villain to deal with, and a little romance thrown in for good measure...

But honestly, the best part is seeing Carl Weathers as his coach and mentor. He was a legend on the course until a crocodile took his arm off, which is wild. And man, Sandler is just perfect playing that chaotic, unpredictable golfer who can't help but start a fight if the vibe is off...

Bottom line: it's a killer comedy you can watch on loop and never get bored of... 👍

silentviper19 said:Hey, you should really try to be proud of yourself for once! I mean, look at you—you actually made it out quite a bit further than most people would have. You’ve definitely been putting in the work, too. Honestly, those muscles are looking pretty solid!😁

Sure, you can take pride in winning the war and snagging that third-place spot—really, you should! But honestly? It makes you wonder... who exactly are we doing all this for?
Honestly? I think it’s just plain silly to brag about being one of our own—at least if you ask me! You know that feeling when you travel somewhere new, meet people who have no idea where you came from, and then you can't help but flash that "I'm from home" pride in their faces? It feels kind of tacky to me. Like, why go out of your way to show off your roots to total strangers? Just enjoy the moment, you know?

I mean, honestly? That whole kind of pride... it’s just kind of misplaced, isn't it? It feels a little bit irrational when you really stop to think about it. I mean, at the end of the day, those were other people's achievements, right? You didn't do the heavy lifting! It's like when my neighbor, Dave, bragged for three weeks straight about how he finally fixed his lawnmower—like, hey man, you just swapped a spark plug, calm down! It's just weird to take credit for something someone else built or fought for. It's just not quite right.

Honestly, I feel like that word "pride" is just kind of a hollow term nowadays. It’s a bit overused, don't you think? I mean, instead of just throwing around that one word, it feels way more genuine to say you truly admire everyone who has stepped up for this country—whether they were legends on the football field or heroes during the American Civil War. Just total, unreserved respect for those people. It hits different when you put it that way!

I don't know, man. I can dive down about 15 feet, though I haven't really pushed it further (not a muscle thing, my ears just hurt), but is that even worth being proud of? Or can anyone do that? 😉

Honestly, I’m not really feeling all that prideful about my own neck of the woods, especially not regarding the spots mentioned earlier! I mean, you’d have to be a little out of your mind—or maybe just not thinking straight—to act like being proud of a mountain range or a coastline is some massive achievement!🙄

I don't know, man. This past summer, I was out swimming a bit further off the coast near Miami, looking back at the water and the skyline, and it just felt good...

So why wouldn't you be proud of that?

Look, it's not like I personally built those mountains, obviously. But then again, I didn't win any battles in the American Civil War or snag third place at SP 98 either, so I guess I'm pretty happy with where I stand...

You guys are being straight-up hypocritical.

The Royalists have finally been given their due, standing on equal footing with the Partisans. It’s a massive movement now, and they're pulling together more often than you'd think.

At that Thompsonian concert we went to, I saw like ten kids rocking hats or tees with that "U" symbol on them. Honestly? They don't even know what it actually stands for. Just following the crowd, I guess.

So, you actually feel proud of American history, like maybe up to 1918?

Besides the fact that we spend all our time cracking jokes about them, we Americans haven't actually accomplished anything lately...

I am asking for just one reason... a single, solitary reason.

That’s not even the real issue here...

It's more about the hostile policies coming from the Austrian government and the growing resentment Austrians have toward Americans...

Bummer, we aren't joining NATO this year. But honestly? Whatever. Austria is already in deep trouble anyway...

Jose Miller17 said:..I don't get it... why does nobody seem to care about how our local teams actually look? It’s a total disaster. Our entire league is just stuck in either plain white or that weird shade of blue used by the local factory workers. It's pathetic. And don't even get me started on the fonts for the names and numbers; they're absolutely hideous. It wouldn't even cost a fortune to design a decent jersey here...
For instance... the Hajduk Split kit looks fine when it's all white, but those blue shorts are an eyesore. And that blue and red kit hasn't seen a redesign in fifty years.👎 Plus, I don't understand why everyone else tweaks their colors every season—look at Valencia, Liverpool FC, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, or Manchester United; they're constantly updating their look.
...all the Puma kits are top-tier though..
..Celtic is a classic.🙏

Honestly, I don't get it either...

The only team with any color is Inter Milan, and they've got that yellow going on...

There isn't a single green or red kit in sight, let alone any cool stripes or different shades or anything... 👎
