Honestly, the movie was a blast, mostly because of Keaton and that whole wave of Batman nostalgia. Still, I found myself tripping over a hundred different plot holes regarding the whole time travel thing... As for Supergirl, we basically saw her entire arc in the trailer, so it felt like a bit of a wasted opportunity. Out of the two big cameos, I actually called one since the director let it slip himself 😵, but that second one at the end? I seriously didn't see him coming 🤣 Barry really did a number on the timeline.
It’s not actually that much of an emotional rollercoaster. I suppose animal lovers might find certain parts a little bit gut-wrenching. I was kind of expecting a more serious conclusion to the trilogy, so I guess I felt a little disappointed in that regard. That being said, as far as filmmaking goes, it's quite good. There's plenty of action, the humor lands well enough, and the soundtrack is excellent.
I think I’ll probably just skip the theater for this one and wait, though I’m still wondering if it’ll actually be worth sitting through on my PC later.
I’ll probably catch it over the weekend. The reviews are pretty bad for an MCU movie; apparently, it starts off strong enough, but then it just kind of loses its way while trying too hard to be this massive epic. It feels a bit like Age of Ultron. Though, if you ask me, that one was actually great. Come on, it can't possibly be worse than the last Thor movie...
Honestly, this was just a mediocre Marvel flick. I thought Ragnarok worked really well because the action and humor actually felt balanced, but this whole thing felt incredibly forced and rushed, I guess. They really seemed to nerf Thor.
It doesn't quite hit that same epic level we saw with the first Ragnarok trailer. I suppose it'll end up being one of those typical feel-good movies. I can't tell if Portman actually bulked up or if it’s just some kind of visual trickery. I noticed Mjolnir looks like it was cobbled together from scraps, too. 😁
The 3070 is really the sweet spot if you're looking for high refresh rates at 1440p. I suppose it’s honestly kind of a waste to pair a card like that with just a 23" monitor.
Hold on a second. It’s probably not the best time to be buying right now. I guess the Intel Core i5 series is noticeably better for gaming than the old 10th gen stuff compared to what was out before.
Unless they shot him dead center in the head, I suppose there's a chance he’s still kicking. It feels like they left that door wide open just in case they decide to make a sequel. Given how well it's performing at the box office—especially with everyone drawing comparisons to John Wick—it seems pretty likely we'll see a follow-up. Though, if I'm being honest, I think it might have been more interesting to see that Indian actress take the lead role...
I’m honestly curious to see what people think about Black Widow; I don't see it flopping, especially since the core audience is likely going to be mostly men anyway.🙄
In my view, there are really just two main reasons why a movie fails. The first one is this situation where they’re actually changing the title after it’s already been released, 🤦 but the second—and probably most important factor—is that nobody actually wanted this movie in the first place. From the moment it was announced, there just wasn't any hype or genuine interest surrounding it.
