Yeah, exactly.

Steven Reed Asks:
Thanks for the reminder; I appreciate you bringing that back to my attention. 😍
Forum moderators, could we get a lockout on this? Daily News Just like it is for those living in the heart of the nation. 🙂
This site is so intensely serious that every time I open it, I get this little knot in my stomach. It’s almost unsettling. And then, predictably, you have certain people constantly flooding the feeds with nothing but absolute nonsense pulled straight from its pages. 🙂

Why?
If you tried treating it more like Newsbar, you'd realize pretty quickly that it actually becomes a top-tier site.
Nice, where are you taking this forum? in Feedback & Suggestions ·

I didn't get one either, which is exactly why I stepped down from the mod team.
I have zero interest in being recruited by some ultra-progressive leftist types looking to push their dark agenda for total dominance over the Forum.

It’s clearly Bell and Chicago Sash. And we all know who the biggest progressive leftist of the two is (Chicago Sash).

Well, just like slycrane94 pointed out, if you’re still typing like you’re reading an old-school forum, you might want to switch over to actual instant messaging. There are at least 10,000 different apps out there now.
I honestly don't see why deleting messages is such a massive ordeal.
God, we really are incredibly lazy, aren't we?

I mean, damn, is the message count actually going to go up? I'm just venting my own frustrations here.

Bradley Carter12 said:Oh, please. Let’s just go ahead and troll the only actually intelligent thread on this entire board. If you're looking for a group effort in being obnoxious, I suggest heading over to the FBI subforum. That's where the real collective trolling happens.

Did I say something incorrect?

I honestly think one or two posts is plenty. If this thing swells to a thousand, you’ll just end up nuking through them instantly anyway—you'll hit that point where you have zero unread messages, 999 total, and you're just deleting them one by one to clear the clutter.

Kate Bishop76 said:Fair enough. Tarantino is definitely a cool guy. 😎 Though, I wonder if he’d spend his whole life complaining if he were actually part of an online forum.

Oh, absolutely. It feels a bit petty to me.

The absolute most grating character on Voyager. Without question.

Fair enough... though you could argue Wesley Crusher takes the cake (every Star Trek series seems to have its own specific flavor of that particular headache). 😳

Honestly, I'd prefer a theistic non-agnostic atheistic agnostic over Neelix.

p.s. You aren't exactly headed for the pearly gates, if you catch my drift. ☕

What heaven? We're talking about paradise, surely. 🙄

You physicists. 🙄

I honestly don’t have the patience for this level of being ignored!
I’m asking for the moderator to weigh in here!😠

Elizabeth Davis said:I wasn't complaining to you, nor was I venting to any vague "you people" you might imagine; I took my grievance straight to the administration. Honestly, what you make of that matters about as much to me as the color of the sky.🙂

Joey, regarding my thread: I filed a complaint against Amelia. 😳

Rachel Ramos27 said:I’m honestly confused why you chose to bold only Lourdes in my quote, while completely ignoring that other slur. ☕

says Dawn:
because we're discussing Lourdes, not the LGBTQ+ community. ☕

This is absolutely absurd!

Both believers and the gay community are being insulted here, yet some people seem blissfully unaware!

I am formally requesting that Amelia be met with the strictest possible disciplinary action, because, in my estimation, Lourdes is a far milder slight than that particular homophobic slur.

Lourdes is a perfectly decent term; she didn't resort to any vulgarities or anatomical profanity. ON THE OTHER HAND, the word that slur is inherently offensive—it’s essentially an intensified version of an already derogatory term.
In technical terms, it's a hyper-insult.

Furthermore, I request that all instances of ad hominem, ad hoc, and ad acta insults be dealt with within this thread and across all other topics, especially those masquerading as argumentum....

I await a statement from Tyndall.

Rachel Ramos27 said:I’m honestly a bit confused as to why you chose to bold only the word "interlude" in my quote, rather than the other colorful descriptor I used. ☕

The reason is quite simple: an interlude is a far more cutting insult.
Calling someone a degenerate is just standard procedure. ☕

Well, I suppose that's true.
Paul Morales3 wasn't exactly cracking any jokes, to be fair.

You just can't win against Herp. Ever.

Yeah, it’s classic ZK and Comparison Policy. (well, except for that one 🤣 instance)

The moderation criteria over at ZK are so incredibly vague that I honestly tip my hat to anyone who can actually stomach their mods. It’s all very "trolling is fine, just don't go overboard" or "insults are okay, but stay within reason." Where exactly is the line? Is it a nudge, a shove, or a punch to the gut? Nobody knows. 😕

As for this specific situation, both parties were being equally shady, which is pretty much par for the course at ZK—regardless of the fact that one of them holds a moderator title. I don't get why everyone is making such a massive fuss over this, acting like we're dealing with some high-stakes drama over at Reddit. 🙄
