Not all of her threads are locked—take this one, for example. It makes sense, so it stays up. That pretty much kills the argument that people are out to get Amy Long9. Threads don't get shut down just because someone's unhappy; they get closed if they don't make sense or don't fit the specific board. The LJES subforum gets the most traffic, which brings in a huge crowd, but it also attracts people who think everything belongs there... which isn't how it works.
There are other boards for stuff like that. Like Random or Offtopic—but nope, better to dump it in LJES since that's where the crowd hangs out...🙄
I’m shutting down any thread that I feel doesn't belong here on Apple... whether it’s yours or anyone else's. Just so we're clear, even if some closed threads happen to match your username— 🤷...
Regardless, this topic stays locked unless a supermod or an admin decides otherwise.

Don't take Reddit—or honestly, any online community—too seriously if you're a member... It’s really just the perfect spot to swap ideas (which I think is the whole point) and have a little fun along the way... Of course, just like anywhere else in the world, this place follows a perfect Gauss's curve... You'll find every kind of person imaginable here...
Once you spend enough time hanging out, you quickly figure out who's on your wavelength, who's a total clown, and who's actually sharp and knows their stuff... it's everything... Think of the site as a digital town square where people just come together to "talk"...
And as for being the new kid on the block... well, I'm still pretty new myself... I only joined about four months ago... I showed up, read the room, opened up to the crew, and ended up sticking around... At first, I was just dropping my two cents on various threads, but now I've met a bunch of folks here who are genuinely interesting and great people... definitely expanded my circle...
Just don't get worked up over things... if someone goes overboard, you can always just hit ignore and move on without replying...
