Honestly, let it all just go to hell...
Austin Doyle40, this isn't even your problem...

And yeah, my deepest apologies for the excessive use of... IE browsers... seriously, my bad.

Also, any idea what tickets will run me? (I'm guessing maybe 200-$100). Maybe we can just sneak in through some field behind the venue... or perhaps just bury ourselves under the stage a few days before the show starts...

Does anyone have a brilliant plan for getting into the concert for free? Maybe some scheme involving secret airport tunnels... or something along those lines?

You’re "apologizing" and saying "my bad" simply because you reopened a thread that was already active... 😲 🤔
Fiji—honestly, I thought I was the one who had landed from Mars, but where on earth did you come from? 😁
As for sneaking into the show for free, well, in this life, you need a connection for everything—even for that. Then again, you could always just work your way into a ticket, couldn't you?
By the way, thank God Metallica is coming!

This is being merged back into the original thread

Fine then.
I guess I'll just have to go back and double-check my calendar again... 😁

I’m not entirely sure...
But I don't quite grasp why you felt the need to start a whole new thread—there's already an existing one right down below here:

Everything you're looking for is laid out right there...

Isn't there some talk floating around that the actual date is July 26th?

I’ve always had a soft spot for that fine, wet sand... though honestly, even the stuff from the Mojave isn't bad—except for the way it manages to find its way into every single microscopic crevice and pore imaginable...😁 😁

All sand is pretty good, with one glaring exception: construction grade cement sand.🙂
Let it get wherever it wants to go...😁

so, you're brave—you aren't afraid of the needle (though what exactly are you doing with a needle🙂 )
and honestly, I actually find Do(l)by quite charming—I even remember some of his songs, and music videos too!👋

But in all seriousness, the movie is excellent—the atmosphere, the acting, even those damn
raindrops (except for the ending)

it didn't bother me at all that the dialogue was a bit rambling... then again, that’s just the nature of the subject matter—

and my absolute favorite part? That whipping scene in the underground club.
👍 👍

I might be on something, but it isn't a needle🙄
Do(l)by😁 is fine in any context, provided they don't overdo it. You know, I showed up to the theater to sit in a seat and watch a movie, not to end up face-down on the floor from the sheer volume of the sound😲 😁 😁

Iggy Pop 😵 😁

There are probably more out there—it's just a matter of when I finally get my act together and remember them...

Kevin Wood22 said:My dear, fearful boldeagle3,
I am writing this to you, genuinely stunned by the realization that pigeons and a little bit of blood managed to scare you quite so intensely. Well—perhaps you were just a little too close to that damn Dolby sound system (I mean, who actually fears pigeons? Honestly, what a joke...)

a) Hollywood—not everything about Hollywood is bad, except perhaps that desperate urge to
ALWAYS sugarcoat the ending
b) Gabriel Byrne is great, but otherwise? 👎 Maybe in
music🙄
c) Patricia—we agree👍

I write this to you with respect, along with a sincere hope that you stop being afraid of certain sounds, images of blood, or pigeons. Speaking from my own experience—and I absolutely loathe blood, needles piercing skin, and all that—there isn't much blood here, and it certainly isn't used for cheap scares. This film is really about a terrifying realization: the anxiety of an individual who isn't understood, who doesn't understand themselves, and the sheer indifference of a world that just wants to dump everything onto one person—you even pierced your own wrists, didn't you? Yeah, how else?

There is nothing else to fear here, sunny beach... except maybe the darkness within, though there’s none of that in beautiful Brazil—not even in the summers. Over there, they have rivers running with blood, but everyone is still fucking happy!!!👋

😕
And you really went there...
It wasn't the pigeons at all, it was the sheer volume that shook half the theater. FUCKING DOLBY!
As for the blood, it doesn't scare me. I don't recoil from it, nor do I look away when a needle—or in this case, a nail—pierces a wrist.
Byrne is top-tier for me! 😁
But that part where she pierces her own wrists? That was some absolute bullshit that honestly left me stunned.

restlesslynx said:Gabriel Byrne is fantastic... even in End of Days, where he plays that dark angel—he's just as striking there. 👍

Yesssssss 🙏 🙏 🙏
Stigmata in Movies ·
The film was solid, though I feel it could have been much more impactful—it leans a bit too heavily into that typical Hollywood gloss, if you know what I mean.
I caught it in the theater, which is, of course, a completely different experience.
I happened to be sitting right next to the speakers, so when those pigeons took flight, the Dolby surround sound actually knocked me onto the floor... Honestly, this constant Hollywood intimidation tactics approach is starting to get on my nerves.
Patricia Arquette was great, but then again, she’s always been pretty fantastic in my book.
And Gabriel Byrne is even better by a long shot.
I can't really give you a deeper breakdown because, frankly, the plot escapes me... I haven't watched it on TV lately, but I did record it.

It isn't about The Doors—it's the song itself...
Honestly, I could request they play it at my funeral just to ensure everyone in attendance suffers along with me... 🙂 😁
God, this track just absolutely wrecks me. 😢

Today I found myself 😠 digging through a pile of old MP3 files that have been gathering dust next to me for months now😠 when I stumbled upon the perfect track—the kind of song you use as a bookend, the ultimate crown for my entire collection of heartbreak anthems:

Azra - Ako znas bilo sto

Honestly, since I started sobbing uncontrollably at the sheer weight of everything this song represents... and I don't think I can recall ever reacting to music quite like this... any commentary at all feels pretty much redundant.

Right now, the one film that sticks in my mind—mostly because of its overwhelming visual impact—is The Cell.

I actually caught it in a theater, which, let’s be honest, offers a completely different experience than watching it on a TV at home... I found the cinematography to be absolutely breathtaking.

As for whether the movie is actually any good? Well, that isn't really what we're here to discuss. 🙂

It wasn't me, it was someone else, la la la...
But Johnny? Seriously, which heartless idiot actually made him cry???

Fine, maybe just in one song (... though that’s a world away, out in Illinois, where a headstone sits... just waiting for Pete to arrive from somewhere far, far away, traveling all the way from Alaska to Mexico—that’s the other version, Pete... and that is America) back when I was in Illinois—that tiny little state—I practically scoured the whole place looking for that specific grave, and there was nothing... damn lying Johnny... he actually got me crying, I'll admit it!

That's the thing about Johnny 😕
Watch out 🙂

He admitted it! Aaaaahhhhhh 😁

How is that even possible? Hmm? Seriously... how is that actually possible?

Kevin Wood22—one star—🆙 Just back off this girl, you absolute moron! You don't even know how to use the quote function, and your little observations are completely mindless...🙄 They aren't even funny anymore. Do you even realize how much you're...? Look, Johnny, just get lost...

Anything is possible...
It’s not even you—it’s Štulić!
Oh, please... don't act like it actually matters. 😛

You really are something, Kevin Wood22... 🙂 Damn you, Dado.
