However, because that specific footage was destroyed, you don't actually see the real killing in the finished film. It was that Funboy character who did him in, the guy with the long blond hair...
As for the movie itself: it's an absolute cult classic, just fantastic. Even today, I get chills watching it. The soundtrack is incredible. And then, of course, there's Brandon Lee, who ended up being the ultimate goth king among kings (and I'm not even much of a goth fan 😁 ). And that cameo by Jovic? I mean, where else do you find that? How cool is that? 😬
I just read that the actor, Michael Massee, took a year-long break from acting after the incident. Man, I feel so bad for him. You can't even imagine what it's like to live with that.😢

Anyone else catch this one? I honestly went in thinking a movie about economics would be a total snooze fest, but it ended up being absolutely stellar. The standout feature is definitely the cast. Every single actor was spot on in their role. 😁
I enjoyed the movie; it’s a blast if you're just looking for entertainment. For once, the vampires are actually repulsive instead of being some supermodel types. The end was great too—it avoids that typical happy ending cliche.
Honestly, it’s probably better if they don't turn it into a movie. I mean, look at *The X-Files*, *Sex and the City*... those were all massive hits that absolutely flopped when they tried to hit the big screen. In my opinion, when a series becomes a household name on TV, it just doesn't translate to the cinema. Especially since this is a comedy series... it just doesn't belong in a theater.

Haha, or maybe we're just used to seeing him in goofy roles. I actually expected it to be worse than it turned out to be. He’s much better suited for comedies and playing wild characters rather than stuff like this. The whole time I was watching, I kept seeing ticks from Dr. House. If he had a beard, it would have been even more obvious.🤣
Are you seriously suggesting that great actors just end up in mediocre movies? Is that what you're getting at? I actually tuned into ABC specifically to catch that flick, just to see how Hugh performs in a different kind of role.
I love how the character played by Joseph G. L. is completely blind to what's right in front of him. He fails to see how sincere she actually is throughout the entire film, constantly twisting her words just to make things easier on himself because he's so head over heels for her. It happens in real life all the time—you might be seeing someone just for fun, never intending for it to become serious, but if they’re in love with you, they start reading hidden meanings into everything you say. They basically gaslight themselves just to cope. That’s what gives this film such a grounded, realistic edge for me; it’s a dynamic we've all either pulled on someone else or had pulled on us.
I think those three tracks I listed above are absolute gems. I’ve heard mixed things about the others, though. Still deep-diving into his discography to see what sticks.
I’m not sure if this guy is worth a discussion, so I’ll just throw it out there. In my book, he’s a top-tier musician.👍His playing and vocals are both phenomenal. His live shows are absolute perfection.😁

The second season is easily the best one. It’s got Irina Derevko joining the cast—you know, Sydnina’s mom. The chemistry between her, Syd, and Jacko Lena Olin is just incredible.🙏🙏
