So you're like, what, 18 now? Cute! Suddenly I've got a reason to fly out to LA for the Pixies show. Whatever.
Legend has it they got started back in 1980 in some basement in Leeds. Andrew Eldritch and Gary Marx. That same year, "Damage Done" dropped on a 7-inch. It eventually turned up on that *Some Girls Wander by Mistake* compilation. Up until '85, they were just churning out singles. Then came *1st & Last & Always*. '87 gave us *Floodland*—which is easily their best, IMO—followed by *Vision Thingo* in '90. Honestly? Everything after that is straight garbage. Now, look, I wouldn't call myself a die-hard fan or anything, but I gotta brag a little: I actually own every single track they’ve ever recorded. Every single-out, every album, even those live covers of other artists. And no, don't bother sliding into my DMs asking for stuff. I'm not ripping 🙂 for you.
Heard it and totally blanked. Thanks for the reminder, I guess. Honestly, it's boring. Nobody wants someone just coming in and burning their stuff. Unless, of course, you want to swing by my place and check out my collection, tee hee hee
Seriously, try booking Voltaire as the DJ. It’ll be an absolute riot, I promise. And then you've got these self-proclaimed music snobs hanging out on this forum...

So, what, they're such saints that we aren't allowed to hate on them? Isn't the whole point of a forum to actually trade opinions? (Whether we agree or not, I don't care)
