What could possibly exist beyond consciousness? Self-awareness, perhaps. (?)
Consciousness depends on the perception of the one doing the perceiving; in other words, consciousness isn't the variable; rather, perception depends on the consciousness of the perceived or the perceiver.
Sounds nonsensical? Well, it isn't.
So there exists something beyond consciousness, or perception; but what is it?
Most people notice things like plus or minus, good or evil, mountain or valley; without even asking *who* is noticing, they perceive duality.
Then some people notice neutrality and realize the trinity.
And so on...
Therefore, even without asking who perceives, there is still an act of perception.
Maybe the famous Descartes was simply mistranslated.(?)
I perceive; therefore, I am.

What organ is responsible for the act of realization? Or rather, what part of our biological machinery actually processes an epiphany?
Where does consciousness actually come from?
The Absolute enters a state of absolute observation; it exists entirely beyond the reach of the mind or the ego.
Aside from what I pick up through the forums, what unwritten rules am I actually living by?

First off, Karen Sanchez19; you have to ask yourself: what is the actual instrument of perception?
Take something basic; we determine if an object is hard or soft through touch.
We see right then; that instrument of perception is fundamentally limited.
So what, then, is the infinite; what can possibly be perceived without limits?
How is it even possible to know God if He is absolute?
Through absolute perception, Karen Sanchez19.
What methods exist for perceiving the absolute?
That is how you correctly frame the problem.
It isn't philosophy, because let me repeat: philosophy is bound by rules that nobody actually follows.
It isn't religion, because religion is bound by arbitrary non-rules that everyone blindly obeys.
That leaves us with theurgy or theosophy.

The soul is merely a tool for the soul to recognize itself.
Once that soul is realized, it becomes a tool for recognizing the Spirit.
And the union of Spirit and soul? That is the final mechanism for knowing God.

Where does it ever mention emotional indifference toward people?
We are talking about realizing oneness. That "membrane" is simply what I perceive surrounding myself and you, if I’m looking at you.
They say this membrane doesn't truly exist, yet we clearly see it; therefore, we haven't achieved unity yet, even if we talk about it. What they mean is, if I view someone through their physical shell, they might be attractive or charming, someone I'd marry, and so on.
If one were to actually see the soul, there would be no distinction. You wouldn't have friends, partners, or enemies because everyone would be identical... clearly, we are missing the point.
Communication is a dead end because the subject matter—souls and bodies—requires direct experience. Unfortunately, this debate won't facilitate that experience; all we can do is trade theoretical stances (which isn't a crime) or perhaps share lived experiences (which would be ideal).
And please, spare me the insults regarding my spiritual path. If I am being foolish, it isn't the path's fault. Feel free to insult me personally; I truly don't care.
It would be best if we just stopped arguing and got back to studying, gaining awareness, or whatever else constitutes actual work.
Or at least realize that nothing we do actually works, though that just brings us back to square one.
Regards! 👋

When we reach the finish line, we finally 🙂
. But until that moment arrives, we're just left with abstract ideas.
Casey Jones9 said:Truth doesn't exist, it just acts as a guidepost along the way. Isn't that right? By the end of the journey, those guideposts eventually become the truth itself.

How is it that materialists and atheists find it so effortless to accept the existence of thought, the ego, or personality? Where is the actual evidence for these phenomena? Who has ever laid eyes on a mind, on intelligence, or on a "Self"?
It stands to reason, then, that if we question their existence, we must also ask: do other invisible phenomena exist as well?
The common consensus is that a human being is composed of mind, intelligence, ego, senses, and emotions. Because each of these functions occupies itself with its own specific task, I find it impossible to perceive the soul as a single entity. All these elements are merely material reflections of the soul.
In reality, grasping the interaction between the soul, the spirit, and God is the greatest challenge of all. Even angels struggle to fully comprehend it.

Ivankovic: Of course! The soul is just a person with legs.
???
Why the shock? It’s like my old man used to yell every single night: "Soul, spread those legs!" 😈
Karen Sanchez19 said:True. It would be much simpler if we didn't have thoughts at all. 🙂

Truth alone exists; but who, really, possesses the capacity to hunt it down?
The various forms of material reality are merely reflections produced by a mind that constructs them through sensory input and lived experience.

Karen Sanchez19, since you’re being so incredibly gracious as to persist in this rant after moving the goalposts yourself (one shouldn't debate things that don't exist, right?);
A human being is composed of the mind, the senses, and the body.
Whoever consciously controls their breath can consciously control their mind.
The soul is not an energetic entity. It does not stem from the mind. God is not a product of the Soul.
A man who rejects the recognition of the soul is incapable of recognizing the spirit or God.
