To me, it honestly feels like TV shows can actually be higher quality than movies. It’s kind of fascinating, really—how a writing team tasked with crafting 22 episodes per season can deliver much better material than someone spending years grinding away on a single ninety-minute film.
Plus, I'd argue you just get more invested in series. You actually grow to love the characters and everything... you end up becoming a genuine fan, which makes it easy to hit that higher rating.
I’ll be honest, after watching the trailer, I was fully expecting this to be a total disaster, but I was actually pleasantly surprised👍 It’s a genuinely great comedy, and the entire cast absolutely nails it.🙏🙏

That said, I agree he hasn't exactly become a household name. I’ve only really seen him pop up in things like *Law & Order* or some random procedural later on. His film career just didn't take off the way you'd expect.🤷

HOTEL RWANDA (2008) - Whenever they start hurling insults, they always use that "cockroach" term 😂 and honestly, the way they say it is kind of hilarious.
If you had been the same age you are now back when that movie first came out, you probably would've been terrified. Even your kids, once they reach your current age, won't find those horror flicks scary like you do now.
And yeah, I totally agree, the cursing is pretty funny.
I don't know, I still don't buy it.🤷 I much prefer psychological dread. For me, one single episode of Twin Peaks is way spookier than some overblown, jump-scare-heavy horror flick.😛
I’m throwing this topic out there mostly because I’ve been lurking, but I haven't seen anyone mention what I consider the absolute best American film: Red Dust.😍 It’s one of those rare gems that actually sticks with you and leaves a mark.🙏🙏 Every single time it comes on TV, I sit down to watch it, even though it always leaves me feeling pretty heavy.😢
A few friends went to see it and told me straight up: don't bother, it’s a total snooze fest, nothing special at all🤷 so now I've completely lost interest
