Maybe it’s just because they've been brainwashed by "internet culture." You see all sorts of stuff online and start dreaming up these wild fantasies. But real life isn't Hollywood, even if some people act like it is... It's also down to chronic laziness and a few other things.
It’s honestly kind of shocking, actually sad, how hard it is nowadays to find a couple of extra hands to help you out for an hour or two and actually pay them a decent $100$67. But no, 🙂 they won't just give you a straight "no" and say they're busy; instead, they lack the decency to do even a little bit of manual labor. And while they're supposed to be working, they can't risk missing a single notification on their smartphones. Their best excuse? They've got parents, grandparents, or a spouse waiting at home that they can just play around with...
The irony is that these same people will show up the next day begging $0.67 for coffee money or a pack of cigarettes, all while acting all tough and asking, "Hey man, you got any cash?" 🤔 🤣 It’s ridiculously twisted, but seriously pathetic.
I've heard it personally and through conversations quite a few times—people in big cities have this attitude: "There's no way I'm working a 7-to-3 shift every single day!"
And how could they find time for anything else when they spend all day mooching, coming up with ways to make sure nobody accidentally finds them a job, and even using those cheap little tears to manipulate people... They're just totally Facebook-brained.
I mean, I get it, with everything going on, it's impossible to work 7-to-3 every day! Like, oh my god, you'd have to commute back and forth every single day too. No way!!
There will always be these losers daydreaming about fast money and a movie star lifestyle, whether they're young or old...
Time seems to move faster now, everything demands more, and it feels like everyone has less time; but I don't think today's world is any better for catching the "laziness virus" or trying to live like a Hollywood diva.
Life isn't easy or comfortable for these people, no matter how much they convince themselves they can live off others forever. Reality can hit them pretty hard after a while...
Luckily, they aren't the majority, because who knows what the US would look like if they were...
Have you ever noticed how some people just seem to "radiate" this energy that pulls everyone’s attention and attracts all the best situations toward them? It honestly feels like good vibes just stick to them like glue sometimes. And I’m not even talking about being a supermodel, or having a PhD, or coming from a wealthy family in Greenwich. They could have crooked teeth, an asymmetrical face, or totally awkward legs, but they still carry themselves in such a charming way that they have this massive influence on everyone around them. These are those unforgettable types—people who subconsciously draw others in because they just have that irresistible "it" factor that makes it impossible to say "no" to them. There is just something about their posture, their vibe, or their body language that forces you to take notice.
They’re the kind of people you instinctively turn your head to see when they walk down a street in NYC, not necessarily because they’re gorgeous or wearing designer clothes, but because they just radiate something special. Or even think about sales—if someone like that starts promoting a product, they’ll always end up with way more customers than anyone else.
It’s like they use their charm or their karma to make things work out perfectly for them, but it never feels forced or pushy. They are just pure optimists. When you meet someone like that, you immediately want to be their friend or at least hang out in their orbit.
So, what do you think it is? Is it just karma, a deep understanding of human psychology, or something else entirely?
Do you know someone like this in your own circle or maybe even a neighbor who just glows and stays stuck in your mind, making you wish you hung out with them more often?
I truly feel like these people just happen to have a lot more luck on their side. 🙂
The big question is... how does someone actually become that kind of person? 🎉
Honestly, if you could just go to a store and buy a "charisma chip" to upload into your brain, I don't think anyone would stay sane for long. It’s just a teenage dream...
If you started attracting everyone constantly, you'd eventually have to deal with the massive weight of all that attention and actually give something back to keep it going. Once people start swarming you, it stops being fun pretty fast. We all know how most celebrities end up anyway. It's the same when someone tries too hard to be happy and sacrifices everything else, only to end up with zero actual peace of mind.
Maybe we really should be careful about what we wish for and what comes with it.
-How do you become that kind of person? Can you work your way up to being that person? Not really. There are just those moments where you suddenly shine, but even those pass. Everyone has them, and everyone will again. Who knows when or where?! Better to just let it happen naturally... The truth is, those moments don't last nearly as long as people want them to.
And honestly, that's for the best. Everything happens for a reason, even if it doesn't feel like it.
Even a literal magnet loses its pull over time—that's just how it works. It's not meant for us, so why stress out about it...
Just my two cents: Honestly, you guys are actually doing something great by building much-needed alternatives that feel more human and open to new ideas.
I really hope you’re aiming for this forum to become a more polite space—one with the potential to actually respect individual freedom for people and our beloved animals/creatures too... I'm not being bitter, I just want to make my point, especially since I know you care about "animals" and those individual beings as much as I do.
- "The problem is my long-winded post?"
# Common sense says you explain as much as you can, because I know what I wrote can't fully be captured by words or intellect alone. I actually pointed that out in the text.
# Also, regarding Alternative, people really do write just about anything there with total honesty. I totally agree, and honestly, that's actually a great thing. Fact.
- Quoting you here: "Nobody is defending these paranormal phenomena which definitely fall under Alternative, and if users are entertained by the dumbest spiritual anecdotes, gossip, and fears, why defend them? Other PDFs have plenty of gossip threads too."
# Well, you're putting my topic in that category, but why did you lock it? Why block my silly Alternative stuff compared to everyday, standard issues?
# I read the Alternative subforum rules.
- Quoting you again: "*suggestion for improving subforum workflow * no hard feelings* I don't see how your interpretation of "nirvana" could concretely help in this actual, real, everyday life and its problems."
# You don't see it for one simple reason: you won't allow any further communication where there's a chance that you, I, or anyone else might notice something we haven't seen before—or even dreamed existed. I'm always consistent with that because I truly feel how important it is. You aren't even letting me get called out for being wrong, delusional, or having someone explain that I'm just stuck in my own fantasy. For all we know, maybe aliens gave "Alex" some kind of knowledge?! Or maybe, during one mysterious morning while I was putting on my left sneaker before heading to work, they transmitted the secret of what's actually happening in our lives!
Who knows? Who's the authority on that? You? Me? Who? What? It should just be based on common-sense, realistic observations of how "that" makes us feel most of the time in our lives! 🙂
Why judge and block that conversation? How are you looking at that post? Why not take the risk that I might be wrong or lost?
To me, there's no logic involved other than personal, individual, their/our own.
suggestion for improving subforum workflow * no hard feelings
The world needs non-linear, deep thinking now more than ever.
It really sucks that we’re wasting our precious, irreplaceable time trying to clear this up.
I started a thread over in the Alternative subforum titled: "nirvana = nirvana?"
A few hours later, the mods locked it down with this explanation: "Just because this section is called 'Alternative' doesn't mean anyone can just show up out of nowhere, inject whatever random thought they have, and call it a topic." — Quoting Hulk. *No hard feelings!*
In this Alternative section, you see threads like: "Paranormal phenomena, our weird experiences, and investigations..."; "Brain unlocking"; "The TV is reading my mind..."; all the way to stuff about UFO sightings, conspiracies, cults, and ghosts... I'm not denying any of that, but I also don't judge people for sharing their subjective experiences "out of thin air," because I truly respect everyone's inner world and what they go through.
But I wasn't writing about something imaginary or impossible to verify; I was talking about something that can actually help with real, everyday life and its struggles. And it's something that can be proven, though at the end of the day, everyone's journey is their own. I'm not talking about some fantasy-based, purely subjective stuff—I'm talking about something practical and grounded with measurable results in life that others could actually back up.
So, I’d really like to ask: "What exactly is the problem here? I’m looking for a specific, well-supported answer. Thanks, much respect.
Am I seeing things clearly enough to accept that I can't fight what's actually happening... because, well, it's real?
Or am I just living in some fantasy where life is supposed to follow my exact script?
Real life always sweeps away our fantasies since things obviously don't run on my terms.
The bigger the gap between how we think things should be and how they actually are, the more it hurts... because reality has a way of absolutely wrecking our house of cards—all those ideas about how life should flow or how people should act toward us.
Life is unstoppable in its daily grind, no matter how much we try to imagine it differently.
Every moment, life wakes us up and shows us it isn't what we thought it was.
The more stubborn we get with our illusions, the harder and more often reality hits us to snap us out of it.
Depression and feeling low suck, but honestly, they usually stem from those illusions we hold onto.
Life wakes us up in ways that hurt sometimes, but it's meant to bring us into alignment with it... so we can walk side-by-side instead of fighting against it because things didn't go our way.
Life gets way simpler when you just roll with it, kind of like how a mirror effortlessly reflects everything in front of it, letting the whole crazy, changing spectrum of life pass by without getting clouded or broken.
😁 But seriously, nothing is "Nothing" and nothing is "Everything"—it's like, neither exists because neither actually stays still.
It’s just this one moment, right? But even this moment isn't really "this" anymore because it's already shifted into something else. Everything is constantly morphing into the next "now"... Ugh... 🙂 who could ever catch or hold onto a single fixed moment... Man 🤣 let Sisyphus deal with that mess. Only this moment exists, but honestly, even that doesn't last, it just becomes the next thing... or... Just look at this!
🙂 aaaaAAGHh... Who even cares enough to stress about what exists when nothing actually stays put, which basically means nothing exists at all. Or maybe it's just this. Honestly, let this moment change however it wants. There's no way I can control this.
But I know Life exists, even if it never stands still 🧐
I don't mean to brag, but I honestly don't feel like I'm the one doing the creating... it just flows out of this massive "oneness" we're all part of. Maybe I just have a more sensitive "antenna" for picking up on things, tuned into those unique frequencies and messages meant specifically for each individual...
In a way, I’m an innovator. I’ve got two patents under my belt, plus another 50 to 100 practical solutions currently being prepped for prototyping.
So, is there a 🙂 spiritual person or maybe an investor out there with a real knack for entrepreneurship who wants in? We’re talking about creating enough jobs to actually start hiring whole teams...
Heh 🙂 today is just a super intense "happy hour" from a total creative trip...
P.S. I don't think I was chosen or gifted by God to be some superhuman above the rest... Unless everyone else on Earth feels that way about themselves too.
@ injected element, you’ve got a solid handle on what perspective actually means.
Now, Brutalis has a perspective, but it’s a pretty brutal one toward himself. He’s basically a pro at maintaining this "nothing ever goes my way" mindset... which is a hell of a way to build a reality.
Things aren't always what they seem, but then again, it's totally up to us how we choose to see them. We have infinite choices there.
1. Infinite Perspective
Realize just how endless these viewpoints are. Everything comes down to perspective—whether it's positive, neutral, or negative. Recognize that we’re the ones building our own outlook. Our perspective creates our reality; by constantly shifting those internal lenses, we shape our own personal version of the world.
2. Relative Perspective
The way we perceive things is how they exist for us. You've gotta be conscious of your current mindset and see how it's hitting your life. Is it tearing you down or building you up? Be honest with yourself about where you're at right now. If you don't want "that kind of life," it means you need to change your perspective, not your life. See, you can't actually change life itself. But by consciously picking a different lens, you effectively "change" your life because it opens up entirely new possibilities.
Life is just the perspective through which we view it. Life simply *is* and stays the same, but by shifting our perspective, we change the entire experience of living.
You can't fix the "outside" world, you can only shift the lens you use to look at it.
We aren't masters of life, but we are masters of our perspective. And through that perspective, we become the masters of our lives.
Brutal: Try playing around with some different angles, but do it on purpose this time. Right now, you're a master at that brutal perspective that keeps making your life feel so harsh. Since you're already an expert at being miserable, try being an expert at something else. Just take it slow... It’s on us, not on life.
You’re probably talking about that raw, uncalculated soul-to-soul connection we humans have... You know, that feeling when everything just flows perfectly without any fear or hesitation. That's what you're getting at, right?
It's such a deep, beautiful experience when communication happens naturally without overthinking things. I really hope one day that becomes the norm for people instead of being this rare exception...
I actually have a little story of my own to share. I was walking through a field out in the countryside, and I saw this tiny, skinny cat approaching me from a distance. She spotted me and headed straight my way. When we finally met up, she just sat there meowing and looking up at me—it felt like she was trying to tell me something. Just to test the waters, I turned around and started walking away, but she actually caught up to me and nipped at my jeans! Okay, I got the hint, so I let her lead the way. She started walking, glancing back every few steps to make sure I was following. After about a couple hundred yards, she led me right to three little kittens she wasn't strong enough to move to safety herself. I picked the kittens up, brought them home, and put them in a box, and she happily jumped right in with them. To me, that was such an incredible moment of connection between a human and an animal, even though we speak totally different languages. It's probably not even about language, but something deeper that exists beyond words...
Anthony Ross2 said:I’m not entirely sure about the results—after all, we’re all on these journeys that either drag on forever or maybe never truly end. But since these paths are so complex, and honestly kind of terrifying sometimes, we get to peek into so many different corners of ourselves. By diving straight into our own shadow, we can finally see our lives through a whole new set of mirrors.
I’ve started to realize that simplicity is actually the best way to measure spiritual progress. Whenever I manage to keep things simple, I feel like I'm succeeding. Simplicity is what eventually led me to love. Or maybe it was the other way around? I'm not quite sure.😍
So simple and just beautiful 😍 Simple and peaceful 🙂
I'm an Angel, but I'm also the Devil... though there’s this middle ground where they both meet, a place where good and evil don't even exist. But oh my God, let's just go ahead and "change" things! If it's all just empty drama and fake stunts for the sake of the show... Unknown 🙂
Anthony Cook8 said:Exactly. Besides, who gets to decide what counts as a punishment versus a reward? What defines "good" or "bad" when everyone experiences their life circumstances so differently? And how can we even call something a mistake when everything is working out perfectly, and we're receiving exactly what we need at every single moment?
I'm with you on this. Everything is perfect 🙂 except when the mind gets involved. The mind comes in with all these conditioned ideas of what perfection should look like, and no matter how it tries to frame things, it always ends up being polarized and fleeting. It’s totally impossible for the mind to grasp, and honestly, words just can't touch it because language itself is limiting, no matter how well it tries to describe an infinite "dimension." Everything is unfolding exactly as it should, and there’s really no way for anyone to run from it or save themselves from it. There’s no need to flee, search, or seek salvation...
Escaping, seeking salvation, or searching—those are just extra layers of illusion we pile on later. They just weigh down that "person" who was already free and Presence/Awareness long ago, which is simply awake and free through all of it. Awareness just flows right along with whatever happens...
So now I’m seeing it—it all happens within "Consciousness." That "Consciousness" is just Me and Everyone else! By "Consciousness," I mean the realization that I *am* "Consciousness," if I can even find a better way to put it. This impersonal Consciousness perceives itself as "Pure Consciousness," but it also recognizes the part I think is "me"—kind of like my little ego or personal awareness...
All experiences are short-lived because they’re just states popping up within the "Consciousness" inside me 😉 and inside you too! Krena! Your own experience just surfaced in the "Consciousness" that is your True Self! No experience can actually hurt "Consciousness" because it just shines a light on whatever is happening without changing the core essence. Experiences and moods come and go, but only "Consciousness" stays forever...
Maybe I should go see some eccentric shrink 🤣. Is there anyone here who’s an "expert"? A soul specialist? Or maybe someone who understands the deep dive I'm going through right now. I'm really curious and would love to hear another perspective! Maybe I’ll try bringing this "vision" to a psych or psychology thread here, provided they don't treat me like some fragile little flower and try to medicate me into submission with pills and that "standard" way of thinking?!
If nothing else, at least now I know I'm dreaming. Before this, I had no clue I was dreaming... 🙂

But honestly, in both scenarios, you're still dealing with intense emotions and attachments—which is exactly the kind of stuff those "old souls" we're talking about are trying to dodge.
I’m actually posting on this thread and that other one about soulmates at the same time, and I’m starting to lose track of which is which since they're becoming pretty much the same thing anyway. 😁
Just wanted to jump in here with one thought regarding this whole "star soul" idea... The whole point of being a "star soul" is that they don't try to avoid anything, not even getting attached. A true "star soul" just lives life head-on, without trying to stay detached from existence or anything in it...
Detachment isn't some kind of "spiritual" win or milestone. Honestly, detachment just causes suffering. If you're totally detached, you aren't even really living. It creates a wall against life (way more useless and damaging than the Berlin Wall), a block that disconnects you and forces you into a struggle against life itself. Detachment splits you apart just as much as attachment does...

🙂 And they really are the same! You start feeling that "sameness" and just get lost in it. The lines just blur... because they're basically talking about the exact same thing.
