Nicholas Long2 said:Honestly, whenever any national team—or even just a single athlete—from a country of only about 4.5 million people manages to snag any kind of medal, we should probably give them a standing ovation.
And let's talk about the players themselves. When an athlete grinds through an entire grueling season, then turns around and heads straight to the World Cup or the Euro Championship—where they’re playing ten incredibly intense games in ten days—only to jump right back into their club schedule immediately after? That deserves respect, regardless of whether they walk away with hardware or not...
Some of these guys were playing for their clubs right up until Christmas, then they fly out for training camps, play the Euro Championship now, and then—get this—they’re right back with their clubs the very next weekend...
Then it’s prep for the Olympics... then back to the club until December... and then straight into training for the World Cup again...
No other national team or group of players is operating on a relentless loop like this...
And yet, somehow, that's exactly what people choose to complain about.🤮
